Great location and pricing,,,”
We extended our stay in Tokyo and needed a hotel for 2 days. We were able to booked a hotel in Ginza Grand Hotel. The location is awesome. Central to Subway and shopping district. A few blocks from famous fish market as well. Cost for the room is very reasonable $109 and $159. The room with 2 beds was much larger than 1 bed. The 1 bed room was very small. Since we were hardly in the hotel, it was ok. If you need the space, don't get the 1 bed room. In addition, even though we were in a non smoking room, you can still smell the cigarette smoke in the hallway. For the location and pricing, I would reserve it again...but only the letter room. We were able to take the subway from Ginza to Narita airport...1 hour and 15 minutes direct. Great plus.

Everything is perfect!”
Perfect location which is the centre of Ginza, but you won't hear any noise I the room. The room is a little bit small, but very clean and well-organised. There is only 2 mins by walk from the hotel to the Shimbashi station (Tokyo metro) and 10 mins to the Ginza station. The price is relatively low compared to the prefect location. This hotel is one of the best choices if you are going to stay in Tokyo.

Good location hotel”
Hotel Ginza Grand was located near Shimbashi station exit 3 Ginza Line. It was a splendid stay as it is near Ginza. We paid about USD 160 per night. The room was small but comfortable for 2. I stayed at Daiichi Hotel and Anex, their rooms were much bigger compared to Ginza Grand.

Best location in Ginza money can buy! ”
I was pleasantly surprised by the location of the hotel. The size of the room is your typical Japanese sized room so for one person who had 2 large suitcases and other bags, it was tight but manageable. I can imagine if there were another person, it would still be ok. This hotel's location is unbeatable for the price. 3 mins walk across the junction from the hotel takes you to Exit 3 of the Ginza Line (Shimbashi Station), 5 mins walk takes you to the Shimbashi JR station and Yurikamome line for Odaiba, 10 mins walk takes you to the station with Ginza/Hibiya Lines/Marunouchi lines. 5 mins walk brings you to the main Ginza strip. I will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!!

really handy location and nice part of Tokyo”
Really enjoyed a few nights here. The hotel is just a few minutes walk away from the Shinbashi Station, a really handy station for doing lots of travel to different parts of Tokyo. The staff were really helpful and a number of them also speak English. Don't be fooled by the 'free drink' coupon, it's only for soft drinks in their under-utilised area near the lobby. There's a combini at the bottom floor which is naturally very convenient. Ginza was a really nice part of Tokyo to stay in and there are a ton of excellent restaurants nearby, mostly nearby in an area we dubbed 'eat street'. Lots of options to choose from and Ginza also has excellent shopping. A walk to the Tsukiji fish market was also nice to do from the hotel if you don't mind a bit of walking.

The location was very good”
The hotel is in a walking distance from Ginza station - very comfortable for travelling. A convenient store is in the same building, and shopping area is very near from the hotel. It seemed comparatively safe at night as well. Since I booked in a hurry I only had no other choice than a smoking room. But when I got there and asked if I could switch it to non-smoking room they changed it right away. It was so lucky for me. Staffs were all nice too. I may use the hotel again for the next visit.

Great Hotel”
For the value, this is great place to stay while in Tokyo. It's located right at Ginza and only a few blocks away from the JR train station. It's surrounded with great restaurants from reasonable to moderate prices. There's also a Family Mart right at the hotel building and a 7-11 across the street. The on,y thing that was disappointing was the hotel fee of $200.00 that I had to pay extra while checking in.

Nice, affordable, convenient location”
Nice and relaxed hotel amid the bustle of Ginza. It is close to Shinbashi station if you don't get lost. Ginza station is also not too far away, about 10 to 15 minute walk. Room is small but I was always out anyway. Familymart on the same building, Mos Cafe and Hooters just across the road. Friendly hotel staff, I was able to check in early.

Good value for money”
The room (around 30 square meters) is way bigger than most hotels I’ve stayed in Tokyo, and we (three in total) were able to fit in quite comfortably. There is this lounge in the lobby (accessible by hotel guests) that is a nice area to relax a little - best part is it also serves free drinks. The location is quite convenient (only a short walk from both the JR and the MRT), and you can pretty much go anywhere without much hassle using the subway lines. We even walked on foot to the Tokyo station and the Tsukiji Market. We highly recommend staying here.

Better than expected ”
Room was clean & comfortable with proper Queen size bed but walkway narrow like most Tokyo hotels. Bathroom larger than expected with good amenities provided. Staff were helpful & friendly. Location is what I like most about this hotel, near JR & subway station, Ginza shopping area & Fish market all within walking distance. Easy access to Haneda airport monorail line which is just 1 station away from JR Shimbashi station, travel time 40 min to Haneda. Will definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit.

Great location, great price!”
Love the location with such price. Might have trouble finding it the first time if you take subway; the Shibashi station can sometimes get you confused. So close to Ginza shopping district. You would just turn left and walk 1 or 2 blocks. The wifi password is written in the room. Very handy. There is however a Family Mart at ground floor, in which they don't speak English. Just need to be careful on them. Stayed for 5 nights. The lobby staff are friendly in helping (this is true). The room is small. Had 2 suitcases and can barely walk if they are all open. But the room is clean.

Excellent Location”
The hotel is right at the end of Ginza area, walking distance to a few major subway and train stations - Shimbashi, Ginza, Shiodome. Also near to interesting places like Tsukiji Market, Hamarikyu Garden. The upkeep of the hotel is good.

Great location. Price is too expensive. ”
The location. It was really clean. It was a bit small, but that's tokyo for you. Only English channel was cnn, and it was only half the time it was English. Very close to shinbashi station. Very close to ginza main strip.

Reasonably priced hotel in a central location ”
For the price we are paying for 2 rooms in Tokyo around Christmas, we cannot really complain about the price. The Hotel is centrally located, clean and very quiet. Staff are courteous as in most Japanese hotels and this hotel is close to many amenities.

Exceptional”
I got one room (i think the basic size) with a larger bed (queen-ish size mattress). Room is very cramped but I'm used to it and was not an issue. I was traveling alone with 1 medium sized suitcase and 1 backpack. However, any larger suitcases or an abundance of suitcases would probably be difficult to manage; thus, I recommend a larger room. I stayed two nights and opted not to have my room cleaned because I felt it was unnecessary. Individual bathroom was small but had a bathtub. They provide amenities such as basic shaving gel, basic shaving razors, toothbrushes, towels, q-tips, hair clip? some sort of plastic hair clip, shower towel (for body wash), hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and facial cleansing foam. They provide small instant coffee packs (it may vary on number of days stayed but my room had 2), roasted green teapacks, regular green tea packs, two teacups, two teaspoons, sugar packs, creamer packs, two small-meduimish drinking glasses, box tissue. There is also a humidifier/air purifier, individual air conditioning control unit, a mini fridge, 4 total 100W outlets. If you come early on your check in date, they will store your bags for the day; the same applies to the check out day. I had to pay a minimal amount when checking out. tax of about $3 for two nights. Limited English speaking staff but manageable Staff was extremely friendly and helpful Great value. Regular price was estimated at $180 per night; whereas the Agoda price was $110 per night. These are rough estimates.

Best location and good value for money”
The location (Ginza and Shimbashi) is very accessible from Haneda Airport (Just one ride subway) and very close from subway station. Also, most of the restaurants around the area are opened until midnight or morning. The facilities are simple and good, however the single room only has one small pillow... I wish there are at least two even if it’s single room.

A very convenient hotel”
Location is great, with its price. It is conveniently located in the heart of Ginza. Food is not a problem, many restos and cafes around it. Convenience stores are all around, in fact one is located within the building. Definitely a plus. Staff are great.

Great place to stay in Ginza district”
We enjoyed the hotel and would stay there again if in Tokyo again. It is a large room relative to Japanese hotels and it met all our needs. We did not eat in the hotel so we gave the food/dinng category a 5 since it must have been good fro the cost and the menus looked comprehensive.

Strategy location for solo traveler”
I found this to be a strategic location for solo travel as just 100 meters away is already the Shimbashi Station which is connected to multiple subway and railway, convenient to travel around Tokyo. Good restaurant for food but is abit pricey since it is at the central area of Tokyo. For foreigner who does not speak or understand Japanese is a challenge to find food, but still there are a few restaurants that provide English menu for selection
