Fancy, clean, new, good location”
The hotel is new, fancy looking. Location is excellent, walkable distance to most of the shopping spots in Sapporo. A few affordable car parks are nearby. The public bath looks cool, just the water is not natural hot spring. Food is fair, but everything are better than what I expect for this price. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed taking a bath in the snow! Staff were helpful. Breakfast was good but average - considering the room charge, I’d say it’s quite good. Going through Tanukikoji, it was easy access to Odori park where we enjoyed beautiful ice sculptures. Overall I was very satisfied with my stay at this hotel. Thank you!

The hotel was clean, the rooms were great, the facilities were amazing, and the staff was really kind. It's quite a long walk from Susukino Station (~10 minutes) but the walk is covered so it's bearable in the heavy snow or in the sunshine. I'll be staying at this hotel again when I am back in Sapporo. 早く戻ってきたい！

Staff and room's ambience was good and there s many restaurants/bar choices. ”
It is about 16mins from the chuobus from airport but woth your luggage and on snow. Please expect more than 25mins at least. But the staff try to attend my requests regarding higher floor and not close to elevator. I appreciate it. I also stayed at granbell susukino the bath/spa has a hand towel so I didn't bring small towel to dry. When I found out there was no towel to dry. It was little too late. Please mention during check in or memo in the room to being the towel to public bath. Thank you.

I stayed on a family trip. I saw a lot of reviews saying it was good, but it was easy to understand the explanation because the location was good, the staff was kind, and he had a Korean part-time job. It was a hotel where you can enjoy a hot spring bath in the city center, so it was very good, especially the breakfast was a satisfactory menu.

Truly love the onsen-like bath on the 13th floor, new, clean and peaceful with dim lighting and finally no disturbing ambience music! Please note they will clean the room every each day, not daily. You can call them anytime for extra fresh towels.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE”
I booked 2 rooms, one under my name, and another room under my friend's.name. When we checke-in. I told them our names, and they seems to not find any of my names. And I'm a male. They found a similar name but it was a female. I kept saying I'm NOT HER, and please just give us the 2 rooms. We waited for a LONG time. Then the staffs kept talking among themselves. Later, one staff said I have a luggage for you, and I was like what?? I've no idea what they are trying to achieve. I just said, just give me 2 rooms, it was very late at night already and we just arrived. They finally did, it was 2 rooms, near door on the same floor. And when I opened the room door, someone was inside the room already. Apparently THEY (the staffs) gave my room to the female that has a simliar of my name. IT WAS EMBARASSING. Good thing that the female had her clothes on, or it feels like I commited a CRIME. I went down and told the staff what happened. I'm not sure if they actaully know what they did by switching our rooms at check-in. It was the WORST experience. It is very unexceptable!! I ended up carrying my luggages and check-in to another room on different floor, which is very inconvenient as I assumed I can have a room side-by-side near to my friend's.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.”
To keep it short. We booked 2 rooms. We got our key cards and went to our rooms. One of the rooms were occupied already. I've no idea how low-level mistakes that is. How can they issued a key card of a room that is already occupied. The person inside the room was as shocked as we were. It was embarassing!! I went down to lobby and told the staff what happened. I THINK they just realized that they gave MY ROOM to an unknown person. I've no idea how they can copy our passports and still got the names wrong, and especially we are 1 male and 1 female. Its really unexceptable. This kind of mistake should have NEVER EVER happned again!

Since I am fan of the "Granbell" brand in other cities this was my 3rd times staying in Sapporo Granbell but Considering that this hotel is new hotel, its staff (front desk & cleaning) quality were disappointing. I ended up moving to other hotel. The spa in the 13th floor is very nice but the morning hours were very dirty(with used too brush & litter in the washing area), which was another disappointment. I ended moving to another hotel :(

ホテル横にセブンイレブン、周りにもお店がたくさん。狸小路も近く何でもありました。大浴場には露天風呂もあり最高でした。新しいタオルをリクエストしたらすぐに持ってきてくれました。化粧水や乳液クレンジングも完備。チェックインフロアにも使い捨てタイプで置いてありました。ベッドサイドにはUSBがあり携帯充電便利。ミネラルウォーター無料でお部屋にありました。

Terrible check in procedure ”
The hotel is clean, the room is reasonable for a one night stay. A little small but not big problem. The checkin procedure is a joke. Check in at 3pm which in my experience has always meant you can drop your bags before 3pm but you can’t get into your room until 3pm. In fact, most hotels allow early check in if the room is ready. We got there at 2.50 and were told we couldn’t check in until 3pm. But that we would be called when it was our turn. 10 minutes later it’s 3pm and they tell everyone to form a line. No one had their names called in order. We had to wait 15 minutes in a line to check in. Terrible management. I want the hotel to sort this out. At least have people write their names down and call them in order.

In the heart of city. Walkable distance to shopping malls and beside has a 7-eleven convenient stall. Bed was good. Doesn’t affect partner turn during the night. Perfect for a good rest!
