Much overpriced
Location, location, location
The room was lacking a table. The double bed was not double but two single beds which kept disassembling in a most annoying way. The bathroom lacked space and the bathroom linen provided was insufficient. The hotel wifi kept failing and you had to log in continuously into it even without leaving the room. The breakfast lounge was crumpled and the food was cheap: mortadella and canned fruit salad. Much overpriced for the value.

Very near to Piazza Navona
Breakfast was ok. Heater was good. Staff were good
I book a single room for 4 nights. I was shocked to see how small the room was. Location was great though. Very near to Piazza Navina and near Hop On bus stop. Shower was also very small. I have to stand straight and cannot bend at all. Other things ok. Staff were ok and helpful

Hotel Genio Via Zanardelli Rome
location location location
I have known this hotel since 1997- as noted Staff great - served only buffet breakfast (no other meals) which was fine - Hotel rooms not as clean as they should be: carpets need to be changed; very dusty curtains vacuumed - worst of all filters in room unit air conditioners changed!!!

Best location in Rome
Safe location Great breakfast with huge terrace
We had a great stay. It is a bit old world shabby but it suited us. Definitely the safest area of Rome. Close to all the major attractions you can't go wrong.

Fine stay in average hotel
Location, friendly staff, quiet room
The hotel is located just off Piazza Navona and near main attractions. You can walk from the hotel to the main places of interest en nearby shopping Streets. You really have to like Rome, or get to like it. The hotel is an average Roman hotel. Nothing special and sort of rundown. Not really value for money, but that's hard to get everywhere in Rome. The room was quiet, but hardly had a view. The room was warm and could nog be cooled. Old furniture but sufficient. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The goo thing about the hotel is the breakfast room, located on the topfloor with great views if mediëval Rome. For a businss trip, not a bad option, compared to most B&B locations in the near area of this hotel, unless you prefer guesthouses (with less service)

Very good location
Great location, good bathroom and bed
The Genio hotel is very centrally located, central Rome within walking distance. The rooms had no view at all, but the breakfast was on a rooftop with great views over the city. The breakfast buffet itself was nothing special, poor for a 4 star hotel and the staff not very friendly. The room was good, except it was dark and no view. The bathroom was large and looked new and clean. Comfortable bed. Good hotel for overnight stay close to many attractions, but nothing more.
