Best place in all of the Gilis, the staff here went above and beyond to make me feel at home, always up for a chat and to recommend things. The facilities where fantastic, large clean rooms with comfortable bed and open air bathroom allowing me to feel the real Indonesian vibes. Breakfast each morning was above the average standard 10/10 would recommend to everyone

Nice and (mostly) Quiet”
Because the hotel is set back from the main road and doesn't appear to cater to the loud, party crowd, it was a relatively peaceful stay. There were the occasional boisterous guests but they didn't stay long. The staff at Gili One was friendly and very accommodating and helpful. I made a few requests which were promptly responded to. Gili One has free bikes for guests but it's worth spending a little more to rent a better bike. The yellow Ofo bikes ride pretty well. I was happy with the one I rented for a wek.

Very nice & clean rooms. Warm infinity pool with loungers. It’s about a 5 minute bike ride to the beach / Main Street and the resort lends bikes for free. Also about a 20 minute walk from the ferry. A couple suggestions : the road leading up to the hotel was not very clean and we saw the same garbage on it day after day. Maybe not the resorts fault but still affected our overall impression while walking to the resort. Also the hot water tank was leaking in our bathroom. Overall excellent hotel and we would definitely stay again. The staff were amazing and very helpful.

The hotel met my expectation! Spacious room, semi outdoor bathroom, tropical vibes, best service from the staff, hot shower, clean & nice pool with jacuzzi ❤️ I was the only guest during my stay made me feel like having a private hotel 😍 breakfast is good, free bike for the guest. However it is a bit far & about 20 minutes walk from the jetty. The wifi was poor connection. The cable tv was down. Thank God i could manage to play Youtube on TV by mirrorcast appa 😁 I then booked for more one night to stay as i super loooove with this small area, green and beautiful hotel ❤️❤️❤️❤️

It was really relaxing and peaceful . Our host whose name is Mr. Jimmy was very friendly and took out his precious time and accompanied us showing us around the island and places where we wanted to go. So will highly recommend this hotel and location to my friends and family.

We enjoyed our stay very much and were sad to leave. The staff is incredibly nice and polite. The pool was very nice. The cottages were clean, the bed was really comfortable. Breakfast options were delicious. The only downside is that it’s a little far away from the main street, however, this is only a minor issue since they offer free bike rental. Would definitely go back here and recommend to all of my friends! Thanks Gili One!

This is my second night staying in this hotel. I immediately extended my stay as soon as i enter the hotel room. Clean & spacious room, free bike for guest, good simple breakfast, beautiful & clean pool, small tropical vibes hotel ❤️❤️❤️ I DO recommend you to stay here as im in love with this hotel 😍

Our only complaint is the fact that we were offered bikes to use but when one of them was stolen, we were asked to pay for it. This policy was not made clear when we were offered use of the bikes but we felt obligated to pay for it as we feared the staff may end up paying for it otherwise. There is a growing problem with bike theft on this island, so if you use one, lock it up and leave it in a place with plenty of light. If you take a hotel one, use a ratty old one as it’s less likely to be stolen. I must say the staff felt terrible passing this penalty on to us, and they were fantastic throughout our stay so we can’t speak highly enough of them. This was a management policy that disappointed us greatly as we had been careful to lock the bikes up

Decent Budget Option”
Our trip to Gili Island was just for one day hence our requirement was for a budget friendly accomodation with no extravagent bells and whistles. Gili One fit the bill. + Friendly and Helpful Staff + Neat and clean accomodation (atleast from the inside) + Decent breakfast + Good sizeable room with a clean bathroom. + Walking distance to the beach and nearby restaurants and entertainment - Location was a turn off (especially the outside hotel area): dark and dirty setting.

This was a great little hotel on Gili trawangan. It’s a little off the main beach road, but turns out it’s super close to a lot of the best restaurants on the island and it’s easy to get to the west side of the island if you want to. It was nice to have a little private villa with an outdoor shower, and the pool was really stand-out. The only thing it could’ve used was a fridge to keep water cool, but they would switch out for fresh cold water which was nice in the heat. Would definitely visit again!
