This popular hotel in downtown Barcelona takes its name from the world famous Spanish painter Antoni Gaudm, who designed the Palau G|ell building nearby. Each of the hotel's guestrooms is situated on the upper floors of the building and feature cozy balconies that offer fantastic views of the area. Guests can take advantage of the hotel's fully equipped gymnasium which comes complete with state-of-the-art sporting equipment. The Gaudi Hotel also houses a café-styled restaurant which provides guests with a delicious buffet breakfast every morning and the very best in local and international dishes for lunch and dinner. The hotel is a great place to stay for guests looking to discover all the wonderful sights and sounds that the city has to offer.

Convenient location in heart on tourist area”
Ideal for our needs of two adults and one child. Room is small but adequate. Walls are thin but we had a room at back of building so pretty quiet. Nice to have a balcony. Staff was helpful. If you want to be in the middle of Rambla this is it.
Great location ”
Located about a block off la Rambla and close to Columbus Circle in a quiet area. Rooms are small but comfortable. No coffee available unless with expensive breakfast.
Relaxed, well organised and would go again!”
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Ideally p[laced for both the coast and all the historical attracttions. The metro is about a 400m walk, the gothic quarter under a 10 minute walk and beautiful squares and market nearby for a coffee. Although it isn't attached to the hotel, there is a carpark right next to the hotel and staying at the hotel offers a preferencial parking rate at 20 euros a day. I hope to go back to Barcelona and would be more than happy to stay at this hotel again.
Very conenient location with sighseeing closeby”
We use this hotel as our mid point for 2 cruises and one land trip by ourselves. As we have to spend a whole month in Europe, we need to bring a lot of clothings for the cruises as they don't have any laundry room on broad both cruise lines. The hotel stored our luggages willingly and they were in very good conditions when we got back our stuffs (3 big luggages and one handcarry) for 3 nights and (2 big luggages and one handcarry) for 11 nights. The staff were really very helpful to give suggestions and indications.
The staff needs to be little polite!”
Pros: Location is excellent! Cons: The staff there seems not trained for hospitality industry! So the behavior of the front desk goes rude if something doesn't go as expected! Not all rooms has open windows. Rooms inside are stuffy and they don't heed to requests for room change also.
Highly recommend it”
The hotel is right across the street from Palau de Guell and about 100 feets away from La Rambla. Great location and spacial room. Frendly staff. 5 minutes walking distance from L3 subway station on La Rambla.
Great location but a few niggles. ”
The room was ver small although I’d booked a superior but the balcony more than made up for this. We didn’t have an iron in the room and when I requested one the lovely girl at the desk informed me that they don’t have irons at all but offer a laundry service; €12 to iron a day dress was ludicrous so we spent our break slightly crumpled looking! The drains in the bathroom were also very stinky but a lot of Barcelona had the same problem so we used deodorant and kept the bathroom door closed. The location was perfect and the staff were lovely so I would definitely go back, I’d just take an iron with me!
The hotel is very central close to everything yet not so noisy as it’s in the corner. The pool was not available but it shows in the picture when booking. The rooftop area is excellent for the view.
Excellent location for sightseeing, just off La Rambla. Hotel was clean and warm, (maybe a little too warm for us Brits who are used to the cold in January!), staff were friendly & helpful, stored our luggage on arrival & departure as we arrived early & left late. Would definately go back & would recommend to others.
Lovely Spanish Hotel close to Alhambra ”
Lovely quintessential Spanish style hotel left you in no doubt which country you were in (as opposed to generic chains) in a peaceful rural location. Rooms were great value for money with stunning views from both the window of our room and terrace Buffet breakfast was fine howeverthe home cooked dinners -Spanish were delicious. An unexpected bonus was the pool which allowed for super relaxing after a busy day out. Parking outside the hotel was easy. A perfect location to visit tge Alhambra and our tour company offered a hotel pick-up which was perfect.
Staff was kind and helpful. I got a room which was very quiet. Close to metro, could take you to other parts of the city. Location was wonderful. It was the main reason why I chose this hotel. Can consider to stay again when come back to this city
Best overall location”
We were 4 friends traveling together, and all agree Hotel Gaudi was great! Starting with the front desk staff, who were friendly, helpful and caring. The rooms were comfortable and quiet (we had two rooms on the 3rd floor facing the back). The location, just off the La Rambla, across from Palau Guell was perfect. We enjoyed relaxing on the rooftop looking at the decorative chimney tops of the famous house.
Superb location, brilliant staff, ”
Right on the Ramblas, looked after our bags on the last day after checkout for no charge. Would of liked tea/coffee facility in the room, would try for a balcony room if staying again, overall superb for the cost
Clean, comfortable hotel in excellent location for tourist visits ”
Very pleased with this hotel. Staff all helpful and quick to assist. Clean and comfortable rooms, fabulous tooftop terrace overlooking Palau Guell and great city views.. Very good location just off La Rambla, perfect for the tourist attractions.
Lovely friendly hotel in a perfect location”
The hotel was great for us as a family of four (2 boys 5y and 8y) wanting to stay in the heart of Barcelona for two days. It's only a 50m walk to La Ramblas but not too noisy. Our room was located on the top floor with a terrace with fabulous views across the city and easy access to the rooftop terrace bar area. The pool was closed when we stayed but it's only 1m wide by about 8m long and about 0.5m deep so not worth bringing your swimmers for!! The terrace does overlook the roof of the Palau Guell though which is beautiful. All the staff were extremely polite and friendly and the hotel was clean everywhere. We'd go back and will recommend.
Great Location Wonderful Staff”
Had a 3 night stay at hotel. Overall Excellent stay at this hotel with good price. Would stay again- Thank You Con: no tea or coffee making facilities in room, beds are harder than we are used to. Pro: Food & Bar at hotel was great, location excellent, Staff were helpful & friendly, hotel itself was very well kept & appeared new, safe place to store your luggage if your flight was later in the day, Room were quite at night & included mini toiletries, rooms very clean and kept well.
cosy and funky in Barcelona”
we enjoyed our stay, easy to access food and tourist destinations staff friendly and helpful. bathroom small but good shower/water pressure. Room small but only in it for short times due to proximity of so much of interest
value for money”
fabulous location just off la rambla, a hive of bustling activity morning, noon and night, so you're in the thick of it all, and we couldn't be happier. the gaudi hotel is a great find in barcelona and at a great price. the rooms are not large but more than adequate for our stay and clean and comfortable. and the staff in all departments of the hotel were very professional, courteous and helpful with info about their wonderful city. all in all a great stay.
Gaudi hotel has not value for money”
I was very disappointed when I enter my room. Because, 1st, I looked foward a view with "Palau Guel" But I assigned one opposite side. So I had to watch Police car Parking lot through window 2nd, Bed was terrible. When I sat on the bed I hurt my ass. Matress Spring was broken & had not tention. The hotel was much expensive than its value.
