We were planning to stay 3 nights but we stay 5 nights, we were looking for a cheap place to stay in Nyaung Shwe and we found this one. The place was good, the employees very helpful and trying there best for understanding our request. The rooms are big and well equipped. We truly recommend you to stay there.

Well situated close to where all the boats leave for inle lake tours. Clean enough, hot water, comfortable beds. Not very well soundproofed, we could hear the tv from the other rooms and traffic outside. Still I'd go back and recommend this hotel to anyone simply because of the woman that manages/owns? the place. Super friendly, helpfull, and speaks good english. They accomodated us for an early check inn, gave good information on activities and helped with taxis etc. The hotel has bicycles for rent for cheap, and they are in good condition. We stayed one more night than planned.

Great Staff !”
The location is great as you are near the jetty but away from all the hustle and bustle. The proprietor and staff are what make this a great stay. There wasn't anything too small or too big that they wouldn't assist with. Room was spacious. Good towels. Very flexible on early arrivals and late departures dependng on occupancy. Standards are 'normal' for this area/country. Nice to have hot water [had to wait a couple of minutes after turning on]. Breakfast was freshly cooked eggs, fresh fruit, toast and coffee or tea. AC was good but not needed in the evenings as the outside temperature cools down. Internet slow but normal for area. Would recommend and stay again. Room Tip: You may want to ask for a room upstairs or avoid 106/101 as they are near reception. Otherwise the room I was in 106 was perfect.

Budget choice with convenient location”
5 mins walk from the bus stop and a few steps to the pier. Good enough for short stay. This motel is run by a family. The owner doesn't speak English well (same like most Myanmar local) but they were very heplful. Although we had some issues with the bathroom, we enjoyed our stay here with their hospitality.

Super friendly staff and very nice hotel.”
The owner of this place is a super-lovely lady who is also an English teacher. We booked 3 nights but ended up staying 5. We felt so comfortable and she made us feel at home. The town is very small so everything is very close but this hotel is very close to where the boat tours go from. Breakfast was nice as you could choose continental or burmese style. Can't recommend it enough! The owner ended up inviting us for a dinner because we had stayed so long. Don't miss this place!

Lovely staff but very very noisy room ”
The staff here were lovely, as was the breakfast, location, hotel building itself and the bedroom. However the noise really ruined our stay. We were on the ground floor right by the door and the road, and the walls were paper thin. Both the road and staff were very noisy both late at night and from around 5.30am so we didn't get a great night sleep

Dark and lonely place”
I felt like in a ghosthouse. Nobody in the hotel/lobby/ reception... sonetimes the daughter was there, but she spoke no word in English. Ambient was dark and smoky... when I wanted to book a tour or needed information, I had to go to another hotel. Room was clean and breakfast was good though :)

Do not stay in this Motel! Our only bad experience in Myanmar in 3 weeks was here! No one to welcome you! You feel like the motel so empty and closed. There are no lights, no one to help you with anything! No wifi, AC is working once every 30 minute. No breakfast! The room was dirty! Again, do not stay here!

New hotel not finished yet already falling apart”
Location is walkable from the bus station. Be careful when crossing the bridge as I saw a motorcycle skid out and take down a tourist. The hotel lobby is ok. The staff is nice enough, but it doesn't seem so genuine. Unlike other hotels, if you are trying to form a group to save on costs, the desk does not help you with that, but they are very eager to help you book overpriced tours. Wi-Fi did not work, the air conditioning did not work, the TV worked OK, and the faucet is about to fall off from the sink. In addition, the sink does not drain to a pipe that is connected to the sewage system in the wall. Instead the water that you use in the saying simply falls onto the floor and splashes you and then runs along the bathroom wall to a hole which it uses to exit. This "train" is pretty slow, so allow plenty of time in between showers if you are more than one person. We thought to switch rooms, but after speaking with another guest, she also had this problem and no hot water.
