Serene place outside town”
Perfectly located outside town of Mae Hong Son (you'll need a car to get there). Place is quiet, no noisy/aggressive dogs. There were only few guests that day so place was relaxing and serene. Green grass, calm river, beautiful swimming pool, cute wooden houses which are comfortable and spacious. Simple but decent breakfast. And that's really a resort. Definitely recommend!

Great place by the river”
It's a little out of town but fine if you have your own transport. Right by the river so you can eat with a lovely view. Nice pool available. Not many people there so lots of space. Lovely room and great restaurant

Stayed here twice (Nov & Mar)”
Brilliant resort, but both times completely deserted. Both times we were the only guests. Lovely pool and nice restaurant. But it’s eerie being the only guests, staff can be hard to find as they are used to no one staying there, although they are very helpful when you do find them. Hotel is a little dated, we would definitely stay again.

Wonderful stay”
The hotel was really lovely, the grounds were beautiful, the cats were so sweet and the best thing about this place was the staff. They go out of their way to accomadate you which I rarely seem to find anymore. Highly recommend this hotel!

Quaint but tired. Not in the centre of town at all!”
This quaint old hotel is in a very peaceful setting 12 minutes drive from the centre of town. it's quite tired looking but it's quite charming too so I was happy here for two nights. they have 75 rooms and 35 staff and I was the only guest for my entire stay! Nice swimming pools and gardens. I liked my stay.

Be sure to read what district the hotels are located in. On agoda, this hotel was suppose to be in the city centre but it's about 10 mins outside of the city. So that's the downside. But we had a motorcycle so that was not an issue. The rooms were nice. I did notice a spider next to the hot water on demand tank in the shower. I'm not sure if the staff clean every corner as this spider looked very comfortable where it was. But I'd stay here again. The bungalows were cute.

Bungalows in a large park getting old and having a lack of important facilities.p”
Pros: - large size bungalows - well maintained parc - nice pool - quiet and relaxing atmosphere Contrast - Rooms getting old - no hot water in bathroom - no WiFi in rooms - curtains are not hiding the outside light sufficiently - breakfast for a 4-star hotel too basic - TV out of order . -

The place is AWESOME !!! I recommend it for all people who are travelling to Pai... there is not too much people, it's a little heaven with the pool, the garden, the little pathways between the different facilities... :)

Not much gold at Golden Pai!!!”
The shower is not warm. The hotel is run down. Broken floor (We got the room B8) Noisy ( the other guests were drinking Thai whiskey and singing late night) There are many minivans stayed here, they like to run the engine very loud in the morning. The staff almost invisible. The ground is quite nice and 2 swimming pool.

Too far out of town for us and deserted on the night we stayed. Nice pool with fab birdsong accompanying my early morning swim. Lovely desk staff. Dated rooms with limited facilities.
