Pesantren Darut Tauhid in Bandung is one of the best place to learn and mind the Islam. The hotel of Darul Jannah is in the complex, where is near to the mosque, Islamic library and pesantren (Islamic school). The location is very religious. The people there are friendly, among the guests always shared the Assalamualalikum (greets). Apart of religious place, it gives a unique feeling rather than just stay in a "hotel"

Before coming to the hotel, I checked it out on the agoda reviews as well as the trip advisor & I was not disappointed where the service was concerned. There were already many good remarks about their guests relations officers. We found all the staff on duty during our stay to be very helpful and always greeting you with a smile. My 1st surprise was that they actually went out to help me buy a 3G SIM card and activated it for me on my Iphone.. service i never got from any other hotels! We booked into 2 executive rooms, clean and spacious. The aircon in one of the rooms was a bit noisy, we reported before we left for our sight seeing & it was fixed by the time we returned in the afternoon. Once there was no hot water in the late evening but the service made up for this small inconvenience. We did not really enjoy the breakfast so we went about to the nearby eateries, really good food and great value. We hired a car & driver for 600K for 12 hours, it was convenient, the driver from Tara rentals knew all the locations we wanted to go to & even added his own recommendations. We has the best lamb satay in Marem, just down the road from the hotel, i think it's nos 136 on the same road, the lamb was so good we went back again on our last night. We shopped so much, i needed to weigh our luggages to see i should purchase more weight online with Airasia, the staff arranged to bring up the big digital weighing machine to my room on Level 5. Most hotels will tell you to bring all your luggage down to the weighing machine. On a whole, we highly recommend this hotel because of the service we got, otherwise it would just be another hotel.
