Centrally located”
I had a pleasant stay at Graha Sriwijaya Hotel. My room has been reserved even though I arrived late at night in Ramadhan. The room is quite small but comfortable. The hotel is centrally located. It is just a few minutes away from Masjid Agung, Sungai Musi, Jembatan Ampera, Pasar Ilir 16, Benteng Kuto Besak and Museum Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II. Those places are easily accessible by foot from the hotel. The staff were friendly and even gave me a wake up call for sahur. The only thing to be taken into considerations, the food for sahur was just so-so. Other than that, I would recommend the hotel to other travellers especially first-timers to Palembang.

Location is really strategic”
Well, I had to say that for a hotel that was established for 6 years, Graha Seiwijaya definitely worn out fast. First, it really smells like an old hotel. The room also old. There were a few ammenities set up in the bathroom, which was nice. Thank God the air condition and elevator was working. Breakfast was pretty good (again, all food In Palembang were delicious). The main reason I choose to stay here was because the location is really good. Tourism objects are within walking distance : Agung Mosque, Nyenyes Souvenirs, Monpera, Sultan Baruddin Museum, Ilir Market, Benteng Kuto Besak, Musi River and much more.

Nice Hotel with Great Staff”
A night stayed before fly to Jakarta. Very nice and helpful staff. The room is big and comfortable with nice scenery toward Palembang town. Just less than 10 minutes walk to Benteng or Ampera river side. quite hard to get taxi but many 'ojek' or 'beca' ready for you just outside the hotel. Overall it is a very nice hotel to stay with very good price.

A simple clean hotel”
the location is really near to jembatan ampera & benteng kuto besak, only 5-10 minutes walk. when we need to go out around palembang, it's not easy to find taxi. but the hotel has facility to rent a car and it cost per hour so we don't have to waste too much money for rent it a whole day if we don't really need to. this hotel is fairly complete with supermarket & atm centre, it's really helpful. the room is clean, but since we booked a deluxe room, it's a bit small unfortunately. but it has a hot/cold shower. breakfast was pretty good, not too many options but acceptable.

Best place for all”
The location is very strategic at the centre of the city.. only 5 min. walking to the river to watch Palembang bridge and other tourist attraction. The staff is very friendly.. They can call taxi for us to the airport.. The breakfast is free.. We had order the dinner from room, and i didn't waiting for long time.. The surrounding is clean and superb!

Got cheated by a girl on front desk”
It was good to stay in Graha Sriwijaya because of the location. Very close to the city center, easy to do self-arranged walking tour around major tourism spots, also easy to get public transport. However, I got a very bad experience with a girl on front desk. During my last day of stay, I asked her to get a taxi to drop me to the airport. I have clearly told her to get BLUE BIRD taxi (the most reliable service and trusted in Indonesia). But she called "her friend" instead, then the driver ripped me off to pay Rp.110,000 for only 15 km trip (should be less than Rp.80,000) because he wanted to get extra Rp.30,000 during the Eid Holiday. Probably the girl was poorly paid to do her job at the hotel then looked for additional income by getting tips from the taxi driver). Other staffs might be just the same, they cannot be trusted at all. CONCLUSION: Never never never book a taxi through the staff hotel, call BLUE BIRD directly by yourself

A good value hotel”
Considering what I paid, the hotel was better than I was expecting. Minimal English was spoken, but all staff were very friendly and helpful. Their Chinese Restaurant was excellent. If I travelled to Palembang again I would happily stay here again.

Adequate for budget traveler”
This was my first stay at this hotel. The hotel staff was friendly. Shower was hot. Breakfast that was included in the price of the room was average. Convenient location. I would describe the room as fairly clean. Bedspread had some stains on it but as a whole the linens were acceptable. Have stayed at other comparable hotels in Palembang that I would lean towards next time. That said, however, I think this is an acceptable option just not at the top of my list. Oh, I almost forgot...my biggest complaint was that the in-room Wifi was terribly SLOW almost to the point it was unuseable.

Great location with friendly staff”
the hotel staff is friendly, the condition of the room is reasonable clean and tidy . for the room charges we paid, it is consider value for money.(promo rate) moreover it is inclusive of breakfast,but the setback is the is no breakfast voucher given during check in. we forgotten that the room booking c/w breakfast, so we missed out the breakfast provided by the hotel. i recommend you to stay here if there is a promotional rate, the normal charges may be too high

The hotel was okay....the staff was amazing”
My stay was okay. I chose the hotel because of location and it had a gym and a pool. The hotel...was okay. The room was small and the bed was comfortable. The shower had really hot water...and cold, but nothing in between. The first night I was there, the room was not clean, but the staff was fine after. The tv only has local channels, the ac is cold...my main complaints are that the internet is really weak and here is karaoke in the hotel starting at 7:30 in the morning.,,loud enough that you hear it in your room. The hall noise also carries into your room, so don't expect to sleep through people pounding through the halls. Also--- the breakfast is all fried Indonesian foods with some toast. The gym is nice and well-equipped. The pool has pretty bad hours. The best part of the hotel is the front staff...the receptionists helped me with all of my inquiries and one nig one of the bell boys ran out on his motorbike to grab me dinner. Very sweet.

the hotel is located in strategic places at palembang. easy to reach from main city and ampera bridge. but the hotel is lack cleanliness maintained, no window in rooms so the air circulation is noo good and there is a cockroach in the room. i feel uncomfortable stay at this hotel.

Not so new hotel but lovely enough”
I am arriving there around 8.30am in the morning and they already prepare one ready empty room for me. I really appreciate it since the check in time should be 12 noon. In the hotel's complex there is sport center, mini mart, karaoke and restaurant also ATM center. So it is quite complete facilities in one place, seldom found ATM center in hotel. The bathroom is a bit stink but AC very cold. Overall is good hotel compare to its price.

Me & my husband arrived at noon around 15:30. The front office very cooperate and let us in even though we don't have the voucer printed,because we book from mobile & don't have the agoda voucer hotel on print. The facilities in the hotel is good but we don't have time to enjoy it. The breakfast food isn't so good,cause to hommy for a hotel food. The room little bit small for a deluxe size. The lift tooo small & little bit stinky.

Clean & adequate room; very helpful staff”
Our stay was fine. The breakfast is very Indonesian with very few Western choices. The bathroom smelled somewhat of sewage. The internet didn't work for several hours. The pool is nice and big. The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to help us. Because of the cheap price, we would stay there again.
