My experience with this hotel is excellent. Fast check in and check out. I booked thru Agoda. T"he location of the hotel is accessible to everything- shopping and eating, subway station (ginza itchome entrance and exit) infront of the hotel, while ginza sta and ginza higashi are a few blocks away from the hotel, There's no dull momemt at ginza. We really enjoyed our stay at this Hotel. It was well located in Ginza and quiet enough while being close to the happening areas. We very much enjoyed the provided amenities such as toiletries and the super informative tablet with local tourist information. One complaint is that there was hair on the bathroom floor upon first arriving. Coming from the US, this isn't a ...

We were traveling for our honeymoon and wanted something nice but not too expensive. Even though it may be pricier than some other hotels, you pay for the awesome location (sheltered all the way to Shimbashi station, and connected to Ginza station. And just one stop away from Tokyo station). The guest relations staff were really helpful in making reservations for us an...

The room is very spacious, clean, quiet and new. It is conveniently located 2 mins walk to the nearest (H11) Hatchobori Metro station. Transfer from Narita Airport is a brisk via Airport bus for 1000 yen (1hr) to/from Ginza station. Travelling time from the H11 to Ginza is about 15 mins. There is an elevator at C6 (next to Starbucks) at Ginza station for those who carr...

We really enjoyed Japan. A big plus also staying here in Ginza Mitsui. Modern rooms and courteous staffs. The room is small 20sq m but very clean and complete w all amenities. Tried lunch buffet for only ¥ 2580 it was good . Not so many food but special ones . Accross mistuskoshi and matsuya dept stores and 2 mins walk to Ginza strip many stores like Zara Uniqlo Gu App...

I enjoyed my stay at the Mitsui Garden Ginza hotel tremendously because the hotel is very comfortable and it's very new. The hotel is very close to the Shimbashi station so you can travel via the Ginza, Hibiya, and JR Line. There are also many shops and restaurants nearby so you won't be lonely. I look forward to my next business trip so I can stay there again.

I enjoyed staying in Sunroute Ginza. It’s actually located walking distance from Tokyo Station and close to Ginza Main Street Ginza 1. Clean toilets, comfortable bed. Toiletries from Shiseido . However , there isn’t much TV channel for me to watch and most channel you’ve got to pay. Rooms are small but it’s normal in Japan. Internet WiFi connection is good and I never ...

We took the Narita Express Train from Narita airport, we got off, after 60 minutes, at the central train station ("TOKYO") and we took the Yamanote line for two stops to the Shimbashi Station. The Shimbashi Station is a 3-5 minute walk from the hotel (it seemes there is a slower train - "rapid" - too that runs directly from the airport to the Shimabashi station). Just ...

We have wonderful time at Ginza, hotel has great location, next to great, reasonable Ramen Noodle, small boutique shops like La Casta bath store Starbucks, McDonald. Same street 2 blocks up are high end stores like Louie Vuitton, Prada, Apple. Matsuya Ginza (huge dept store) and Ginza Core for $ exchange. This is definitely must hotel, reasonable rate if booked few ...

It’s a business hotel in Tokyo, so, like other hundreds in town, its rooms are small but but very clean, quiet, friendly, and super duper convenient! 7 min walk to Tokyo metro Yurakucho Line (Ginza-itchome), 1 min to Tokyo metro Ginza line (Kyobashi), and Toei Asakusa line(Takaracho) is right next to the exit. A family mart supplies you whenever you’re in need everyday...

Our second stay during this summer vacation. We stayed at Tokyo Stay Ginza for 4 nights, checked out to go to Kyoto for a few nights before returning for another 4 nights. The hotel was very kind to allow us to leave our bulky luggage while we were away. Staff on duty spoke good English and were very helpful. Loved the washer/dryer in the room. Location is excellent - ...

We extended our stay in Tokyo and needed a hotel for 2 days. We were able to booked a hotel in Ginza Grand Hotel. The location is awesome. Central to Subway and shopping district. A few blocks from famous fish market as well. Cost for the room is very reasonable $109 and $159. The room with 2 beds was much larger than 1 bed. The 1 bed room was very small. Since...

I was staying here when typhoon hagibis hits, and this area is perfectly safe. With 3 convenience stores around, we managed to buy daily needs easily. And china garden restaurant opens all day long when the typhoon hits. the only problem is its location is a bit far from the center of the city, but I enjoyed the 20 minutes walk to ginza.

We stayed at Monterey Ginza Hotel for the last four nights of our honeymoon trip in Japan. Great value booking through agoda.com. Reception staff all spoke adequate English for us to get by. The hotel has style. It is very clean and the rooms, while being compact, were by no means the smallest we had in Japan. I was impressed with the location, so close to the subway...

This hotel is really value for money. It is situated in the middle of Ginza prime area. Ginza street name runs in order so it is very easy to locate. The rooms are new and clean. Haven't got time to venture within the hotel though. Room though is not so big but is cosy enough for couple. There is no wardrobe. Just one approx. 30cm pole extended for you to hang c...

Best of these hybrid (Capsule hotel + Hostel) types of accommodation. If you don't like hostel, capsule hotel or expensive hotel room. Pros Cheap, very close to the station, middle of the ginza where you can look around, lends you many types of usb related cables to charge (no worries if you are from a foreign country), no need to climb inside the capsule so it's ...

This hotel is so good, I want to make this my regular stay whenever I'm back in Tokyo. Ginza is a great neighborhood, the staff is amazing (they remember your name!) -- everyone makes you feel at home. Drinks, food, everything at this hotel is delicious. I'm looking forward to my next stay. Thank you all at Ginza Hotel for the amazing service and experience.

Love everything from the moment we stepped in. Building's brand new and so are everything! Although it's small for two persons, the room is well-kept and bed is nice and firm. There should be 4 pillows given that the pillows are rather flat. Amenities are all provided for, including sleeping robes! But there should be more hangers and hooks to hang our clothes since th...

It has been my favourite for the past few years. One of the oldest and prestigious 5 star hotel in Ginza area. It is situated close to the Imperial palace which makes it even more exclusive. Service needless to speak is good, 5 star hotel at a 6 star service level.

Excellent location, within walking distance to ginza and tokyo station. Easy to access from airport, and to tourist destinations too as its within minutes of walk to either ginza or asakusa line. The hotel provides most of your basic needs, however can get free drinks and a selection of teas from downstairs restaurant before midnight. Room is nice and clean, comfortabl...

It is very clode to Central Ginza, about 15 minutes of walk. Same to Teskiji Fish Market... Located by the River, greatest view since its lowest floor is on 32nd floor. And Tokyo Metro very close to hotel. Behind hotel there is a ...

I loved this hotel. My friends stayed at an expensive Ginza hotel with no internet, while I stayed here at half the price with internet, and hot baths for relaxing. The hardest thing was finding the hotel, but it was only a 15-20 minute walk to the Ginza and was SO worth the opportunity to relax in a hot bath after my long flight. The rooms are small, but this is usual...

It was a great stay in APA Hotel Ginza-Kyobashi, the location is great, from Hanadae airport, you can just take the pink colour Asakusa subway line to Takaracho, taking exit A4, you can reach the hotel by walking in 3 minutes. The other station is yellow Ginza line, Kyobashi station, taking exit 1, you can reach the hotel by walking in 3 minutes too. My stay this time ...

This hotel is very easy to get to from Haneda airport l, and staying here was a great kickoff to our time in Japan. Clean rooms with nice touches everywhere. Anyone complaining about the room size just isn't used to Ginza ...

Stayed here for a night before heading towards Kyoto. Great that it's near Shinagawa stat. Located near Shinbashi stat (5 mins walk), this hotel can be used as a convenient base to explore the nearby attractions by cycling (Tsukiji fish market, Ginza area, Tokyo Bay, Tokyo tower etc.) A clean and simple hotel with helpful staff. Overall, a reasonably priced hotel for t...

This hotel offered excellent value for the date I happen to book. Rooms were tiny but cheaper than the rest on Agoda search. It turned out to be a pleasant stay. The Ginza Moegi has way bigger rooms but at way higher prices as we stayed there as well. The Akane is just a smaller size, less newer version of the Moegi sister hotel right next door, but still quite ade...

ok so location is in ginza. ginza is pretty center to all of the big neighborhoods in tokyo and the subway stop is like right outside the hostel so this is super convenient. ginza is a little upscale so I didn't like it personally, but I didn't mind the hostels location because the train is so convenient to it and the ginza stop is in the "center" of the line so every ...

Although when you organize your stuff, it can be uncomfortable due to the small size of the locker room. Other than that it is very good. Especially they give me a back to carry around for washing, it is very convenient. But of course, you need to return when you check out.

I have been to many Hostels in Tokyo and have to say this one was definitely the best. Comfortable beds. Blackout curtains, small number of people sharing the room made for a great sleep! Powerful showers, great Internet access, Right in Ginza, close to all the shops, train stations. I can't fault this place. Cleaners friendly and nice so please stop to say hi to them...

Pros: *I chose it for its convinient location, about 15-20min walk from tokyo station. could walk to Akihabara in 40 min or so, 2 stations by train. *Good and clean installations, free coffe in the lobby. *rooms with foldable table inside, i liked that, and a security locker. the reception, very helpful and friendly, provided me with nice conversations during my stay...

mere steps from the Ginza shopping area. i stayed during "Hanami" (Cherry Blossom Festival). Marriot...etc rooms were $150+, out of my budget. place is Clean & Quiet. The hotel has a really cool self-check in machine which made the entire check in process very smooth and quick. I got the family room, pretty spacious because there were no other furniture. Facility is new and clean, this APA has laundry machine! I always travel for 1-2 weeks and not all APA has laundry facility, so this is very helpful. There are at least 3 APA around the 2 blocks perimeter so it could get confusing. (I walked into a wrong one when arriving). All close to subway stations. Very quiet at night with a few small old restaurants and izak...

Love First Cabin very much. Tried a typical capsule hotel for a first time before staying at First Cabin. My conclusion....will never stay at other hotels except First Cabin whenever I would travel solo. Reasons: 1. Cleanliness is superb, cabin is spacious especially First Class. Private shower cubicle available and public bath with hot spa pool...

The hotel is clean and small . But as asians we are petite so the room is still roomy to move around in. Its just about 5 mins walk to the kyobashi station where you can ride the ginza line going to ginza. Its just one stop away. The kyobashi area has no shopping malls. All are mostly office bldgs. So we went to ginza where all the shopping malls are. If you want to e...

Located 2 mins from Shintomicho metro station near Ginza. Especially good for going to the Odaiba area. The facilities were great - Wi-Fi, hot water and heating all worked well. Just need to be careful because there's no grey area with the taps - either turned off or strongly on. The bed was great, though the pillow was a bit flat. Really appreciated being able to ge...

We stayed here, because of great deal on agoda and its proximity to Tsujiki fish market( 3-5 min walk). It was nice hotel, clean, small but roomier than i expected from reviews i read here, very close to Tsukiji fish market, close to Ginza shopping street, Kabuki theatre. If interested in Tuna auction, make sure to check when the registration is day prior, so you won't...

Hidden among the quiet streets 5 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Ginza, Hotel Amanek was one of our favorite hotels in Japan. Don't get fooled by the low star rating (2 stars I believe). This is Japan. Even in a 2 star, you'll have BETTER quality- than at most 4 (and even some 5) stars hotels in the US, or other parts of Asia. I suppose the main reason for the low star rating is the size of the rooms. But hey- you're in Tokyo. If you're concerned about small rooms... you're visiting the ...

Stayed there for 6 nights, it was a great place to stay, right above the tsukiji market. The higashi-ginza metro station is a 5 minutes walk and the ginza shopping street is about 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Stayed here for 3 nights. All I can say is room size is small, but was told to expect this kind of room size when you are in Tokyo. Very clean, location is very near to train station that with train lines connecting to major tourist spots in Tokyo (Ginza, Akihabara, Ueno, Shibuya & Shinjuku). Although it's a 3-star hotel, I applaud that it provide decent toiletries fro...

We stayed at Ginza Capital during the cheery blossom season and the rates were still remarkable affordable for a hotel nicely situated near Ginza and Tsukiji. It is right next to a metro station (Shintomicho). The rate also comes with an excellent breakfast. Situated in a quiet little neighborhood with a number of small and mid-sized local restaurants nearby, easy access to Sumida River Terrace walking and running trails as well as two different Tokyo Metro lines make this a perfect base of operations for a couple or small family to see as much of Tokyo as you have energy for. My husband and I with our college-aged son w...

My stay at Courtyard was a great and pleasant stay. My husband and I arrived at 7 in the morning and we took a limousine bus from the airport which led us to the hotel entrance. We needed a Tokyo hotel to gather ourselves before flying from Narita to Gold Coast, Qld. The Courtyard is less than 10 minutes from Tokyo Station and tourist bus tours etc. It is 20 minutes stroll to the Imperial Palace and 10 minutes to Ginza shopping district. The hotel's restaurant has a wide spread of offerings and prices. Staff were english-speaking, bright, youn...

Loved our experience at the hotel. It’s a 5 minute walk to Tsukiji market and a 15 minute walk to central Ginza. At night the surroundings get pretty quiet and feels a little far from the bustling Tokyo night life. Great for those who want a clean and modern hotel!

The hotel is small and in the side street near Ginza Six. Location-wise, it is perfect if you love Ginza. The metro is about 8-min walk away. The only drawback is that it doesn't have airport limousine service and you have to walk to another hotel nearby for that. The hotel staff have pretty good English (in Japanese standard, this is rare) and the male staff who check...

We stayed for 3 nights and hotel did impressed us in 3 ways. First of all, the hotel is new and well equipped in contemporary industrial style. Room size (15m2) is bigger than general tokyo hotels’ (12-13m2) and we can open 29” suitcases in the room. You can control TV & air conditioner by smart panel in the room. Second, it is located at walkable distance to Ginza, To...

Amazing service. I had a whole bunch of special requests this trip and they fulfilled them all with a smile. Love the stay at The Peninsula Tokyo! Hotel service was great! Especially the concierge team, thumbs up!! More about Ginza
On-site hotels are also in reach of up-market restaurants and swanky drinking establishments. Ginza Sapporo Lion’s Pub is a particularly famous restaurant in this area. The restaurant’s imposing Gothic style is unlike any seen in Tokyo. Guests choose from Western and Japanese dishes, but the main attraction is Sapporo beer served in a German-style beer hall.
One of the defining sites of Ginza is the Sony Building, a defining example of postmodern architecture in Japan. Other local attractions include the gardens of Hama Rikyu, built around a 17th-century villa that belonged to Shogun Tokugawa.
Shinbashi district is immediately south of Ginza. The district was built around JR Shinbashi Station, which has been renovated and now hosts a popular restaurant and a museum that explores the history of Japanese Railways. Within Shinbashi is Shiodome, a high-rise district famous for the shops and restaurants in towering Shiodome City Centre.
Accommodation in Ginza / Shinbashi is as popular with international shoppers as it is with visiting Japanese. Guests enjoy convenient access to the train network thanks to Ginza Station and JR Yurakucyo Station. Between the two, there are links to metro and elevated railways.
