Location is good: near to my Conference Venue
Large rooms with real windows and good WiFi internet connection
The hotel seems to be a state enterprise hotel and is not located absolutely in the crowdy center but near to it. Still a good location with less traffic noises. The room is larger then a same price hotel located in the busy center of Hanoi. It's clean. Staff assistance is ok. Room is clean. the food is standard, Nothing to complain, but suggest some refurbishment (drainage a bit clogged and some walls need repaint). Late check out acceptable (after a prior request submitted to front desk).

Old socialist style hotel
Hotel next to the Cultural Palast
The Golden Key hotel is located next to the Cultural Palast, near the railwaystation and historical center (walking distance). If you really need this location to stay, it is acceptable choice, otherwise I recommend to stay in an another hotel. In Cultural Palast are from time to time international exhibitions/fairs and shows.

Good Budget Accomodation
Good Area
Just a short weekend trip. location good. nearby is Vietnamese Restaurant with huge choice of foods from around Vietnam. Not Expensive. Try Champagne Brunch at the Melia Horel nearby- good value. Vietnam Hilton- old city jail museum is close by and interesting. Good selection of shopping nearby and old town is within a 10 minute walk.

Comments on staying at Golden Hotel
Quiet, and big room. Nice service.
I cold not flush the bathtub. It may have been damaged but not fixed on time.
Overall, I enjoying staying at the hotel. All staff are very friendly. There are various choices of food for breakfast. The hotel is close to many restaurants. A big Chinese restaurant is only 150m away and a big, outdoor food court is nearby. The room is big, tidy and quiet. It is a good 3-star hotel.

Golden key
Quiet off the main and an easy walk into the old quarter.
Expensive facilities, bar and restaurant.
The hotel is well located with a short walk up Quan Su to Hang Bong, arguably the main street through the Old Quarter. Walking this way gets you to the North of the Lake and lots of shopping and nice restaurants. We has a nice stay and the bed was extremely comfortable.

Good location and reasonable price
The good location for train traveler. Good balance of price and width.
There is nothing in particular. We should understand originally that it is not a gorgeous hotel.
The train arrived in Hanoi late at night to a travel agency for the station can reach reasonable walk from the hotel. There is no luxury, spaciousness, clean and passed on to the point. Breakfast is not the type, Hanoi is no shortage of food, is not subject to deduction of points.
