Memorable honeymoon at Halong Bay”
We chose to board Genesis Regal Cruise for our honeymoon. They provided seamless transfers between our hotel (at Old Quarter) and to their boat. We were picked up on time by the driver. When we reached the pier, staff Jenny and her team welcomed us before we board the boat. We were greeted warmly by the General Mgr Alex and his team on the boat upon boarding and was handed refreshments & towels before we proceed to our rooms. I’d like to emphasize that the food they served on board were fully loaded meals!! Truly a value on what we paid for. They had like 5 courses of plated meals on our lunch and dinner. And we had buffet before leaving the boat. What made our trip more special was our room was nicely decorated for honeymoon. I personally think it was a sweet gesture from the staff as they also surprised us with a honeymoon cake. This experience will surely be remembered. We highly recommend to choose Genesis Regal Cruise when choosing a cruise ship in Halong Bay. Modern and clean rooms (all rooms with tub and balcony), warm and talented staff to keep us entertained throughout the cruise. The photos on the internet are same in actual, and even better. 😊 We’d like to extend our gratitude to Chee for making sure that our honeymoon is memorable. 😊

Perfect stay in Halong Bay ”
We stayed for two nights on Genesis Regal Cruises and it was definitely the best cruise around. The rooms were beautiful, with full-frame windows giving you a perfect view of the beautiful bay, and also a bathtub that you can lounge in after a day of activity. All of the meals are cooked on board, and we were pleasantly surprised by the standard of food, both Vietnamese and French dishes. There were daytime activities, including kayaking, visiting a floating village and cycling at Viet Hai village. If you go during the warm season, you would also be able to swim, but it was a bit too cool for swimming for us. The service was impeccable, from the waiters in the dining room to the staff on board who led us on our cycling tour in Viet Hai village, introducing the local culture. The staff were all so young but highly professional. The two-night stay is more relaxing, but if you are tight for time, then you can go for the one-night stay. Thank you so much to Genesis for a perfect stay!

Beautiful cruise with very kind staff”
We really enjoyed the cruise. The rooms are spacious and clean. The meals are great with great service. We appreciated Linh and Mai, who made the cruise memorable. A very special thanks to Ms Chee at the reservation center, she help us with reservations for transportation to the airport and even help us with a booking at another hotel we were going to after the cruise. She was so helpful and generous. Overall great experience! We recommend this tour.

We join 2 days trip in the cruise during the lunar new year. The cruise members are very nice and helpful. They prepare a birthday cake and flower for my mother to celebrate her birthday. Moreover, They decorated my parent's room with roses. This makes my parent feel very happy. Other than that, they arranged lunar new year party to us. In the party, they offered us bbq oysters, red wine, beers and fruits for free. They also arranged cooking classes for us and taught us how to make spring roll. It was really a great experience for us. What's more, the room is new and tidy. The food is fresh and delicious. I highly recommend everyone to join the Genesis Regal cruises.

Unforgettable 1 night trip in Halong”
We stayed in Genesis legal cruise for 1 night. Everything was perfect. The limousine pickup service was really convenient. The dishes cooked directly on the boat were really delicious. Activities including kayaking were also really fun. The weather was bad but we had a perfect vacation on this cruise. Best honeymoon trip”
We were so lucky to be upgraded to the VIP suite, which really made the trip for us. The room was beautiful - glass to ceiling windows looking out over Halong Bay - pretty hard to beat! The staff were fabulous, super friendly and helpful. Bar was great and they stayed up with us till the early hours of the morning, making sure we had a fabulous time. Loved all the activities. Thank you so much for a wonderful trip - one of our top highlights when visiting Vietnam.

Staffs were super friendly when we’re onboard which they treated everyone of us like a first class passenger. Some cool activities while we’re onboard ensuring that we get the most experience while we’re cruising along the Halong Bay, including kayaking, cooking, fishing, cave exploring etc. Genesis cruise is the best in Halong Bay, newly built cruise and well maintained facilities really make it worth the value.

Perfection! Private Balcony on every room”
This was the best experience so far while traveling in Vietnam. It is worth it. The staff were amazing, the buffet which we were fed 4 times was so delicious, the rooms are gorgeous with private balcony and hot tub over looking the bay, the activities were planned and scheduled on time, woke up early for Tai Chi. The staff are very attentive and friendly.

The staff’s service was excellent. Mai was very commendable, she was friendly, respectful and accommodating—she was constantly ensuring that our needs were met. Nancy was also very helpful as she fixed some of our dilemmas with a smile on her face. The facilities were in excellent condition as the ship has just started operating for a little over half a year. Excellent experience overall for both my wife and I.

Nice, calm & relaxing luxury Cruise”
We had a great stay on genesis regal cruises. We booked the terrace suite, and we were amazed by the ever-changing views from all the windows and the size of the terrace was so big. THe staff were accommodating, and the food was much better than we expected. The bar staff was very knowledgeable about cocktails etc. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely Stunning”
From start to finish our experience of the Genesis Regal cruise and their staff was second to none. We were taken care of by Ms Chee in the office of genesis regal and she couldn't do more to help us and ensure our trip went smoothly. She even went above and beyond advising how we could get a Visa Extension which took a lot of stress out of the trip. On board the facilities were excellent and the food was of a very high standard. We were welcomed with a meal consisting of several courses and all our dietry requirements were catered for with dishes being changed where necessary. The activities on board were fun, we took part in the cooking class and also squid fishing which my son loved. He even caught one so was over the moon. The rooms were top quality and the scenery is something you would never forget Only downside was there are no drinks included at all, not even with meals so there are additional costs Overall we were glad we chose the premium tour

The room is apacious, luxuary, comfortable with very nice balcony that offers panoramic sea view. We enjoyed delicious food and high quality of services in all aspects. Totally worth it”
The staff at genesis is very friendly and hospitable. The pre arrival support and quick response by the representative at genesis is superb. The cruise is new, clean rooms and lots of free activities to do. The buffet has a variety of spread and they also offer special preparation for vegetarian guests. Overall a very comfortable and well managed cruise.

Our stay in the cruise ship was relaxing however upon check out we found out that there are bath robes offered but we didn't saw any in our room and the staff asked us about it since they are "missing", the manager also told us to open our luggage for checking. It was pretty degrading and inconvenient but I don't even think 3 bath robes will fit in our small bags. Also, the services are not 24 hours - the therapist and restaurant are not available when we called around 10 pm. Still, it was okay since they are and easy to approach.

We expected more for that kind of money”
We chose this cruise because it was new, a medium size boat and big room. But with the money we paid, at over US 500 for only one night, we certainly expected more. From the transfer from Hanoi to Halong Bay, I had to ask them how, instead of immediate offering, and with the extra cost of US 30 per person, only mention it at the last minute. In the morning of the cruise, we came back from Sapa by overnight train arriving at 4:30 a.m. The staff saying that we could come to wait at the office. But when we arrived, the office was closed and the security guards refused to let us in. Fortunately, Hilton Hotel was nearby. Although the boat was new, the interior decoration looked good but at a closer look, it was not that neat, for example there was a gap between the door and its frame that we could peek through, and the door of the closet could not properly closed. The most disappointment was cleanliness. Three stars now. But the staff promised to make it better.
