Good value for money”
I was just looking for a bed for the night. This was perfect. The room was very small but clean. You also do have shared bathroom facilities but they were spacious and very clean. The location of the property is excellent and there is some free road packing at certain hours around the property. For the price - excellent value and the staff were excellent.

OUR STAY”
Glenferrie is Great, especially good if you have little children, as they play area keeps them occupied for ages. I do not however, recommend it for elderly, or people with mobility issues as it has a very steep stair to reception and if your not on the ground floor, another three flights up to the top floor. Only thing I could fault this visit was that the café never appeared to be open, although it was well stocked, and they only provide filtered coffee with breakfast......... not a fan. Really missed being able to have a flat white or cappuccino with my breakfast

Location, location location!”
So convenient to ferry and train station. Also easy walk to where you start walk across Sydney Harbour Bridge to The Rocks. 10 mins on ferry to Circular Quay and Central station. Facilities and staff were very helpful and although my single room compact, had everything I needed. I would highly recommend this lodge.

Best budget hotel with charm”
A simple budget hotel. For $59 bucks it was a bargain, especially in Sydney. If you are ok with sharing bathroom facilities (very clean) I'd highly recommend this place. It has charm and a sense of history. It's location was the best, close to the pier and ocean, as if it's tucked away in a secret secluded area. I took the ferry back and forth constantly between Circular key using my Opal card which is capped at $15.80 for the whole day. Take the Ferry rather than the train, it's a better experience. If you're short on cash you can even walk the harbour bridge. It only takes 20 mins. There's a cafe at the pier, I highly recommend it just for the ambiance and view of the ocean while you sip your coffee. It'll be part of the Sydney experience also. The negative part is that you can hear people using the bathroom (fans, stomping, talking, door closing) if your room is located next to it. Just get some earplugs. Location is the best, different, quiet, charming, relaxed.

Great staff and clean facilities. Really close to the Kirribilli ferry wharf, so most of my travel was awesome. The staff completely took care of me even though my work had me in and out at odd hours. Will stay again!

Good for solo stay but remember to bring your earplugs”
The room is not sound proof enough, everyday I was awake by birds calling starting around 2am 🤪. The room and shared bathrooms are clean. Nothing to complain about other then the early morning noise.

Location was amaaaazing!! Like a 50mtr walk to the ferry and 4mins to Circular Quay where opera house etc is. The prime minister lives literally at the end of the street. It can't be that bad of a spot hey

Convenient location”
Great location, Kirribilli is a nice spot. The only fault I have is that it’s very noisy throughout the night. Not sure if it was the room I was staying in but I got woken up quite a lot as I could hear other guests talking and making noise, closing doors etc.

Near to Sydney CBD, 2 stops to Townhall. There is a lookout point in Kirribilli where you can have a clear view of Sydney Opera House and Darling Harbour. Shops and restaurants are in Fitzroy St which is quite a long walk from Glenferrie Lodge but then you have uber eat. The room is clean but the common bathrooms/toilets need to be tended to more frequently. All in all it was a pleasant stay.

Comfortable & homely, convenient location close to ferry service. Excellent breakfast & friendly staff. Quiet rooms, lovely garden area in view of the Harbour bridge. Shared bathrooms not everyone's style but worked well for us. Stairs wouldn't be ideal for anyone with health issues.

Easy, affordable, clean”
Stayed here on a Monday night for work. Room was clean, has tea&coffee and a tv, bathrooms are shared but being a Monday night I feel like I was the only person staying on my floor and had the bathroom to myself. Good affordable place to stay if you’re travelling by yourself (or couple) and don’t mind sharing the bathroom. Breakfast in the morning was good, although with COVID the “buffet” was staff served and service was a little slow. Otherwise, all good and happy with my short stay.
