Simply charming”

The bedroom is really charming and nicely furnished; it‘s also a good size and has somewhere to hang clothes. The bathroom is also a good size, but you had no warm water. The staff are really wonderful; warm, friendly and helpful. The guesthouse is situated about a 10min walk from Independence monument, and away from the busiest roads. I hired a bike for a day and cycled around the villages near Andoung Reussei and Khum Srea Thmei. It was a magical day; such friendly inquisitive people and beautiful countryside. I completely recommend the guesthouse and the area.

There aren't a ton of options for accommodation in Kompong Chhnang and I'm pretty sure this is the best bet. The grounds are very beautiful and the rooms are decent. Not dirty, but very basic. We kept having to kill mosquitos in our room. They provide a breakfast for $3 which is good and also helpful because there aren't ton of eating options in town. In fact, would be nice if they were open for dinner as well. The staff was nice and helpful, though we wish they had been a little more forthcoming with what they recommended to do in the area, how to get around, etc.

This guesthouse is just beautiful, surrounded by the nature and so peaceful. Rooms are simple and clean, the staff is super nice and helpful. I stayed 2 nights and got a lot of good energy from this magic place. I stayed 2 nights, i also rent a bike for 2$/day, breakfast is 3.5 $. Highly commanded

Friendly and helpful staff, a great property!”

We stayed for 2 nights. Sonantea sent me a message to offer us free pickup from the bus, which we gladly took. We didn't ask for much help, but she did help us rent a motorbike, and booked our return bus tickets to Phnom Penh. The property itself is such a nice quiet garden area! The wifi was great, AC worked well, and the restaurant has a great breakfast. Would stay here again!

A lovely place to stay”

Located close to the city center in a quiet street, very friendly staff, and very peaceful garden! Room was clean, facilities are good : bike (2$), bus booking, tuk-tuk, breakfast available (3$), laundry... You will probably stay more than you planed!

good choice”

great guest house in a beautiful leafy garden. Location is quiet and good. Main town 5 minutes by bicycle, local eating 2 minutes walk (around most of the quiet roads). Really nice family (good English speaking). Went for 2 nights, stayed for 5. Lazy cycling in the beautiful surrounding countryside.

Basic homestay”

Staff was friendly and helpful. Organized a tour with the hotel, as the tuk tuk driver was there during our check in. Brought us to a few places - temple on mountain, pottery village and floating village, which cost us USD15. Overall half a day tour is more than enough in Kampong Chhnang.

Cosy stay”

We enjoyed our one night here. It was reasonably clean, quiet and comfortable bed. It isn't very clear on the agoda booking site that payment is collected when you arrive at the guesthouse, we had to put our credit card details in for the booking which was a confusing and awkward conversation with the reception.

Perfect base for exploring floating villages”

Very friendly helpful relaxing place to stay. Helped us with suggesting little wooden rowing boat with motor and umbrella for exploring floating villages - which we found a magical experience. Met some interesting travellers at hotel and a very interesting American monk staying there. Hotel was very clean and not a single mosquito in room. Strongly recommend

Beyond expectations ”

Big welcoming committee on arrival. Had cold beer in cool box in the lovely little bar/breakfast area. Room was surprisingly spacious. Lovely breakfasts - fresh baguettes, eggs, tea, toast and jams - all for 3 dollars. Nothing was too much trouble. My husband is always wary of me booking places like this but even he enjoyed his stay. We stayed 2 nights ( enough probably) - highly recommend.

Quaint hotel”

First of all, definitely pay the extra for an aircon room - they are quieter the non aircon rooms were very stuffy. A basic guesthouse with comfortable beds and hot showers - breakfast (although an extra charge) was good too! Would recommend hiring bicycles to see the sights!

Fantastically brilliant”

A gem of a place. The staff were very friendly and helpful and tried hard to make us feel at home. Rooms were clean and tidy and the whole place was obviously well cared for. It had a lovely vibe about it and have no hesitation in recommending this guest house

Great guest house!”

Had a very good stay, clean double bed fan room for $8 a night. There was even a moto kangbey to pick me up from the bus drop-off for free. The room I stayed in had a broken sink, that's the only issue.

Pleasant stay”

The set up is nice, children can run around in the small courtyard/parking, little open houses with hammocks to rest outside. The restaurant was just starting to make dinners, super slow service, they will prbably improve. (breakfast is fine)

Nice garden and cool when hot”

Tuk tuk driver hangs out the front for business which is annoying. Breakfast wasn't served every day. Food at the market was good but no where else worth eating at in town. Wild monkeys in town were great.
