Could Be Better”
This hotel had a nice location and was very clean. The rooms were basic and seemed to be furnished by Ikea. The hotel front desk staff was not friendly, although the bell staff was fantastic. The pool has no pool towels, which I have never encountered in my many years of traveling. You had to bring your own. Overall it was OK, but I would stay somewhere else if I go back.
Great hotel, great views”
I was there for my honeymoon and the staff was kind enough to upgrade us to a sea-facing room. It's a beautiful hotel with a great view of the pristine sea and castle from the room. The breakfast was good. The only downside was that every little thing was charged, such as water bottles, beach towels, etc so these are things you'll have to carry on your own but otherwise it's a great location, very friendly staff, super clean rooms, the beach is a 2-minute walk down the road and the in-house restaurant serves the best Mozzarella and pesto sandwich in the world. We loved our stay and are happy to have spent 4 days here.
Great service and view!”
I wasn't sure about the carpark but Felix was so sweet to assist with our luggage and even offered to park the car! He even assured me that he will get someone next day to bring the car since he wasnt working the following day. We stayed here for a night and loved every moment of it. Our room faced the sea and going around was so easy and accessible from the hotel, as there was a private stairs from the hotel leading to the beach side. They say first impression tend to make the lasting impression well we do hope to return to Spain and stay here again 😊
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in August 2017. Booked two triple sea view rooms (3 people in each). We received rooms 411 + 412 which are the first floor above the pool and overlook the bay. A higher floor would have been nicer as slightly quieter when the pool is in use (though with the window closed no sounds gets through). The rooms we had were recently renovated and well maintained and comfortable but small. We had a peek in a mountain view room that was not renovated and our room was certainly worth the extra we paid. The views from this hotel are amazing – from the rooms (sea view), the pool, the dining room and the terrace- all overlooking the Tossa de Mar bay. The service was good but not outstanding (constantly had to ask for a third set of towels in our rooms- if you make up 3 beds why not remember to leave 3 sets of towels!) . We are vegetarian and were provided vegan bread and yogurts for breakfast as we don’t eat the normal bread- this was a nice touch but when they offered to provide us a packed breakfast for our last night as we left very early we asked for vegetarian and got normal bread (at 2:30 am you don’t start asking the night manager if there is different bread)- if you do something then do it properly. On one evening there were no vegetarian options on the evening meal menu and when we asked there was absolutely no offer to solve this- quite the opposite- “that is the menu and take it or leave it” was the attitude at the reception. In all decent European hotels I stay in there is at least one vegetarian option or if not the chef will offer to put something together for you. On the evening that we did eat at the hotel the food was good and the bay views and evening sea breeze from the upper exterior dining room are second to none! The pool is very nice and my kids had a great time and the beach is a 3 minute walk- so take your choice. There is a good supply of beach/pool towels which is as expected. Parking I was told when I called in ad
We stayed off season and it was great value for money! Comfortable and clean rooms. You will never find a better buffet breakfast than this! Great views!
I slept 2 nights and I can heeling my mind and body in this hotel thks
Mostly Good Some Not So Good”
Our stay at the Gran Hotel Reymar was in the main excellent, However because my Husband and I are both elderly and have difficulty in walking and although the hotel is ideally situated it was a little too far for our disability to walk the 10 miniutes into the town every evening,So I would say if you have walking difficulties maybe the Reymar isn't for you. We both agree even with the walking we very much enjoyed our stay at The Gran Reymar Hotel and would recommend this Hotel.
The hotel is right on the waterfront with great views from the seaside rooms out over the town. Nice pool, good gym, great views from the restaurant. The exterior of the hotel is a little rundown in places, but the interior and furnishings are great. One small caveat: the wireless codes can only be used for one device, so if you have e.g. an ipad and a laptop, you can only access the internet on one of them.
The hotel offers an excellant location with stunning vistas. Close to the town centre with many restaurants within easy walking distance. The hotel is opposite a small beach which has a bar/snack bar.the breakfast restaurant overlooks the bay with stunning views and offers a comprihensive breakfast including champagne !!
Sehr schönes Hotel in toller Lage”
Lloc ideal. Menjar espectacular. El personal, un amor ...
