The location was very handy to catch the S-bahn. Simple, clean and basic.

o.k.
Noise, many teens loud and no control by staff. Floors need care.

No Hospitality Spirit
We stayed in a 2-people private room for one night before flying out of TXL airport the next morning. We arrived at around 11:30 am on the day of check-in and were advised by the staff that the room was not ready for check in. That's fine for us as we just wanted to leave the luggage for temporary storage. We were plainly told to put them in paid locker ourselves. This is in great contrast to the way how we were treated at another Generator Hostel at Stockholm just a few day ago. We arrived at 1 pm and our room was also not ready, the staff checked the computer and found another room that we could check in straight away. We came back late at night and found the toilet bowl has brown stains at the bottom. Since we would be leaving early for the flight next morning, there's nothing much we could do. I took a photo for record and showed it to the staff during check out. I would not recommend this hostel.

Staffs are amazing but we will never stay there again
The room wasn't ready at the check in time and we had to wait almost an hour, but the reception has offered us free drinks for the waiting time. We stayed on the 7th floor (private shower), on the 1st night when I was showering, the water was working then stop then working. But on 2nd night it was no water at all so we had to move to the new room. It would be better if they separate shared bathrooms to another floor. I didn't have enough sleep for 2 nights because of the sound of slamming doors, as well as, people were screaming and turning on their music very loud on the hallway at 2AM! Nevertheless, the best of this place is location; very close to S-Bahn and Tram. Staffs performance; very helpful, friendly and fast problem solving.

good price
pros: •a good deal for what you pay for. •room was big cons: •toilet was really small. •I had to wait for 20mins outside the door while waiting for the room to be done (after check in time) •people shouting and laughing near the backyards at night. really annoying suggestion: •it would be great to have at least a table in the room as some people writes travel journal.

Toilets are awfully filthy. Cleaned once in many days . The front desk people are busy in chewing gums . The breakfast is better to be avoided.

ThIs hostel is cheap but if you want ANYTHING extra (luggage storage, towel, breakfast) you have to pay. Location wasn't very central however very close to the train and tram. It was very clean including the bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful. The problem with this hostel is that you are literally just a number here. There is no vibe at all and no one drinking at the bar or socializing. The showers are almost unusable in the men's room. Not a party hostel and not a place to meet others.. There is also no air conditioning and you will wake up with the sun because it feels like a sauna. I wouldn't reccomend.
