Glendalough International Youth Hostel is set in beautiful Glendalough, surrounded by its pretty countryside and at the foot of Camaderry Mountain. With free WiFi, it is surrounded by gardens and features a shared kitchen, lounge and terrace. The Glendalough offers both dormitory rooms and private rooms with en-suite bathrooms. Bed linen is included. In the mornings, the hostel serves continental breakfast, available for an extra cost. The options include a selection of cereals, toast, fruit juice, and hot drinks. Full Irish breakfasts are also available upon request and at an extra charge. Guests can enjoy drinks and evening meals in the restaurant, which is just 5 minutes' walk away. Shops, bars and restaurants can be found within 2 km of the hostel. The surrounding hills and lakes are ideal for walking. Bike rental is available in Laragh, just 2 km from the property. Nothing to shout about. As expected from a hostel. Does not have hand soap or any amenities. Have to do linen of bed yourself. Quite expensive for the standard. Near to the glendalough trail but not exactly walking distance

Lovely one Night stay”
A very special location so close to monastically ruins and lakes. We saw several wild deer on an evening walk around lake. Good clean sized room. Only problem was husband is tall and bed had raised timber ends, uncomfortable!

Probably the best hostel I've ever stayed in. Clean, beautiful and spacious. The location is absolutely flawless. Some of the staff were not the most helpful, didn't want to feel bad about asking for help. On the other hand, some of the other staff members were such a pleasure. Otherwise, amazing. I would most def go back for another stay.

מזעזע, החל מהמקלחות מימי הביניים וללא מים חמים או זרם, דרך העובדה שיש וויי פיי אך ורק בלובי הקטנטן, וכלה בכך שהמזרונים קשים כאבו ושאין באמת שטח אחסון לתיקים (אני הייתי בחדר לשמונה, היו שני ארונות אחסון. שמורת גלנדלוך מדהימה, ההוסטל לא.
