The reason we chose this hotel was the location. We landed in Gatwick airport after midnight and because we have a 1 year old we wanted to be able to go straight to the hotel without any problems. So we did and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was great. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Overall a great hotel for tired travellers.

You can't find a better hotel at the Gatwick airport. It's convenient to both terminals. The price is excellent. The room was very clean and comfortable with all the expected amenities. They offer a free breakfast. The staff was very helpful. We got in at 8:30 pm, had breakfast at 7 am and caught a 9 am flight with a great night's sleep.

I have stayed here many times when flying out from Gatwick or when collecting family arriving early. It is often easier to travel up the night before and stay here instead of leaving home at the crack of dawn and suffering rush hour traffic. Large clean room with clean kettle. Comfortable bed. 10-15min walk to three bridge station. 5min walk to huge supermarket. no place to eat nearby other than hotel restaurants. No airport shuttle. YOu either take taxi or train from three bridge station. Three bridge station to gatwick airport was 2.2 pounds.

Russ Hill Hotel was great. Near to Gatwick airport, bus transfer provided & only 5 pounds to go back to the airport! Very homey feel, the room i was given was in the courtyard, great! I really enjoyed my stay, wished I could stay longer!

The hotel is in a quiet residential area a mile south of Crawley town centre & the railway station. Also convenient for Gatwick Airport. For an inexpensive place to stay, right next to Gatwick, this is your place. The room we had was tiny, but clean and had a private bath. We did not make use of the shuttle they ran to the airport, but that is another plus for those who worry about traffic delays getting in the iarport in time!

The hotel is well-located for Gatwick airport and is connected to the airport via a regular shuttlebus (not free). The rooms are fine for a stopover like ours and the staff were good. We were meeting friends there and we all ate in the bar, which provided good food at a reasonable price.

A little congested to fit 3 adults though and 15-20 mins from gatwick airport by cab (no shuttle bus) and a 10-15 mins walk to the tube station. But good breakfast and made it quite early we could eat before we left for our flight. Allowed us early check in when we arrived. All in all good if your looking for something in this location.

Had a very early flight the following morning from Gatwick. Despite needing to leave at 4am, a good breakfast was prepared for me. The room was very clean, the mattress and bedding were clean and comfortable and the bathroom was modern. Highly recommended.
