Excellent! ”
I would highly reccommend Garden Village Guesthouse to everyone who is planning to visit Cambodia especially wanted to be near pub street and angkor wat. They are near everything especially atm booth. Pub street is just next to it and the area is food haven with diff choices. Lastly, for those who may need transportation there are lots of choices either tuk tuk or motor bike rentals even bicycles.

Great location, you get what you pay for...”
didn't really stick around the hostel for all that long, as i had friends staying across town. i found the hostel lobby & bar, clean and accessible and i assume if i had stuck around more i would have met some lovely, like-minded travellers. i stayed in a private double room. the room itself had two clean doublebeds with mosquito netting (such a relief for the area) and i didn't see any bed bugs or have any in my luggage when i left. the room was in the back of the hostel in a separate building with plywood separating each room and a padlock on the door to keep people out (and in). the toilets were iffy and everything in my experience felt a bit jail-like, but you get what you pay for (i think i paid $/ night for the private room). overall, good, cheap food, good location & iffy rooms. i wasn't upset at all, as my expectations weren't high, but i think you might be able to find a better place to stay in siem reap.

nice place for a short stay over”
Garden Village is somewhere that I have stayed quite a few times over the years. It has changed a lot in recent times. Now they have a swimming pool and the $1 dollar beds at the bar are gone, which has changed the atmosphere at the place. The room i stayed in was in the original building and was in a fairly poor state of repair, although given the price for my own accom and my own private bathroom it was still a good deal. Wifi was relatively weak throughout the building. When I decided to check out before the end of my stay, the boss was more than willing to help out and did not argue and gave me a full refund. In short. This place was fine during my earlier student/traveller days, but a few years on I am looking for something a little better quality. It remains however, a great place to go for a beer and meet fellow travellers and catch up.

Great staff, spacious room. ”
I heard of the place as a recommendation while traveling in Laos and it stand up to its great reputation. Sro Am, the girl at the reception went far out to help me with my non-english speaking Tuk Tuk driver that I got at the bus station and did my Temple tour with, she is great! The room was also very good and spacious. The location is great (Google maps will give you an erroneous location, don't pay attention). You can get a $1 breakfast just a couple of walking dinstance out of the guesthouse or buy a banana pancakes here but more expensive.

Nice backpacker hostel near the town center”
The guesthouse is not in the center but just a short walk away (about 500m). We stayed on a double room on the back side of the hotel, so no noise from the nice, lively bar. We had booked a room with cold water, but they upgraded us to one with hot water. The room was quite big, but no furniture apart from the bed. We had a private bathroom and a fan. There is free wifi in the guesthouse, but it didn't reach our bedroom. There are computers and books in the reception, and also a small information desk where you can book trips and buy tickets. The staff are very nice and helpful.

Good location & cheap”
Plus: - location is near to night market & old market, which are the heart of the city. - cheap price - free wifi in the room Minus: - no TV, no soap provided, no fridge - staff service is not that good - room is not so clean This place did just enough for overnight stay during the trip to Siem Reap. Facilities are poor, but compensated by good location & price.

Nice for budget group travel”
This place was booked from and indeed was the great place to stay for budget travelers. I believe this was one of among the cheapest accommodations in Siam Reap with decent facilities. If you travel by 5+ people and are in very tight budget, you may consider to stay here.

Great to relax at the pool after a day at the temples”
Best thing for sure is the pool where you can relax. Prices for drinks and food are reasonable. In the first night we didn't get a room but had to stay at the garden village villa. Only 2 minutes away, still not the same. It got sorted out so we moved after one night. And agoda was very good in giving us a refund for the trouble. Thanks again.

Good Option as a cheap backpacker hostel”
the garden village is a good option for budget travellers. i got a nice cheap room, which was mostly clean. the bathroom wasn't that nice, but for the price it was good enough for me. you get what you pay i think. the rooftop restaurant is very good, you can hang out, meet other travellers or just chill and the food is good as well. all in all a good option. you even can rent bikes if you want to do angkor by bike, which is possible for sure.

Great value for money”
The helpful staff, lovely pool, and fun atmosphere make this a great guesthouse. If you're not as into hostels and partying, they have private rooms and the noise from the pool party wont keep you up at night.

Strategic location ”
For the Muslim traveler, this guesthouse is only 5min walking distance to mosque and halal restaurant. Opposite is night market / pub street. Inside this guesthouse there is 24hours cafe at the swimming pool. I pay for low price with great experience.

Basic Accomodation”
Huge room but rather spartan. But for a guesthouse (and for the price), no complaints. The location of the guesthouse makes it easy to get around Siem Reap.

For our Stay in siam reap it was the perfect stay. Really cheap and the location was good, in walk by distance to the city center. as we didnt spend to much time in our room, as we were there to explore angkor, we didnt need much. We highly recommend this place for everyone who just need a bed to sleep and nothing more.

Friendly staff and clean spacious rooms”
I really enjoyed staying here. The rooms were nice and big, clean, and safe. I was able to book my Angkor Wat tour through the hotel and use a tuk tuk driver that brought me from the bus station to the hotel. There's a rooftop restaurant where you can order drinks and food. It's pretty hopping at night. It's really close to the action and the night market but still tucked away in a corner.

Nice location, lovely sunset bar!”
Was given a huge room (very spacious), but the shower was abit spoilt and rusty. However, the Sunset bar within the guesthouse compound provided much solace from the bustling Night Market (try the Amoks at Sunset Bar, superb!). I like the location as it was quiet and just 5 mins walk to the Night Market.
