Great place to stay!”
This hotel is amazing, they have a great location and fluent-english-speaking staff. The hotel is clean enough for me and makes me more comfortable. Its very close to one of the Metro station and also nearby the family mart, which good for your breakfast or snack. The room was small, but more than enough for one person. Overall, its great hotel!
The hotel is a bit old but still clean. There is a modern laundry facility behind the reception area which provides convenience. Staff can speak English well and are friendly. Room is a bit too small though even for a single occupant. Not much space to walk from the toilet to the bed. Located near metro stations but the nearest ones have no lift. 15 mins walk to Ginza city.
Very convenient location”
Overall a satisfactory stay. The location of the hotel is good considering the location of the subway station. It is also within walking distance to Tsukiji fish market. Plenty of good food nearby. Walkable to Hatchobori station for direct train to Tokyo Disney Resort.
Ideal for Tsukiji Fish Market”
This will be a good choice for you if you want to visit Tsukiji Fish Market in the very early morning. It's only 15-20 minutes walk to Tsukiji while many others have to take a taxi. The room is small (just like other hotels in Japan) but still very convenient.
Worth for your money”
I have spent three nights there, It is such a good place if you find a place to rest around Ginza and Tsukiji. Very easy to access Tokyo metro, Lawson, Sunkus and local Isagaya restaurants are around.
Very central, price value excellent, clean”
Me and a friend stayed there for New Years. For 100 USD it was really the only thing available in an central area that ensured us to recover well from New Years. The single room is small but new and clean. For Wifi in the room you need to rent a wireless modem (just leaving a deposit), otherwise you will have just LAN in the room.
Very friendly staff”
Hotel is located at quiet side of Ginza, which is good to be away from the buzz in the city. At the corner of the hotel very cheap eatery where I can get delicious soba for 300yen. Walk about 15 mins to Tsukuji market.
Small room but excellent location”
The room is small but it's like that in Tokyo. The hotel is very close to two different metro stations. Only a minute walk to one of them and it's quite quiet and cosy. The staff was helpful and friendly. We will recommend this hotel to others.
Review of Ginza Capital Main Hotel ”
Ginza Captial Main Hotel is located in a very convenient location, which is about a 15-20 mins walk to the Ginza Shopping District, as well as the Tsukiji Market. There are also 2 subway lines nearby, making it easily accessible to travel within Tokyo. Hotel staff are very friendly and hospitable, always willing to provide a helping hand, making my stay in the hotel a very pleasant one. The hotel room is also well-equipped.
Good Tokyo Value”
excellent front desk service, walk to eateries/izakayas in minutes... even within reasonable walking distance to tsukiji fish market! sure the room is compact, but for the price - in tokyo - it was fine.
Nice Hotel and Great Location”
It is the great location of hotel 3 minute walk from Tsukiji Station (Hibiya line). Close to Tsukiki market and about 10-15 minutes walk to the Ginza shopping street. Staff are very helpful. Provided internet cable for use with notebook in the room. Great. Thank you.
Ok hotel. Value for money”
Good location, can walk to Ginza area....quite near to metro station as well. Staff are rather cold and often lacks knowledge when asking them about direction or luggage delivery questions....
HOTEL TOO OLD”
check out time to early 10.00 if over ...charge will impose hourly.
This was our first time to stay at the Ginza Capital Main Hotel and we were very happy we did, for its just a great locations for using as a base in Tokyo. Great small restaurants close by to grab a delicious meals and with the underground entrances at literally every corner. We couldn't have asked for more
Not the best location to start sightseeing”
Unless you have some business dealings in the area, I would recommend elsewhere. Not because there is something wrong with the hotel but it is not so convenient to be lugging your bags and the metro line in front of the hotel doesn't go to Tokyo station, transfer to another line is required. Breakfast is nice with a choice of western or Japanese food, and there is laundry service available. Room in my view is rather small with a single bed. Not good if you have a large suite case (but that is quite common in Japanese business hotels anyway). The neighbourhood is very quiet. No activities nearby except Tsukiji market about 800m away.
Could be better...”
well, so, so... the staff was not sp helpful, we stayed 2 nights but different rooms due to different reservations. Staff could have taken the inniciative to move our luggage to new room... But at the end it was so complicated that when we arrived 2nd night I thought the reservation was waived... Breakfast is ok but not exceptional. Location is good by taxi but not so by subway. I was expecting a bit more.
It's been greet and excellent staying at your hotel”
On my last day the duty staff 6 am was not concern on my transportation coz I ask for a taxi and he just doesn't mind or care if I got the taxi or ride on time going to tcat maybe next pls show concern of the transportation of your guest tyvm
Very clean and good location! ”
Everything is up to stander! Only thing we are not sure is the breakfast at lobby. It closes at 10 AM but they packed everything away at 9:30. ( even the coffee machine!) Feel being rushed out because they want to close it at 10 o'clock sharp!!
Good value for money”
We stayed at Ginza Capital during the cheery blossom season and the rates were still remarkable affordable for a hotel nicely situated near Ginza and Tsukiji. It is right next to a metro station (Shintomicho). The rate also comes with an excellent breakfast. The room is decently sized by Tokyo standards, is very clean (as per Japanese standards). and comes with all the key facilities and toiletries. Service is cordial and decent but don't expect them to go the extra mile such as calling a cab for you (reasonable considering this is not a five star hotel). All in all, this is a hotel which I would be happy to stay at again. The only downside is the impending move of Tsukiji fish market which would put a dent to the attractiveness of the hotel's location.
Their room is quite spacious compared to other hotel in Tokyo. They provide free shuttle bus service to Tokyo station for the guest. But in terms of location its a bit far from Jr station. We need to walk almost 750 m to reach the hotel with the heavy luggages.
