Lovely hotel with amazing staff and owner”
We stayed here for 4 nights in December 2015. We’d read lots of good reviews and worried that it wouldn’t live up to the hype, but it totally exceeded our expectations. The location is ideal if you wish to sample the old town area and the beach by bicycle (provided free by the hotel). It’s about 20 minutes to cycle into the old town and about 40 minutes to walk, and even if you don’t want to spend time at the beach, the cycle trip in that direction is well worth it as it is very beautiful, past rice paddies, with lots of great photo opportunities. Don’t be put off if you don’t want to walk or cycle as taxis between the hotel and the old town are ridiculously cheap. The hotel is very new and the rooms are beautiful and of a very high standard, with large walk-in shower, king size bed, fridge, etc. Amazingly, on your first night they give you a free dinner which is of excellent quality. Breakfasts are a la carte with a good selection of western or Asian dishes, fruit, pancakes, etc. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, but particular mention must go to Mrs Linh, the owner. We contacted her a couple of days before arriving at the hotel, because at our previous destination in Vietnam I had a minor medical issue which required a dressing to be cleaned and changed every day, and I wanted a recommendation for a suitable hospital or clinic in Hoi An to get this done. Not only did Mrs Linh arrange for a nurse to come to our hotel room daily to do this, but she also accompanied her in order to translate, and helped to make the whole experience less stressful. We did a cooking course with Mrs Linh (she kindly fitted us in at very short notice on a rainy morning!) and again this was very enjoyable and professionally done. If you stay in Hoi An we can’t imagine a better choice than the Goda Boutique Hotel and we would certainly have no hesitation in staying here again.

Perfect!”
Goda Boutique Hotel is the best Hotel we stayed in in Vietnam! We do highly recommend it, and we can not immagine that anyone could be disappointed of it. Perfectly clean, Perfect Service. The room was even much nicer in reality than on the pictures. Modern and perfectly clean bathroom. We got delicious welcome drinks when we arrived and a huge and delicious free dinner (because we stayed more than one night). There are so many positive things about Goda Boutique hotel I can't write down everything. There is nothing negative to say about it!! Every single person who worked at this hotel was very kind. They made much effort for us to feel at home. When we left we got a beautiful gift (I think because we stayed so long. We extended our stay for more nights, because it was so nice) The breakfast was perfect (eggs, fresh fruits, fruit juices, fresh baguette (warm), Vietnamese meals, coffe, tea (fresh ginger tea for example) and more). When we checked out early in the morning they even prepared a nice breakfast to go. The women working on the reception are so nice and attentive. They booked our flight and bus. She made a lot of effort and everything worked out very well. All in all a very pleasant and relaxing stay! If we come back to Hoi An we definitely stay again!

Exceptional”
We were two couples travelling in Vietnam for three weeks and we cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The staff were marvellous - particularly Mai and Quan(sorry if I have misspelt your names). They made our stay wonderful and were so helpful. This hotel is a little bit outside the main town of Hoi An but that did not bother us. We liked the fact that we were closer to the paddy fields and countryside. We also liked to walk each day and there were also free bicycles available to the guests. The hotel was spotless. The rooms were large and well appointed. I would highly recommend this hotel. It is excellent value for money and we will return when we come back to Vietnam. Great hotel and location ”
We stayed at this hotel because its closeness to our first hotel, the Lotus Hoi An. We were at the Lotus for 5 nights it was nice. We decided to stay another day and they wouldn't offer us the same rate we had paid the other days. We saw Goda on one of our days we went exploring down the road. We wished we stayed at the Goda the entire time. It was cheaper than the Lotus and way nicer and very new. The room we stayed in was huge and it was a free upgrade from the room we booked. We will be staying here next time we come to Hoi An for sure. If it is your first time here you need to get some suits or dresses made. We got terrific deals in town and you can ship back to your home. So worth it!! The only negative was it had no shuttle to town. So you had to pay between 35-50K for the taxi ride into town. But they have bikes you can rent for the day for free or a moped to rent.

Best stay of the trip / Great hospitality”
We had 2 nights of cozy stayed at Goda in early July, 2015. Hotel is very clean and the location is accessible to tourist spots by bike (free from hotel). Owner of the hotel is friendly and helpful; drafted us the route to old town, suggested the must-try-food of Hoi An as well as help booked the MySon tour in last minutes. The complimentary welcome dinner is just more than enough. Knewing that we hope to try something special, they specially arranged some local food as our last day breakfast in Goda (we’ve finally leave Hoi An with no regret). Overall it was a pleasant stayed and highly recommend to others. :)

Good location!”
We were in Hoi An visiting friends as we used to live there. I chose this hotel as it is close to our friends' houses. We were very pleased with Goda, and thought it great value for money. The distance from the old town to the beach is 5km, and this hotel is 2km from the beach, 3km from the old town. Both are an easy bicycle ride away. I liked our room at the front of the hotel as we could see what was happening in the street below.

Brand new, clean, breakfast!”
Simply a gem of a hotel! This is a VERY new hotel which is great because it is very clean. Amenities include everything you need down to the toothbrush and hair dryer. on location restaurant offers great breakfast and a free three course Vietnamese dinner on your first night! Location is a short bicycle ride to the beach and city center. You can easily get around town by renting one of their motor bikes. We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend travelers to enjoy goda boutique as well.

A new hotel attached to the established Goda restaurant. The location is neither here nor there in terms of Old Town Hoi An or the beach. Both are easy to get to by taxi or bike. Bicycles are free. A complimentary first-night dinner was laid on when we stayed (early May 15), with a free glass of wine on subsequent evenings.

Wauw! Amazing stay at Goda Boutique hotel”
We had an amazing 5 nights at Goda! The staff is just incredible. They are the most warm and welcoming people ever. We felt so welcome here. The hotel is beautiful, location is perfect, very nice spacious room, very clean. Very nice pool as well. We were offered a fantastic (free) welcome dinner. The restaurant is just fantastic. We felt so sorry we had to leave. Would recommend it to anyone! Free bicycles were very nice, very helpful staff, ... The night before we left, we found a personalised card from the hotel owner, mrs. Linh, in our room. That was just so thoughtful. A stay we will never forget!

Beautiful hotel at a great price”
Recently stayed here for five nights. The hotel is beautifully decorated with large rooms. The pool is perfect for the hot Hoi An days. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We rented a vespa from across the road and when we got a flat tire we called the hotel and a new Vespa was brought to us, no hassle at all! Breakfast could be improved. The only small issue we had was we made use of the laundry service and our clothes smelt bad after. Other than that it was a really great stay, especially for the price.

Great Experience ”
We stayed for two nights in Hoi An for holidays. The staff was super nice, they received us with an invitation for dinner and the food was good. They explained in detail the information of the hotel and scored us to the room. In addition, they helped us with any inquiry and arrange the things we needed. Excellent stay, cannot fault.”
We checked into Goda and were greeted with drinks and smiles. We also got upgraded Straight away which is always a bonus. The room was flawlessly clean and modern looking, but so was the rest of the hotel! Lovely pool area, one minor negative is that the pool had tadpoles, but you get to swim with them! Breakfast was amazing and included. All service from the staff was brilliant and they always went above and beyond. Top marks for the guy on night watch as he woke up to let us in on several occasions when we came back late from watching the World Cup, He was never annoyed at us and always smiling! We would love to come back one day. Top marks.

Charming hotel”
Boutique Hotel in the right name. The staff is very helpful, friendly, close and nice. Breakfast is perfect. The location is very good, you can move everywhere into Old Quarter (city centre of Hanoi) on foot. We had an overbooking at the first night so they moved us into another hotel and they took care about all the luggage movement as well as they help us with the transport to the airport at our departure. A fruit snack at our arrival was very welcome!!! Our regards to the girl in the reception. Thanks

My favorite hotel with the friendliest staff ”
I have stayed at Goda twice once with my whole family and the second with my mom. Each time our experience has been amazing!! The rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped! The staff are incredible, friendly and informative! There are bicycles to use and a great pool and the food is really good! I love Goda and will defiantly be going back!

Great hotel in Hoi An”
We were very impressed with this hotel. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is situated between the beach and the old town. It is very easy to walk into the old town or borrow one of the hotel's bicycles for free. The airport pick up and drop off is reliable. The hotel responds very quickly to email requests. It definitely feels like a 'boutique' hotel. We would 100% recommend this hotel.

We stayed in a family room. It's really roomy and well-decorated. The balcony was amazing by the way. The location is somewhat in-between the city and the beach but it's still worth for the money. I will definitely return to this hotel when I go to Hoi An.

Okay, but not excellent”
We paid a little more money to get the room with the „private balcony“ because we really wanted a relaxed time. Turned out that the room was facing the busy street and the balcony was really small and just had one chair, also facing the street, so there is no real point in sitting there. The rooms are good, but not as charming as we thought after reading all the good reviews. Also we were a bit disappointed about the pool and sitting areas - there was just no atmosphere, the terasse shown on the pictures is also located right next to the noisy street, whereas the breakfast area is inside and not very charming. The pool is always in the shadow and the area really small. Breakfast was okay, but not so tasty, only three asian dishes, all of them not a lot of flavour. The staff is polite and nice, but it all seemed to be a bit well-studied and not natural. We would not stay again, we had two other hotels in Hoi An which we liked a lot more afterwards.

Lovely hotel - great staff and facilities ”
Very happy with my stay here- stayed 2 nights and the service was excellent from the staff and the couple who owned it took care to give you warm personal attention and make sure you had all you need..the room was great and it was actually the best shower I've experienced in Vietnam hotels so far (which when it's so hot makes a big difference!) - location wise it's a bit far to walk to town but it is an excellent mid point between town and the beach so you can get to either easily with one of the free bikes (about 10 minutes down a straight road either way) and if you can't be bothered to pedal a taxi to town was about 40,000 D so pretty damn cheap..and the hotel staff are happy to get you one quickly
