I’ve been to Mexico a few times before and this was hands down my favorite resort! The style of the hotel was beautiful. Exactly what I picture when I think Mexico. Beautiful Mediterranean vibe. I would definitely recommend you not take the “upgrade” they offer you when you walk in. They bring you to the older hotel and it is definitely not as nice. The food here was great. One of restaurants there was a pants dress code for men. That was frustrating because my boyfriend did not bring any. Any come on, who wants to wear pants in Mexico?? But the food was great at the other restaurants. We learned to ask for the “special” each night and it was something fancier that was not on the menu. We had lamb, salmon, ribeye. The lamb was the best lamb I’ve ever had. I got a great deal on this resort so it’s crazy we enjoyed it so much! 10/10 recommend!

Fantastic stay and experience. All the staff go above and beyond. Service is unbelievable, each and everyone tries to put a smile on your face each time they see you. Great staff, food above average and some very good. The place was really clean with many safety precautions taken for COVID-19. Enjoyed all of the swimming activities and many pools to enjoy, the views are beautiful as the location is right on the beach! Would stay here again.

The hotel was clean and staff was friendly. However, I was staying for one night and by the time I checked in majority of the restaurants needed to make a reservation yet reservation time ended at 3pm and check in time is also at 3. Therfore, we ended up eating outside of the hotel. Items for room service also seemed limited.

Sooo this resort is on the same grounds with royal Solaris that actually has all the amenities. Ex: the pools, ALL the restaurants pretty much everything you need will be at Royal Solaris but you will be sleeping at GR Caribe. But overall clean, food blah so I lived on the burgers, staff is awesome

The best resort ever”
My first Cancun experience became wonderful thanks to GR Caribe By Solaris. All staffs are very kind and helpful. All restaurant's foods and drinks are excellent. Especially Marco polo is my best place. Don't miss making the reservation. I have 4-year-old daughter. She loves all pools and Kids club. She enjoyed water slides again and again. If I had to pick up disappointment points, it is that they do not have a coin-laundry. We need to use laundry services with additional price.

You get what you pay for but it’s not that bad”
Before I review GR Caribe, Id like to disclose that I’ve stayed at two different Riu resorts in Cancun prior to my stay here. So my review may be biased. I couldn’t help but compare it to Riu and when you compare it to a high end resort, GR looks like the resort that needed to try harder in its interior decoration and staff courtesy. The lobby was not very impressive imo. The bars were very limited and the pool was very small. We found ourselves going over to Royal Solaris a lot for their food and pool. The food at all inclusive is all the same. Don’t expect much (except at Marco Polo for dinner. That was good) Our rooms were clean and the staff was nice but nothing that stood out. For the price, GR Caribe is not bad. But I think if you’re going to travel all the way to Cancun, you might as well shell out the extra cash to experience a higher end resort (if you can)

Gorgeous Hotel, food not great”
We really loved our stay at GR Caribe. Their beach and pool are amazing. The hotel is beautiful and peaceful. Our only issue was that the food wasn't great. We'll definitely be back, but we'll be dining at other restaurants on the strip for dinner. We'll just have to survive for lunch and breakfast....

We has such great relaxing time at GR Caribe! The staff, Martina and Frida of the entertainment we fantastic! Lulu in the spa was magical (I highly recommend getting massages on the beach!) and our servers Luis and Leon and Saray were always so wonderful and attentive!

Great place for the value ”
Got a good deal to come for the weekend to celebrate my boyfriends birthday so Upon checking in i let them know that we’re celebrating. they gave us an oceanfront room and when the room was ready, it was all decorated in rose petals shipped into a heart. A really nice gesture. Location: it’s at the beginning of the strip and away from all of the chaos but yet you can ride the bus for less then a dollar each way. I didn’t feel that I was unsafe at all and asked a couple of the locals their view. They stated it was more of a hype if anything. Food: the food was excellent both in the restaurants as well as full buffet and poolside. Entertainment: they really tried to get everyone participation and motivated during day by the pool and at night all the shows were excellent. We really enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t mind returning

Best Resort So far”
Everything was perfect! Staff was friendly everyone we walked by told us hello and if we needed anything! The foods were amazing! The drinks were perfect too, the only problem was I wish I could have had the premium liquor even if I had to pay a little extra, instead of having to join their club... but other than that it was the best resort I been to so far!!
