Best View Outside Your Hotel Window”
I have been going to Baguio every now and then so I'm used to staying at near by hotels, usually 10 minutes away from Burnham. We were after the recently colder than normal climate and it seems everyone was into the same idea. Every place I know was fully booked so I had to find an alternative - I found Gardenville. At first I was taken aback by the hotel's distance from the bus terminal, took us about 20 minutes or so. You can say all my letdowns was swept away the instant we got there. Everyone from the guard to the front desk was very cordial, helpful and 5-star-hotel-attentive! They gave us a room upgrade for free since ours was already taken. Wondering what the room was like? It was awesome! It smelled so new and so clean and to top it all off, the view was mesmerizing. I can't say enough about this hotel because every bit of experience we had in Gardenville was indeed so memorable that it makes me want to go back there every chance we get... and we will be coming back soon with friends.

A Breath of Fresh Air”
The Gardenville was great! From the time we arrived at the front desk until we checked out, everything was perfect. The rooms are large and very well equipped. The restaurant food was very good, as well as the price. Getting a taxi to downtown was easy and not expensive. Besides the staff, the every best was the view from the hotel across the valley. Breath taking!

Clean rooms, Comfy bed, Very nice Mountain View,”
The check in was FAST. Very nice hotel staff. The mountain view was great. This hotel is located in the Mountain side of Baguio which is opposite to Camp John Hay area. We wanted to feel the cold weather and we did. The hotel is new so the rooms are very clean. It has an elevator which is a plus. There is a basic free breakfast. The view in the rooms are awesome. We stayed there just to sleep and then go out to tour Baguio during the day. It does not have recreational activities. It was comfortable and it has a nice view. The hotel is medium size. I would go back again if we will opt for mountain side but my next plan is stay around the Camp John Hay area. Over all it was a good stay!

A wonderful nights stay”
Stayed for one night to see the Baguio flower festival. Allowed us to check in early. Mistake was made with the room booked but the staff sorted it out and gave us what I thought was a much better room at no cost. Food was really nice and the waiters helpful even when the children kept changing their minds about what to eat. The room was really clean and tidy. Its a bit away from the town centre which made it a bit difficult to get about Baguio itself but that was due more to the flower festival and the crowds then the location of the hotel. Normally it would be quite easy to get a taxi to see the different sites.

Quiet scenic location in a gated community ”
Overall our stay was very good, we liked the quiet location in Green Valley gated community, as well as the magnificent views, the large modern rooms and the friendly staff. The food was good quality and reasonably priced.

Great hotel of great value.”
It was a great experience for us to stay there, we loved it after we reached the hotel at night. Beautiful rooms with all the facilities and nice view from the hotel. We loved the hotel and will stay there again if we go to Baguio city again.

A Walk in the Clouds Hotel”
I would recommend this hotel to those travellers who like peaceful and away from the busy city life. The hotel is located inside a village. It is closer to Naguillan Rd. and quite far from the town (around 10 minutes) I like the hotel service. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. The rooms are clean and the view from our room was beautiful. (We can see the mThe food in the restaurant was ok but their Arroz Caldo is not so great

Good Quality Hotel”
Overall we enjoyed our stay, the rooms was large and clean, although we did'nt realise the 'do not disturb' sign was reversible to 'please clean' until halfway through our stay. Plenty of hot water etc, plus the staff were all helpful. The out of town locations not a problem, the security called taxis quickly and it was only 90-100 Pesos into the centre of town. Our only comment is ti pick a room on the valley side, what little traffic there is can be noisy at night. We would definitely stay again.

Disappointed - not what we expected - overpriced.”
I'm posting my review to help other guests... since Gardenville Hotel's online promotions and descriptions lack significant details. 1. Since we booked and paid through Agoda, we were expecting that a room was already prepared for us when we arrive (don't get me wrong - my family and I have been using Agoda for years now... and this is the first time this thing happened). We even got there late - about 5pm (check in time is 2pm). So I waited for them to check their email first to confirm my booking and payment. 2. The elevator is dirty - really dirty. 3. We were already in our room for more than 15 minutes when a staff told me to go back to the reception because I had to sign something. 4. When we entered the room, we noticed that there were no slippers and no floor towel. We asked if they have these stuff, and they said "YES". So we had to go down (again) and do the request. 5. No aircon for ALL ROOMS - which is obviously not in the hotel description. There are lots of hotels in Baguio with aircons, so it is just common sense to include this VERY IMPORTANT detail. So yeah, we had to request (again) for a fan. We're still lucky that we booked here in January - not during the summer months. 6. My husband went down to check their other facilities. He was able to talk to a guy who was seated at the reception. Apparently, he looked like he's the owner or manager of the hotel because HE WAS RUDE. Very rude. The other people working there were nice. Just this one person. 7. The door lock of the hotel room can be easily opened by a toddler at the middle of the night. No additional locks. Just that simple lock at the knob. 8. The balcony railing isn't safe for kids. A 3-year-old kid can easily go through the gaps. 9. The shower area is too small and slippery... and there are no handles installed to the walls. Obviously, this is dangerous for seniors and pregnant guests. 10. Water pressure is low. 11. There's an issue with the water heater -

Great value for money hotel”
It was a great stay. The hotel was outside baguio city, around 10 minutes so it was peaceful and its up in a hill. Offers a great view of the mountain ranges. Very cool and calm. Rooms should at least have fans. Food is okay, better get some grub elsewhere but the staff performance is very good. New and very clean rooms.

Nice place to stay.”
It's a very pleasant place to stay, one of the newest hotel in town, good food at a very affordable price, friendly & efficient staff, entertained early check-in... It will be better if WiFi & phone is equipped in every room...

Top of the world”
Cold and very enjoyable. When you traveling just get out and do some legwork to see the hotel and their surrounding if you are not sure about the area. There was no heat in the room and a bit cold for the time of the year. Still good and about 15 minutes ride into downtown and the park which was mice for me.The mountianside view outstanding. Ellis Rance, Jr United States

Quiet and peaceful hotel away from city traffic”
Our stay was short but the hotel managed to cater to our basic needs. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. Free breakfast for 2 included in our stay. WiFi in the rooms would be nice because theirs is only available in the lobby area. All in all a good stay.

quick stay at baguio great hotel”
Great... clean rooms, great food, only problem is water supply... during peak hours of showering sometimes the water dwindles... but given the circumstance that it is located very high up, i guess it can be forgivable. And the parking is a little tight
