Nice, clean and good location”
The rooms are nice, the WiFi was reliable, my only complaint is the breakfast buffet needs a little improvement. However it’s very nice to have a real coffee freshly made from the machine for each guest.

Really great stay ”
We really enjoyed our time at Glacier! The staff were really helpful, the room was clean, hot water was plentiful and the bed was comfortable. It’s also in a great location, as it’s only a 10 minute walk to Central Lakeside. Though it wasn’t a huge deal for us, the only ‘con’ was that the WiFi wasn’t very good in our room. Just as an FYI, there’s a lovely coffee shop called Am/Pm Cafe right beside of the hotel and they have a better connection. All in all, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if we’re in Pokhara :).

Charm on the banks of the lake”
The hotel has an eclectic charm and is nicely located across the street from the lake. Rooms have whitewashed beams and sponged blue walls, creating a nice ambience. Beds were comfortable and tidy. We enjoyed the hotel restaurant and the breakfast was tasty. Showers were hot. Wifi was dicey, but typical of Nepal. Reception was stronger in the restaurant than in our room. My husband got a massage via the spa which was of top notch quality. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Excellent stay, highly recommended”
Probably one of the nicest hotels in Pokhara. It's opposite the lake, close enough for a short walk to the main shops/restaurants but far away enough not to hear any noise. Clean, spacious and modern room (we had to honeymoon suite).

Hotel ar great location and with super friendly owner & staff”
My wife and I stayed in the honeymoon suit for about a week even if it was not our honeymoon. We thoroughly enjoyed the week. The hotel provides a good starting point for exploring the lakeside, damside and starting some simple hikes. The hotel breakfast incl. in our room cost was very good. The best thing about this hotel is the very friendly and accommodating staff as well as the owner. Time permitting, the owner is willing to offer some tours to guests... at a lower cost, to less touristy spots and a much more personal experience compared to all the tours you can book at the dozens of tour operator shops in Pokhara. We definitely recommend this hotel.

Accommodation on the banks of the lake”
Spacious and clean rooms, average breakfast. In the price of the accommodation was a boat trip and airport transfer included. Even though the transfer was confirmed, nobody was waiting for us at the airport.

Poor Service, Overpriced Shit!”
Rooms are fine but there was problem with electricity which they couldn't solve. The shitty hotel served one of the worst breakfast ever! The staffs were very very poor at handling the service. Moved next day to another hotel.

A hotel with no credit and trust”
I stayed at Glacier on Mar 24th when I finished a trekking in Annapurna. I did not make any online booking in advance, so I checked the rate with the reception when arrival, they told me it's USD100 and I paid by card. Later after my checked-in, I found their rate is only USD70 online for the same room type we stayed. Their staff kindly agreed to refund the USD100 that I paid and re-book my room online. I left the hotel the next day for Lumbini, and they had not arranged the refund yet, but they promised to arrange the refund as soon as possible. I believe their words because I think Glacier is a decent hotel. But up to now, I did not receive the refund. During the past one week, I sent three or four e-mails to Glacier, inquiring how it was with my refund. Surprisingly, no one reply me with a word. It seems that I am sending e-mails to a hotel with no person. I really wonder why a hotel like Glacier will treat their guest like this?

Gorgeous hotel, incredible staff”
Traveling with 12 folks from west coast of the US, we found this hotel to be calming, and luxurious, with awesome view of the lake and snow-capped Annapurna, Machhipurcha and other peaks. It is about as close to the Phewa lake as you can get, and it is at the end of the main shopping district, helping to avoid the crowd and noise till late night. We stayed there for three nights and tried restaurants that came highly recommended. We found that the restaurant of the Glacier Hotel was just as good, if not better than any of those top-rated restaurants. The hotel also arranged for a helicopter ride to Annapurna Base Camp from the Pokhara airport which is less than 10 minutes away from the hotel. It was one of the best adventures that we could have done! Do not pass this opportunity -- the money is well worth it and you will not regret it! The staff is hard-working, courteous and unassuming. We also met the owner, who was eager to make our stay comfortable. A great spread of breakfast is included with your stay. Overall a beautiful peaceful hotel comparable to some of the hotels I have stayed at in Florence, Italy, and Vancouver, Canada. What more can you ask for?

Fabulous stay in a perfect location!”
We absolutely loved the Glacier Hotel! It was recommended by a couple of friends and it certainly lived up to the recommendation. It is in a perfect location overlooking Phewa Lake with beautiful views of the lake and Annapurna mountains. It is also a perfect location for walking around the city of Pokhara, very near to all of the shops and restaurants. We booked the junior suite for two nights and were upgraded to the honeymoon suite which was lovely with excellent views! The property is new, clean, the rooms are spacious and well equipped and the breakfast is very good! We traveled with a 2-year old and the staff could not have been more gracious. The owner/manager greeted us daily and was very pleasant. We had airport shuttle service and even used the hotel transportation to drive up to the World Peace Pagoda. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again!

The most beautiful hotel in Pokhara”
Attention to detail and charm best describe the Glacier Hotel & Spa. My boyfriend and I stayed in a junior suite on the 6th floor with a large balcony overlooking Phewa lake. The food was incredible and the coffee was some of the best I have ever tasted. Seriously, I would go back just for the coffee! Room service was fantastic and all of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We felt like our stay in the hotel was genuinely appreciated. Everyone was so kind and helpful. It is a family owned hotel and it is so beautiful, you can imagine a wealthy local family creating this gem with love and pride. It's truly one of the most wonderful places I have ever stayed.

Beautiful hotel in beautiful Pokhara, made better with a magical sunrise trek”
We stayed at Glacier Hotel for 3 nights over the Christmas break in Dec 2017. We opted for the Honeymoon suite, which was absolutely worth the extra cost. Suite is on the top floor, and had a homely feel to the design, with a large bath tub to soak in after a long day in Pokhara. Awesome views of Pokhara from the room, and right outside the room is a rooftop patio that looks directly at the lake - patio is open to all guests but we found ourselves alone most of the time given that the Honeymoon suite was the only room on that floor and the other floors have their patios as well (I think). The service from the hotel staff was delightfully good, and very honestly the best we've experienced our whole trip. We signed up for a very reasonably priced Dhampus sunrise trek (~5 hours) which was the highlight of our trip. Rajendran, the owner of the hotel, was our personal guide for the trek, and he took us on the trek of our lives.

Best place to recharge after mountain hiking”
After 10 days of trekking in the Annapura Circuit trek, my girlfriend and i checked into Glacier Hotel & Spa in Pokhara Lakeside district. We were very glad that we chose this luxurious boutique hotel after our arduous trek as the facilities and service were superb for our bodies to recuperate. Probably due to the low season in Dec, we were upgraded to the junior suite though we booked the deluxe room. The hotel has an excellent western restaurant Harbour where we had a very full dinner. The portion was huge and staff were attentive. We had breakfast in the Fountain Cafe within the hotel and it was a very good experience.Would like to give special mention to receptionist Sushmita who was professional and flexible to our requests. Would definitely stay here again next time i visit Pokhara.

Excellent location, friendly staff, lovely view”
We checked into Glacier after our trek and had a great experience. We booked a honeymoon suite and had access to the terrace on the top floor, where we could see a nice view of the Phewa Lake. The room was huge, clean and comfortable, beyond our expectations. The hotel is centrally located, with just a 5 min walk to the main part of the town. The staff are friendly and attentive. The hotel restaurant food was good too. Will definitely stay here again when I come back to Pokhara.

Excellent”
Very nice Hotel in Pokhara. We ended up in the Honeymoon Suite, which is very spacious, clean and well decorated. Check in was nice thanks to welcoming staff. Nice terrace on top floors. In the room: clean and hot water. Bed was very comfy. Bathtub was supposed to offer jacuzzi and hydraulic mechanisms (big asset for the room), but it was not working and the hotel did not advise us on this problem. Attached restaurant is quite expensive for Pokhara but food is good and is worth the price for tourists. Included breakfast is a nice (fresh and good quality) buffet. Spa was out of service, but hotel proposed to use an external Spa company services (they booked it for us and proposed freely a taxi to the spa - return taxi not included though). We highly recommend this hotel for people who are not on a budget trip, as it remains quite expensive. Quality is definitely an asset in the Hotel for Nepal.

Amazing location, beautiful view and friendly staff”
The room was very clean and spacious, beautiful view of Phewa Lake and there are several restaurants and shops around the hotel. The lake is just opposite the hotel and you can rent a small boat or a pedal boat. The breakfast was good and the food at the harbour restaurant was delicious. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. I had a great stay at this hotel.

i have lived here two times, one time before trekking and one night after trekking. everything in the hotel is perfect, from the staff service and room cleanliness. the front desk even got me free upgrade to a deluxe room. i can see the fishtail summit from the room window. p.s. the breakfast buffer is also fantastic. next time i will definitely choose glacier hotel again.
