      This was my third time stay at this hotel, first time was about 10 years ago and it was a newly opened. I loved the location, however, this time I was a little disappointed. Upon my arrival, the front desk didn't greet me even I was right at the desk, she looked at me and walked away, until I asked for check-in and she said there was no room at that moment. Any experience/well trained front desk would greet the guests and giving information or instructions when they see guests approache the desk! The room facility is getting old, such as shower-head wont stay up... the breakfast was not as good as used to be, especially compare to other places at that price level. I would still recommend to other travelers for its location, despite the service and facilities.

      Relative good location to trevel the city, a little far from downtown, if you want to eat or drink at night. Room and bath are not so clean at that time.

      Good location but old equipment service was bad, not as professional as 4-star hotel, long waiting time when check-in and check-out, the hostman didn't help arrange taxi well even we asked and waited... really do not understand what happen abt their service requirement? room(luxury type) was quite so so, not the level as 4-star. good location, if the price get more cheaper, you could consider abt it but anw~ I may not come back again.

      location, location, location
      It was peaceful, very near to the major attraction areas. Just cross the street and walk along the canals, cafes, parks all day. If you walk behind the hotel direction, you can see some art exhibitions and twin pagodas.

      Three star hotel claiming to be 4-star”
      Next to Suzhou University and close to major attractions
      I stayed at the hotel because of a business trip to Soochow University, which is almost next door. Even at the discounted price, this hotel is not really worth the money I paid. As many of the previous reviews commented, the facilities (esp. in the room) are very dated (- circa 1990?). There is no wifi, but wired connection with a very short wire. The internet connection does not work initially and I was told this is because my computer is a mac. Even after I talked to the supervisor, it took them ~20 mins to get me online. The aircon does not really work as expected. The breakfast (and every other charges) are super-expensive (because they think they are 4(+)-star. Overall, my advice is to avoid this hotel (and probably the hotel chain).
