Note that this hostel no longer actually exists and it is now Cheetah hostel (though the gecko restaurant sign is also still there). They couldn’t initially find my booking and that may be related to this perhaps. The dorm room itself was spacious enough and the bed comfortable, however there is no secure area at all, so take your stuff with you. There was always a smell of smoke around from people sitting a floor down, smoking outside the door (by a window), or even in the room at one point. Smoking drugs as much as cigarettes. The room also smelt quite damp, so not for a long stay. The shower was cold (but that happens from time to time in most place so no big deal). Breakfast was basic but tasty enough. Free and pleasant coffee on tap the whole time. Pool table area was a building site. Staff mean well and the place has potential but a lot of work needs done to make this a good spot. I wouldn’t return without things changing.

Great location, decent beds, nice bar ”
The location can't be beat and they even have a bit of parking in front (rare). Breakfast is decent and the beds arent the usual super hard stuff (but it's still pretty hard if you aren't used to it). Older reception lady is super crabby, but the young woman working there is a sweetheart.

Comfy beds and not many other pros”
The beds were actually super comfy, however there aren't enough lockers or bathrooms for the number of people per room. The sink emptied onto the floor, or your feet. We also briefly got locked into our room in the morning because the handle on the door was broken. Not the best hostel I've ever been to but not the worst.

Super close to everything you need and only metres away from Old Quarter. Chilled non-party hostel but really easy to mingle with other backpackers and have a good time :)

Great Staff, Breakfast, Beds, Showers and Zen Fountain ”
This place is a great little find right in the heart of the action in the Old Quarter of Hanoi. Get the stay with breakfast options, it's well worth it and cooked to order. Staff is very friendly, but will give you your space if you like. So say hello to them, and they will quickly be amazing friends and advisors for you. Beds are non-squeaky, soft and have plush comforters. The only downside was other travellers talking at night (for no reason). The management is going to put up signs soon reminding people to be considerate, so it should be fixed by the time you read this.

Nice place, would stay again”
Location is very desirable, right in the middle of Hanoi old town. The dorm is to the back of the property, no street noise gets there. The main dorm is a very nice and large room, enough space to play random games on the wooden floor :) The restaurant area really looks nice, like the pictures. Breakfast is very good, there's a choice from the menu which you can have. I prolonged my stay.

Décoration zen avec Des fontaines et beaucoup de plantes, très bien situé au plein centre du ci un quartier,le Petit déjeuner gratuit est délicieux vous avez plein de choix, des jus de fruits frais, du café et du thé illimité. L'un des meilleurs hotel que jai fais jusqu'ici !
