Best Location”
This is my second time staying at Glur Bangkok Hostel. I chose this hostel because of its location close to Saphan Taksin BTS and Sathorn Pier. So, we can save more time. In front of the hostel, you can find Bang Rak Market, Robinson, McDonald's, KFC, many food stalls and also some pharmacies. So you will not starve. The room I stayed in was quite clean and complete with a hair dryer and electric kettle. FYI, there is no door for the bathroom and it is only covered with curtains. This hostel is also prepared breakfast for guest with a simple Thai food, and I like it, tasty. Their staff is very friendly and helpful. If you are Indonesian, don't worry, because one of their staff is from Indonesia, Firman, he will help you. By the way, we met a woman on our last day. She help us brought our luggages to car. She said she is owner Queen's Curry, restaurant closed to Glur Bangkok Hostel. Please say hi to her from us and we will try her restaurant for next trip.

Great for Solo Travellers!”
I chose Glur because of its close proximity to the Chao Praya River and BTS Skyline. I am thoroughly satisfied with the amenities and enjoyed my stay at the place. I've done my own tours in Bangkok, visiting most of the temples and the Grand Palace on my own. The common rooms were chic and I was able to spend time with fellow backpackers. They also allow laundry, and I've managed to do a little after my trip in Siem Reap. The beds are great and I love the big 'capsule' spaces. They also provide for tours in case you have none prior to your trip to Bangkok. Glur is also right beside Bangrak Food Market, should you want to eat Thai where the locals are. They also offer food in their cafe. The staff are also quite helpful, they've helped me with arranging how to use the transit (BTS-MRT line) and how I can change rooms with them. They have no elevators so I imagine it difficult for those who hate stairs. Also, the common areas, at least in the hostel area, only have fans so it is kind of warm during the day. The AC in the rooms are timed, which is understandable since I think no one is there most of the day. Lastly there are some times where there is no hot showers. I've only managed to get one at one cubicle in the shared showers. All in all, I was satisfied with my stay in Glur Bangkok Hostel. It is quite close to important transit points, and close to Shangrila Hotel, Bangrak Market and Robinsons Mall should your taxi/tuktuk/bike not know where it is. It is in a fairly safe location, and it is quiet in the evening so that you can rest well.

Best hostel we've stayed in!”
We had an awesome stay at Glur and it's the best hostel we've stayed in during our SE Asia trip. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The living room and kitchen area are very comfortable to hang out in (plus you can store your stuff if you arrive early and there is free tea, cereal, toast and jam available). The beds are extremely comfortable and are immaculately clean, and are double bed sized and well curtained off to give you privacy. The showers are also amazing, great hot water and huge shower heads. Finally, the location is great - you're a 1 minute from both the BTS line and one of the ferry stations (which is the best way to get around and is super easy to get to the Grand Palace, main temples and Kao San Road area). All in all, we're very glad we stayed at Glur and if we return to Bangkok would love to stay again!

THE BEST JUMP OFF POINT TO ANYWHERE IN BANGKOK”
We stayed for 6 days in their dorm room on the 6th floor. We chose this place because it was a 5 minute walk to both the Sapahan Taksin train station and the Sathorn Pier. Secondarily, it was on the same street as the Market Bazaar and Robinson's Department Store. The rate is very affordable considering the amenities. The only downside perhaps to site is that there is no elevator - and for heavy luggage - it would be a steep arduous climb. Then again, we could probably ask for staff assistance to carry these. they served the basic breakfast for budget hostels - actually available in the kitchen/dining area 2 hours. The other tiny problem was the air-conditioning on the 6th floor dorm room which was not sufficient. There was a ceiling fan but it wasn't oscillating. We reported it to the hotel staff for appropriate action. But, still and all, this one hostel that gives you more than value-for-money. Don't be without it when in Bangkok!

Hidden Gem in Bangkok”
I am almost reluctant to discuss just how amazing this hostel is so I can keep it all to myself. As a hospitality professional, I know good service and care when I see it. The ladies at Glur Bangkok will remember your name and ask you how your trip was to that temple or museum. Home is where the heart is, and this property exemplifies that to a T! The beds (on the lower bunks) are big and plush, making you feel like you are staying at the Ritz. The 24-hour breakfast is great, as is the cozy living room nook (and guitars to food around with... awesome!). The location next to the BTS Saphan Taksin stop is convenient for a weekend spent exploring attractions near the river, the Silom area, and a quick BTS ride to the Siam area. It is lucky for me to have booked this international hostel. I have experienced amazing service and facilities with an appropriate price. It is just near the Sathon Pier and there are a lot of restaurants and massage storefronts nearby. You can get a private, roomy and clean bed and enjoy your trip in Bangkok.

the hostel is only 2 mins walk frm the bts saphan taksin station (Exit 1), around Glur there r few restaurants ,a local food center wiv quite a lot of choices ( there is also a little night bazaar outside the food center wiv people singing at night~), Robinson ( next to the food center) which has a foodcourt, few restaurants and TOPS supermarket on the lower floor, check in time is abt 2pm but i arrived Glur ard 7 in the morning becoz of my early flight, Glur is also a cafe (G/F) wiv staffs available 24hrs so u dun hv to worry abt ur baggage, they letted me leave my huge suitcase in the living room (1/F) and i also took a little rest there be4 going out~

The stuff are really friendly and they give me some helpful suggestions. Especially, every time when I came back tiredly, they provided me with cold tea. Also, when I left my card in the dorm, they went upstairs to open the door for me. Worth the Money”
This is the second time that I choose glur bangkok to be part of my trip during my stays in bangkok. BTS saphan taksin and chao praya river pier are just nearby this hostel. The staffs are very very friendly and always greet you whenever they see you. The room is clean and bed is comfy.

A wonderful place to call home in Bangkok”
It was my first time in Bangkok and GLUR felt like home! The staffs were very welcoming and friendly through out my 5 days stay. The place itself was very clean and tidy. To top it off the location is the best place one could ask for. 3min walk to a BTS station, 3min walk to the pier, 3min walk to the local street food, a mall right opposite made available should you require necessities, international ATM machine 3 mins walk away, 2mins walk to the local night market, 5 mins walk to fast foods if you cant handle the local food and the list goes on! If I ever visit Bangkok again, I will most definitely come back here to stay. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staffs at GLUR for making this trip a very memorable one. i was stay here for a night during my transit time to Phuket. the staff is very helpfull. i will recommend this hostel to all my friend when they will visit Bangkok. the locatiom is near by BTS station (saohan taksin) and its also interchange with pier station. from here, you can take a free boat to Asiatique. for food around, you can find all food in food central just infron of this hotel.

Overall good for a budget hostel. But, our room was located in 6th floor so it's kinda tiring to carry the luggage from the 1st to 6th floor. The staffs were very helpful and fluent in English. Toilets were clean. Especially, the hostel was very near to BTS station so it's very easy to reach whatever destination you want to go. Wouldn't mind to comeback again to Bangkok & stay at Glur hostel! :)

i had a really great time here at Glur. Interior was nice and cozy. Beds are huge and comfortable, it can rival those of hotel standards. I'm not used to staying in upper bunks but this hostel changed my mind. Location is perfect. There are food and shopping stalls across Glur. Met a good friend here. Also, amazing staff! They always smile and greets you. I will not forget Ms. Mim. All in all, the best hostel I stayed in so far.

This is the best hostel I have tried. The bed is comfortable just like in a hotel. The 24 hour breakfast is so convenient. Wifi is good! The staff are friendly. Haha too good to be true? Check them out! Okay so the only downside that I can forgive is there is no elevator and I was on the 6th floor. But again, I am all about fitness and alot of walking in Bangkok so it works fine with me. Thank you Glur!!

I had an awesome stay in Glur! It's centrally located. Sathorn pier and bts is just a minute away. Loving the location a lot :D the rooms and toilets so spotlessly clean. Design is very quirky as well. This is hands down the BEST hostel I've ever been to. I travelled alot so when I said best, it speaks a lot!! Just one thing they can improve, maybe the admin should allow air con to be on all day as it gets really heaty and stuffy in the afternoon. Apart from that , everything is perfect, looking forward to visit Glur for the third time!:p ( this

Glur is a coffee shop/hostel. I love how dainty it is! The hostel is also clean and although we had to bring our bags 3 floors up, it was okay. The shared bathrooms are okay too. I love how they have many showers so we won't have to wait for others to finish. The rooms are small but also okay. I like how the dorm beds have curtains for privacy. The pillows and beds are also up par with hotels. the staff are also very nice and helpful! Would love to stay here again!

Best Hostel In Bangkok”
This is the 3rd Hostel I stayed in in Bangkok and it's my favorite one so far! Location, staff, rooms, cleanliness is perfect for the small price you pay. Breakfast is nothing fancy but you can have it 24hours a day! I'm happy to have found this place.

I very much enjoyed my stay in Glur. The staff were very helpful and the fascilities were great. An easy and very comfortable place to base yourself in while staying in Bangkok. There is also a free outdoor gym fitness center just across the river as well. Definite plus!
