Nice Hotel, Restaurant not so great”
The staff were nice and most spoke English. We speak enough Indonesian so it wasn't a big deal. We came back from Wamena earlier than our booking, but we were able to book an extra night (at a New Year's price). The spa was very nice after four days trekking. The pool was ok, a bit dirty and often crowded with kids and nannies. The room was great! Very clean, comfortable bed, nice hot shower. The restaurant was the biggest downside. The breakfast was all Indonesian food, and most of the food that was served was more for lunch. There was an egg man, but he didn't make either of our omelettes correctly, either day. We ate there for lunch one day because they did have Western food on the menu, and after 2 weeks of rice, I wanted a sandwich and fries. However, the sandwich did not have everything the description said it had. They do serve beer though, and that is hard to find in Papua.

Friendly and helpful staff, good location”
The room was quite pleasant, and the front desk staff was helpful and courteous. They helped me arrange transportation several times. The breakfast did not have a lot of selection if you have western food preferences, but the Indonesian food was reasonably good. The lobby is spacious and is a good place to meet friends. All in all I was satisfied with my stay at this hotel.

Much of what we rea regarding hotels in Jayapura was misleading. Jayapura is 65 km from Sentani where the airport is.

The room was clean and nice. The bed and pillow was comfortable (four stars). The major disappointment is the breakfast which only serves very limited options. The coffee is horrible, really horrible: tasteless and too much water. The restaurant staff was not attentive and slow. I ordered omelet and it did not happen at all, so I just left. The only positive things about this hotel is the location and the room.

It was nothing like a 5 star hotel. I would give it at most a 3 star rating. The sink was leaking and the internet service was unreliable.

Old hotels in a very good location. When I got into the room, the door was opened, the bathroom is stinky and the bed was dirty so I ask to change the room. The second room a bit better, bathroom is not clean as detailed as it should be on a 5 stars hotels. The linen has some old spots.

I came in with my family in the morning. I was advised to come again in the afternoon because I used Agoda booking and normally check in is after 12. They realise , they didn’t read , I put a note “early check in” on my booking voucher. Anyway , I had to wait almost 1 hour till I get a room. The lift is terrible, due to some reason it can only hold max. 2 person.
