One of the best places I have ever stayed in the world and I have stayed at many places. Fantastic grounds include a full size golf course and forest filled with wild life. Food was excellent and so were the staff. I could not fault Gokarna in any way at all. Fantastic just relaxing watching the Monkeys, Deer and Eagles at the club house or just relaxing around the main hotel complex. Will return for sure after I have completed some other travels on my bucket list. Really did not want to leave. Thanks again to all staff there. Met and made some really good friends. Hope to see you again soon.

Owners should talk to Government to get good roads leading to the resort from the Airport. It's terrible and that is a mild word. The Resort itself is very nice.

The resort was very nice. The environment is so quit and relaxing, even though it's very close to Kathmandu. The breakfast was ok, but not the best. One important thing: the spa facilities such as the jacuzzi and the saunas are separated for men and women!! We had a vacation as a couple and it was very disappointing to find out that we can't enjoy the spa together!!

Comfortable stay here. Food here is nice. And environment is great. Massage is good, but the wood in the sauna room is really hot. Hard to sit on it unless you have thick panty or towel. Overall the ambiance is good. Would be a great place to relax.

Oasis in the middle of mayhem ”
The hotel is situated approx 30 mins from the airport and a bit longer from Thamel. The roads are rough , uneven, dirty and dusty that you have to travel on . The hotel is in beautiful grounds . Unfortunately if you wish to explore you have to pay for a guide . This is misleading and not described in the advertisement . After some insistence we managed to get a guide for free . The hotel is indoor and can get very noisy/ busy with families , making swimming challenging . The hotel food st the golf club is great . The breakfast / dinner buffet are adequate , not special and reminiscence of school dinners . There is a high security presence , which is a bit unsettling . However despite this they did not intervene when a crowd of 22 adolescents were noisy and unruly in the restaurant and later outside as they celebrated reaching base camp . The experience was something you would expect of a youth hostel rather than an upmarket hotel .
