Clean and neat room with a large clean double bed. The room looks nice.

Clean room, good location”

Although Agoda gives the location as Riomaggiore, the actual location is Manarola. We took the train to Riomaggiore, enquired from the tourist office, then had to take another train to Manarola. It's quite a hard climb from the Manarola station, especially for the elderly. The room is very clean with modern amenities. Self check in and you do not meet the owner.

Room was clean, newly renovated with white walls, and furnishings, and glass sink and shower facilities with overhead rain shower facilities. However the room was along the corridor and on the ground floor, meaning we could hear people who were walking along the footpath outside the room. Walls were thin. Luckily we only stayed for one night. The charges for the room had to be paid in cash to be placed in an envelope and deposited inside a metal box for the owner. Luckily we had sufficient cash to pay. The room rate for one night did not come cheap.

Location hard to find, but give a call to Giovanni. He will be kindly come to pick you up. If you arrived on his off duty, don't panic, he will still send his friend. The room was tidely kept and modern in the bathroom. However, there was a cockroach found ON THE BED (well, there is certainly something you cannot just control and I dont blame this to the room...maybe its the area.) Also noted that payment only in cash and had to leave in the room as you depart. All and all, it was a pleasant stay. Giovanni sounded very friendly and willingness to help was great. It's pity that we havent met him.

Please make sure that you don't have a big luggages because this guest house is not far but it is located in the mountainside, so it is not easy if you have a big luggage with you. The room is very good, it's clean and comfortable. The view from terrace is very stunning!

Poor communication led to us waiting in the rain”

We were made to wait in the rain for an hour as the door was locked. But we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room. Definitely much better than the photos you see online. It has a great view too. The best part is the wifi connect. Probably the best we had in Italy. The location is a bit fair from the station, but if you don't mind climbing the slopes, it should be ok. Would consider staying there again.

差的很，不要上当了”

位置在山上，外面无指示，很难找到。宣传不实，没有专人服务。门口堆满杂物，大门和房间门是同一把钥匙，任何有大门钥匙的人，都可以随便开其他房门，无安全可言。房间唯一的柜子，上了锁，无法打开使用，房内无保险柜。被子潮湿，与店家多次沟通，店家均无人来处理，只是强行的把保证的信用卡，未与客人打招呼的情况下，扣除了费用。从未见过如此差的。千万别定，来了就是上当。
