Great location”

The location of this Hotel is within easy walking distance of a variety of eating places. The Baht Buses make it easy to 'get around' if you are like us in a group of older people who found walking in the heat a bit daunting. The staff at the resort are very friendly and helpful, the location of the Hotel is quiet with breakfast served at a Restaurant on the River. The rooms are a good size and well serviced will be staying here again later in the year with another group of friends.

My 'go to' accomodation' central Kanchanaburi”

After visiting Kanchanaburi dozens of times over the years, I have settled on Good Times as my resort of choice. You've got a great location next to the river, an excellent restaurant that serves a wide selection of Thai and Western cuisine, a swimming pool, friendly staff, and modern air-con rooms which are clean and well maintained. There is plenty of off street parking, and it's only a short walk to all the restaurants and nightlife, and a slightly longer walk to the famous bridge and walking-street. Nowhere else in town offers so much.

Nice hotel with pool and restaurant at the river”

Always enjoy eating breakfast at the side of the river. Has also a small pool and clean rooms. Nothing fancy but worth the money. Very friendly staff. Stayed there already the second time - still good!

Exceptional”

Hotel location is great if you’re like me and like the peace and quiet at night, it was a 5 minute walk to the nearest bar and as you walk further away the busier it gets. If you get to the end of the bar street, it’s a 20 minute walk back or you can get a motorbike TukTuk back to the hotel for 50 Baht. The restaurant is next to the riverside so it’s great for eating there, I only had Breakfast but lunch and dinner are available. It was Anzacs Day whilst I was there so it was reasonably busy and all good company, however the two days after we’re noticeably quieter and I would imagine it gets really quite after I left? All in all a great place to stay, with friendly staff and a good internet connection!!!

Great boutique hotel for a few days relaxing stay ”

Superb location, riverside. Quiet. Beautiful reviderside restaurant for breakfast. Room simple, clean, nit luxurious but with such a great location and wonderful sights of kancahnaburi .. why stay in your room?

First visit to Kanchanaburi ”

The good: Nice breakfast / restaurant Swimming pool was slightly heated and kids loved it. Walking distance to shops WITHOUT the kids, but a little too far with them. The not so good: Given the resort seems very much family friendly, we would have expected a free shuttle bus / tuk tuk to get to the main road with kids. We ended up using motorcycle taxis more than we would have liked.

Good Times, excellent location, delicious food, attentive staff, clean rooms and facilities. The service from all staff was exceptional 10/10 With out a doubt we would recommend and can't wait to return - thank you for making us feel so welcomed.

Great location, nice enough hotel ”

Flexible staff, location is perfect, quiet, small but clean swimming pool, clean rooms. Restaurant has a beautiful view but very average food. Breakfast could be improved. Overall great for a short stay.

Lovely tranquil riverside retreat”

Beautifully landscaped resort on the waterfront. Quiet, peaceful and comfortable yet central enough to access the town's facilities This was a weekend break so we only stayed a couple of nights so didn't get the opportunity to use all the facilities available. Although the (slightly more expensive than average) restaurant is ideally situated for evening dinner overlooking the river. Staff are courteous, friendly and welcoming which is unfortunately unusual for Thailand that traditionally doesn't have a collective mind for service standards. And a sure sign that staff are happy in their work. We stayed in the lagoon view double which was spacious and clean and worth the extra few hundred baht. Breakfast buffet is typical style mix of Asian and Western and of better quality than others I've experienced. Reception can organise onward travel and local tours with minimal fuss. I'll definitely return when I need to escape Bangkok and enjoy the peace and beauty that Kanchanaburi offers

Exceptional place to stay ”

It has a great location, beautiful garden and warm service. My grandparents love the serene atmosphere over there with clean and spacious family room, a pond filled with fishes and a small swimming pool.

Everything about this place was 10/10”

Staff were so good, friendly and fast. Facilities all amazing, breakfast was great. We got a New Year’s Eve gala show thrown in too u expectedly, the views are great and 15 min walk to the bridge. Plenty of local bars off the side streets too, support the local businesses! Thanks Good times

Wonderful ”

Very friendly polite staff. Rooms are quiet, clean and spacious. Hotel restaurant is next to the river, the food is excellent and also the breakfast has great choices of western and Thai food. Pool is clean with sunshine all day. 7 Eleven 5 minutes walk away. Bridge 20 minutes walk away. Cooking school and trips easily booked and catered for. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent time at Good Times Resort !!!”

The resort is excellent with well cleaned rooms . The staff can speak in English. Restaurant overlooking river Kwai is a perfect place to dine at . Complimentary breakfast served in the next morning had huge variety of things. Moreover they have rental bikes and cars . So it is a perfect place to live in Kanchanaburi .

Our stay in Good Times”

Staff is very enthousiast.. Breakfast is good with many options. The view over the river can be peaceful and tranquil except for the many speedboats passing by. Near to our room people were burning garbage which caused a bad smell. The main road nearby is full of bar,beer and ladies.

I enjoy everything about this resort. Great friendly staff, good breakfast buffet ( could be warmer), have now stayed in different rooms and all ate good and well priced accordingly. The hotel also operates a tour company and was very pleased with the tour we took. Good guide., well organised and excellent value.

An excellent place to stay”

We arrived at the resort about 10am and were pleased to find that our rooms were ready. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The staff were excellent, very friendly and willing to help. I would definitely recommend this resort.
