Fantastic Haven in Paradise, real value for money”
This was our first trip to Gili Trawangan so didn't know what to expect. The island is enchanting without dogs and petrol driven vehicles. We loved Gili Palms from the moment we arrived and saw the pool. You literally fall out of bed and into the pool. The huge day beds outside each room are comfortable places to hang out and eat or read. Loved the out door showers in each room. This hotel is just off the main road behind another resort so you are away from the constant cidomo traffic but close enough to all the action. If you want the noisy night spots they are within walking distance. Best thing is watching the sunrise on the beach at the end of the lane. We will definitely come back to this hotel as we checked out some of the others that we had considered and this was better. Friendly guests and wonderful staff who literally run errands for you. Thanks lovely Joni. We were the only kiwis and no Aussies around. Many Europeans from Spain, France, Britain, Norway, etc. all very friendly and happy to chat. Gili T is the new place to holiday so best to go now before it is spoilt by more crowds arriving. I imagine it is how Kuta was before tourism turned it into a commercial nightmare.

Best stay on Gili”
We were absolutely happy with our stay at the Gili Palms Resort. The beds were the most comfortable ones in this price category we had in months travelling Bali and Gilis. The Resort is far enough from the mosque (we barely heard anything) and the pubs/nightlife, to not be disturbed by noises. But you can easily walk to the market, harbour and the pubs if you're up for it. Or rent one of the push bikes. The staff was absolutely lovely and attentive. No matter what time of the day, they were always very helpful and friendly. No matter if we needed an extra blanket in the middle of the night or had questions about the island. The room had a big fridge that was very well equipped, prices of the minibar were reasonable. The breakfast, which was included, was good, lunch/dinner was not available, as far as we know. We can definitely recommend to stay here. We will be back.

Great Staff”
We stayed in the hotel for 1 nite and we have problems to reach location using google maps and waze. We are lost, but the staff are too friendly and kind, they pick up us with motorcycle and bike. they really saved us.. the staff with long hair (man) are great, all the staff are friendly and helpful. location near beach, Rooms are clean and nice, breakfast is good, great lombok coffee and noodle.. will stay here next trip to Gili trawangan..Thanks to all kind staff of Gili Palms.. two tumbs up!

Quiet resort just outside of central Gili T”
We initially had a hard time finding the location as there is another "gili palms resort" on Google maps that led us to someone's private home but as long as you type in the correct address, it's easy to find. Pros: - very friendly and accommodating staff - good night's sleep (cannot hear the music or noise from down the street) - beautiful pool with shade cover - bike rentals (50k/day) - fully stocked minibar with water, drinks and snacks that around the same price as convenience stores - average breakfast cons: - outside of the main street of gili T (about 1 km from the ferry terminal) - street is poorly lit and bumpy as it's not paved (bring your phone light) This is a good place to stay if you don't mind walking a little bit further to get to the action.

Great stay! Good location and nice people”
What can I say, it was a really great stay and the Gili Palms made a good impression from the beginning. The ownere are very nice and friendly. Rooms are basic but ok and clean (you will love the fridge!). Nice swimming pool just in front of every room. Good location, too. To the main road (and the beach) of Gili T it's just a 1 minute walk. Breakfast was good, too. I would definitely stay there again! Best regards, Marcel.

Nice, clean and a little off the beaten path”
Gili Palms was a good place to stay for our time in Gili T. We got a great price and it included a good breakfast. The pool area is very nice and relaxing and the rooms are spacious with good bathrooms. We had some issues with our A/C unit, which was not ideal. However, another friend stayed in the room next door and had no issues at all! It is a little north of the main strip which is great to avoid all the noise and craziness but the little path leading up to the hotel is dark at night. That being said, we did not feel unsafe just needed a light to illuminate the rocky path.

Hidden gem”
Stayed here with some other friends where we booked 3 bedrooms, 1 for each couple. It's not in the centre where the wild party is happening but only about 8 - 10 mins walk away from where the ferry lands. We liked the place because it was away from the main road and it's very quiet. The pool is nice to take a dip at night but during the day I prefer the beach which is just about 1 min walk away and there's a convenient shop in between. On the opposite end of the road is an eatery which also belongs to the same resort owner. All the foods are great but try the burgers, they're absolutely superb! The breakfast served at the resort itself are also really good. Don't bother buying beers or other snacks from outside as those in the mini bars are priced exactly the same as those in the convenient shops and they're replenished daily. The staffs are also a great wonderful bunch of guys who are very friendly and helpful. I will not stay elsewhere in Gili T on my next visit.

At the quiet end of the island with a great pool”
helpful staff. clean room with a nice half outside shower. the location of the hotel is at the north of the island (near good heart hotel), and behind the main strip away from the beach. many maps do not accurately show the position of the hotel so if you want to be in the action then don't stay here. if you want to enjoy gili t but without the noise and for a good price then stay here! really nice pool and great day bed, perfect for reading.

This hotel was in a great location even though you had to go up a small dirt road to get to it. But a lot of places in Gili are like that. The rooms are small but clean. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was good. I didnt like the roofless bathroom though and would have liked a kettle. Thats the only complaint I have and would recommend here for staying. Nice pool also.

Quiet and elegant”
We were looking for a comfortable place a bit away from the party that is main street Trawangan, and this place was exactly what we were looking for. Of course, you can still hear the calls to prayer. I understand that there are only a few rooms with hot water, but ours was very well appointed.

Good value for money”
This is a good hotel, located about 15 minutes from where the boat drops you, so off the Main Street which is good if you don’t want it too noisy. It’s only a 3 minute walk to the beach and the best snorkelling area. The rooms are fairly basic but clean and staff were friendly. We didnt pay much so i would say it’s pretty good value for Money, however we also stayed at the Jali Hotel which is down the road and slightly more expensive but I think worth the price difference.

Hidden away gem”
Stayed here as a group of three, received a lovely warm welcome from the staff and a complimentary orange, which was very refreshing after walking the 10minutes from the boat to the hostel. The walk is defiantly worth it l, place is a hidden gem took away towards the north of the island. The room was a good size, with AC and an outside bathroom. The room had mini bar including food, similar prices to the locals as well. Swimming pool area is very nice, many loungers to chill around the pool. Plenty of choices for breakfast from local to international. Great laundry service and bike hire. Definitely hire a bike and ride around the island.

LOVED this hotel!”
Had such a good time while staying here, the staff checked us in fast and were very helpful throughout our stay, they helped us organise a snorkelling trip and hire bikes. The rooms were large and cleaned daily to a good standard. The full sized fridge was fully stocked and very reasonably priced. The pool was large enough and had plenty of comfortable sun loungers to use. It was just outside all of the action but we preferred to be able to keep our distance and it was nice and quiet. The bars up that end of the island are more chilled out and we preferred them anyway.

Very clean, nice space and absolutely a resort after a day at the beach. Swimmingpool is heaven. Staff helpful and friendly. Location is fine. quite a stroll from the busy centre.

Hotel away from the main street”
We stayed 3 days at Gili Palms, and are sad to say it did not live up to the expectations. The staff was not service minded, an example being when we pointed out that the pool was dirty, and one of the staff went and "cleaned" to pool for 2 minutes, before going back to watch TV. Not OK! When we arrived the hot water did not work, and the staff just said "oh yeah" it does not work when we pointed it out - no compensation or excuse was offered. The hotel is placed away from the hustle and bustle, which is nice, and the rooms have the basics covered including fridge (noisy though) and safe. The breakfast is really poor, and no other food is available. We would probably not return though.

Good location”
Nice bungalow. The swimming pool water is not a salty type. Eventhough it is not facing a beach, the beach is just within a walking distant only. 1 minute walking distant to the beach. The cafe only provides simple breakfast, like a waffle, toasted bread, etc. The bungalow is clean. If you love cats, they are a few very fat and cute cats roaming around the area all the time and they wont go anywhere because these cats are raised by the hotel owner/workers there.

This was a wonderful place to stay! Close to the beach, specifically near the best place for snorkeling. It's not right on the beach, about a 5 min walk away. If you're traveling solo, the dirt road leading to the hospital is dark and it can feel a little unsafe walking back. It's close to where the bars and restaurants are, 10 minute walk, but it's not in the middle of the action if that's what you are looking for. The area is very quiet and relaxing. The pool is amazing!!! Amazing! I almost forgot to go to the beach. And the staff was so great and friendly! Overall, aside from the dark road (at night) that I had to walk up, this place was perfect!

very helpful and friendly staff. rooms were big andd very clean. the pool was in perfect condition. they take your breakfast to the room and they can help you with all the bookings for tours. is just 1 min away from the main road.
