We may have been their only guests at the time. We paid 50€ a night for the room. Our room was probably the best they had - we could walk straight to the pool. Pool was actually big and clean. Lovely view over the river, especially sunsets. But the room was so dirty - very dusty surfaces, stained towels & curtains, broken and very stained toilet seat, dirt even on the walls and doors, dirt and even a used band-aid on the trashcan lid. They should definitely deep clean all the rooms and replace the toilet seats. If they cannot wash the towels clean, then they shoukd use dark coloured towels. I cleaned the surfaces myself with the foot-towel and showed it to the staff but received no apology. The room was not cleaned unless we asked for it. We had to ask every time to get more toilet paper, water or towels. Rooms should be cleaned every day. Room door was difficult to unlock. Patio doors didn’t properly close at all so we had mosquitos and geckos in the room. There was a latch but only on the outside which loses its purpose. Safe box in the room did not work. No hangers in the wardrobe. Wifi worked on some days, but was unreliable. A/C works but barely. Breakfast was good - you could choose from a pancake, fried rice, rice porridge, sandwich and American breakfast. Well, some days they forgot to banana in the banana pancake, but overall it was good. As an extra, you got some cut fruit but it had been sitting in the fridge and sadly tasted like the fridge. I wish they cut the fruit fresh in the morning. Hot or cold coffee was free with the breakfast.

Beautiful sunset views across the river every single night. Relaxing by the pool everyday. Best hotel of my stay in Laos. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Room was cleaned to a high standard every day. Water topped up in room everyday. Breakfast was amazing and a good variety.

But when trying to check in there was no one around other then a cleaner whom ignored us and a sleeping receptionist a few feet away. After 10 minutes she finally woke and just said passport rather than a hello or sorry. We were led to our room and upon entry we found it to be uncleaned with the previous persons rubbish, underwear, and used bedding still here. She told us to leave our bags and come back in 30 minutes. No apology or smile. Nothing. We left and came back, and they had only just started cleaning it. When we finally got in we weren’t sure what they cleaned other than changing the bedding. The bathroom is in disarray with broken shower (no holder) cracked toilet and ants literally everywhere. As it was only for two nights we stayed and made use of the pool area which is actually pretty nice. But overall wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t come again

Staff are sweet, but largely clueless and English is surprisingly minimal. Do not book tour through Hotel. We booked a tour of two waterfalls and two other local sites and we taken to one waterfall. After much arguing, hotel refunded part of tour cost.
