Lovely pool and friendly staff!”
gocce di capri was a wonderful experience. i have stayed in sorrento before, as well as all over the various islands in the area but my boyfriend had never been. the views from the hotel are so amazing, it's breathtaking. the pool is nice, the scenery... everything about it is beautiful. the staff and owners were very nice and super friendly. they even got us a great price for a car service on our last day to the airport in naples. the town of termini is quiet and i highly recommend a restaurant in the town called eughenes for their antipasto. best i have ever had. we didn't eat dinner at the hotel because we just got caught up with the days activities and ate before returning. but the cafe is nice and we had pastries and cappuccinos in the morning. the buses are a good way to get down to sorrento from the hotel, but make sure you have the schedule in hand (the hotel will supply) and also buy a bunch of the tickets from the tabacchi shop, as we found early in the morning and from 1pm-4pm it was closed and there is nowhere else to buy them near the hotel. the also offer a van tranfer service, but typically charge for that. although, it is much less than a taxi. metered taxis from sorrento center or the port were expensive, between 55 and 65 euro... but sometimes it was necessary. all in all, i quite enjoyed our stay and would most certainly do it again... definitely renting a car next time.

Friendly staff”
We have great time at Gocce di Capri. The staff is very friendly. Keep in mind this is not a typical hotel. If you want a maid every day in your room you will pay extra. But we loved the hotel. However, Agoda sold us a hotel in Sorrento. Gocce di Capri is not in Sorrento. It is in Termini. You have nothing around you and if you don't have a car, you may have a problem. In our case we were spending just 3 days in the area. And we hired a private tour to pick us up in Naples train station and to be with us during our stay in the area. Otherwise, our stay in the Almafi Coast wouldn't be as enjoyable as it was. The hotel can provide you tours with pick up. But I strong recommend Silver Star. They did a great job with our transfers and tours.

Stunning views over Capri!”
I did not expect the beautiful view over Capri Island and gosh the sunsets are pure bliss! Super friendly and knowledgeable staff who helped us a great deal. We had amazing fun hiring a scooter and exploring local produce and the most beautiful must go to beach Maria del Cantone and even swam in the ocean Oct. we had a lovely day trip to Sorrento - so glad we stayed at Gocce di Capri. Would love to take my kids back one day as this resort is super kiddie friendly with lovely swimming pool. Amazing value for money!

We had an amazing stay at Gocce Di Capri - elevated views right over Capri Island which was breath taking. Large apartments equipped to a high and comfortable standard, large swimming pool, bar area, lots of activities and events planned for guests entertainment - staff super friendly and helpful. Couldn't recommend this place more, its great!

this hotel is more like a resort. it have the view overlooking capri. staff are friendly and motivated. please don't trust your GPS if you driving in sorrento. we went to small valley and scratch the rental car.. road sign is your best direction.

Amazing setting.... Extremely helpful and friendly”
Beautiful! Even though the residence is quite a way out of Sorrento the staff were unbelievably helpful in helping us get to the venue even at 11:30pm. We were sent all the bus timetables, routes and options to get to the residence. The staff went out of their way for us the whole time we were there. The residence was very clean, spacious and amazing value with the best view! Thank you Marco, Claudia and staff for your help and a wonderful experience... Would love to come back!

lovely hotel with nice view of capri island”
this hotel is located almost the top of sorrento. it's definitely a very far location to reach out of sorrento city centre. all the way up to the mountain about 25 minutes ride by car. despite of the location, it's a very good place for relaxing, with the beauty view of capri.

Friendly staff and great view”
the hotel was a bit hard to find as it is not in sorrento, but in a small village several miles from the city center of sorrento. as you get closer, it is signposted, which makes it easier. the staff are extremely friendly and accomodating. they could not have been more helpful. the rest of the staff were always smiling and willing to help with directions and information. the apartment was actually two bedrooms and two bathrooms and was very comfortable. the pool is beautiful although we did not have time to make use of it. the view from our balcony was beautiful - we took some great pictures of the sunset. we ate dinner twice in the restaurant at the hotel and both meals were delicious and served with smiles. if you're looking for a hotel apartment in a quiet location with gorgeous views and a very friendly staff, then this is the place for you.

Gorgeous hotel but a bit out of the way”
It should be recommended to people to only stay at this hotel if they plan on renting a car or scooter. We did not originally intend to do so, but the hotel is a 45 minute bus ride outside Sorrento and the bus schedule is limited at best. If you plan to take public transport, the latest bus you can take back to the hotel is at 6pm on weekdays and 4:15pm on weekends. From here it is near impossible to travel by public transport to any surrounding cities on the Amalfi coast and spend more than 2 hours there. With that being said, if you rent a car, this is an ideal hotel. Gorgeous views, quiet and peaceful, very nice pool, and great mini apartments. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Would be the perfect fit for a family vacation. Something else to note is that everything costs a little extra money: internet (3 euro per day), breakfast buffet (7 euros!), cleaning service, etc. We wished we would have had a cleaning service sometime during our 5 days there and ended up buying our own things for breakfast and cooking dinner in the apartment kitchen a few nights as well. Highly recommend restaurant Miracapri a little ways down the hill to Sorrento. Walking distance, good food, and great views.

Pleasant stay, wonderful to sit out on the terrace each evening- looking at the sunsets over the Isle of Capri and across to the Bay of Naples. Great to have an afternoon beer at the bar. Lovely big pool and surrounds. Very quiet location- peaceful.

Beautiful and calm. ”
Upon arriving, the first thing you’ll notice is the view. It is quiet and gorgeous. We’d mistakenly booked a superior room for 4 people, we asked for a room for 2 with a bath instead of just shower. They would not give us a new price, but they did accommodate us. They told us that Agoda required cancellation 48 hours in advance, otherwise it was prepaid and there were no refunds. The staff seemed very friendly. They never changed our towels or emptied our trash or brought us toilet paper; we always had to ask. The view was so stunning, we refused to let this bother us. It is a 30-minute drive from Sorrento; getting beyond the small village where the hotel is requires a rather expensive taxi drive. I’d recommend eating at Eugene’s (in the village), a small, inexpensive local and truly Italian restaurant where we both feel we got the single best value for our money since we’ve been in Italy (about 2 weeks).

The stay even though short but very pleasant. Make sure you print driving directions before going to hotel or at least write down the number that you could call to reception if you need an advise how to reach the hotel as it is quite far away from city centre (Sorrento). Staff was great and amazingly helpful!!

Incredible view, nice pool and good value”
The location is very good, views from the balcony especially are sunset were mindblowing. The accommodation is a little basic, but very good, clean and great value. The view itself is worth the money. The only down side is the restaurant, which is not part of the hotel, I would give that a miss, as the food was not great.

Realxing ”
it was a very quiet place in the country until a late arrival person entered our room with a key that supposedly was for another unit but opened our door woke us up and scared the you know what out of us. Called all the phone number listed and was not able to find staff finally someone showed up and directed the couple to the correct room. due to fact that we left early in the morning were not able to discuss with staff.
