"PinkCoco Gili Air is about 12mins stroll from Gili Air harbour (turn left when arrive). I was welcomed by spectacular staffs at the reception, Putu, Hilda and Olga! They are always there to assist with any inquiries and suggestions about my snorkelling trips and other itineraries that I inquired. Restaurant staffs was also extremely warm and brought the fabulous Indonesian hospitality and always made me feel comfortable when I dine! I booked a cottage and the room was very comfortably big with high ceiling (atap houses style). Size was big with good tv reception. The toilet was also huge in Balinese style as there are straw atap/ceiling style. Kudos to the staff team! A lot of corporation and teamwork and keep up the excellent work! A point to note that all Gili islands do not really have a concrete road as it is all sand, so please don’t use bags with wheels!"

"Villa Karang is very close to the Gili Air harbor which meant we didn't have to pay a horse & buggy to take us to the hotel (they charge a fortune, 150K IDR for a 10 min ride??!). They didn't have our room ready just yet but gave us a free welcome drink and a cool refreshing cloth (we'd just hiked Rinjani so we were filthy). Within 10 min we were in the room which was very comfortable. Nice little porch, awesome outdoor shower. Only complaint about the rooms is that the walls are *VERY* thin, so we could hear everything our neighbors said or did. If you're looking for a hotel where you can just walk right out on to the beach, I'd recommend staying on either the East or North side of the island. We had to bike for about 10-15 minutes before we got to a good lounging beach with snorkeling. The harbor is packed with boats and dive centers trying to snag customers so it wasn't a relaxing location. We'd leave after breakfast and then make our way to either the E or N beaches to stay all day, returning after dinner to the hotel. "

"I would 100% recommend this place to stay in Gili air. If you are travelling solo especially but even if you aren't the beds in the dorm room are the best hostel experience I've ever had. You feel super private because of the mosquito nets and the hanging beds rock you gently to sleep! The only downside which has nothing to do with the hotel, is the call to prayer which is rather Loud and woke me up at 4:30 every morning, however that is nothing some good earplugs couldn't fix. Also the food Is incredible especially the pancakes which are included in your complimentary breakfast and you can't leave without trying the golden latté! It's the best one I've ever had. If I ever come back to gili air I will definitely choose to stay here again! "

"I never do this but I extended more than 2x of my original booking until I met other guests who did the same. This place is one of the highlights of my trip in Indo. It's so good that you just keep extending and not want to leave. The owner Kyle is hilarious and just a really chill guy to hang out with. I wouldn't hesitate going back again. I had so much fun and made new friends that I met up with later on in different countries. It attracts friendly people of all backgrounds. I can only hope other hostels are as good as this one but I don't see how that's possible... thanks for the great time I'll never forget!"

"This bungalow was VERY basic (no furniture besides a bed and thin-walled armoire). The sliding to the bathroom had its own lock which made us wonder if it was not safe to leave unlocked at night, because the bathroom rood was not fully covered. The rock shower was cool, but AC in the room not very effective since there were holes in the walls (on purpose--by design). The breakfast however was great and you can't beat the ocean being right down the path, with plentiful cabanas and pillow seats for lounging! Staff was very nice for both nights of our stay. This bungalow is on the quieter end of Gili Air but an easy walk to the busier parts with more restaurants and shops. "

"Mola Mola is a fantastic resort! The location is perfect; I would say its situated on the best part of the island. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The free bicycles are a lovely touch. The pool however had a bit of a murky green color and not very inviting. Then again, who needs a pool when you have the ocean on your doorstep! Ample choices for breakfast. I was foolish enough to forget my bag containing my phone and all essential travel documents while heading to Gili Air. I only realized when I was on the boat. A few phone calls and low and behold my bag was brought to the harbor in Gili Air and shipped to Padang Bai on the next boat. You can imagine my relief when a perfectly packed parcel containing my bag and all its contents was handed over to me a couple of hours later! Thank you Mola Mola for all the effort. A shining example of caring for your guests. A small tip for fellow travelers; the Lumbung suites are lovely but not very practical in the heat. There's only a 1 ton split AC which of course can't possibly cool 2 floors. Also the design is not practical with closet space and bathroom on the ground floor and sleeping arrangements on the top floor. We had initially booked the Lumbung suite but moved to the Deluxe Suite which is fabulous! Highly recommended. "

"Actually we were arranged by Agoda for this hotel just 2 days b/f our trip this time. But i would like to say! It is our super lucky to be chooses for this hotel in our last stop of this trip in Gili air. Gili air is just a Good island for vocation... busy street w/ bars and shops but not that noisy. And Lagoon hotel is located in the most bustling place of this island. But inside of the hotel, it is quiet and nice view w/ houses and garden... nice swimming pool surrounded each room, seems we are totally in another beatiful world w/ trees and birds singing everywhere, also in the night, we can sit outside of the rooms but in the pool, looking up, stars are in the sky, shining and bright. What a beautiful view... Really nice and deep impression trip for our last 2 days stopping in Gili Air, due to this hotel. We, all of our 7 people would like to stay there if we have chance to go there again. "
