For a 4-star hotel, it is still not perfect. But it's quite okay. (+) strategic location, full food options (+) friendly and helpful staff (+) clean room, very cold air conditioning (+) sufficient amenities, although standard for lower star hotels (+) smart TV even though it's considered small at 32” (+) refrigerator available (+) wifi is fairly fast (+) delicious food (+) clean pool (+) quick room cleaning service (+) affordable price for a 4-star class (-) small bathroom because of the studio apartment room size (-) no view; it faces the neighbor's apartment room 😂 (-) bathroom floor is level with the room floor, which raises concerns about bathroom water entering the room, but it's safe if you’re not constantly using the bathroom since the wet area is level with the dry area (-) water heater runs out quickly; if one person uses it, it's finished, so you have to wait for it to heat up again (-) no bathrobe available (-) no hairdryer available (-) they provide 2 pillows, but when I asked for 2 more, the staff kindly gave them to me (-) it's a bit complicated if you want to go out of the room by yourself because access to the lift toward the room can only be used with a card, so if you want to go out, you have to leave the room entirely. Or you have to ask staff for help to get to the room floor (-) menu is less varied for a 4-star, it doesn't even compare with the variety at a 3-star hotel where I stayed (-) parking is said to be far and outdoor, but the (+) is that there is free valet service, so during the stay, the vehicle is managed by the valet staff Overall, I am quite satisfied with all the services at Hotel Altuz. I stayed for 4 days and 3 nights, and the staff service deserves a thumbs up; they are quick to clean the room, refill amenities, and change towels. I just hope that the (-) points can be addressed or improved. A suggestion for others, book the deluxe room type; it seems more comfortable, and the price isn't much different.
The hotel is nice, I like the room design; it's rare to find a hotel with carpeting in the rooms, and the wall posters are cool. I was lucky to get a nice city view. The swimming pool is great with a lovely view. The only downside is that the hot water often runs out when showering. The food at the restaurant is good, hope they add more variety. Overall, it's okay to stay here; the room is comfortable with twin beds but the mattress is large. The TV is already an Android TV, so it's not complicated to watch YouTube and Netflix.
This new hotel near the STIE YKPN campus, UPN Veteran Yogyakarta, and Atma Jaya University Yogyakarta is easily accessible, strategic, and cool. It has complete facilities, including a gym, swimming pool, meeting room, and good, clean, and spacious rooms. The breakfast menu includes both international and local/traditional options. The drinks are standard hotel offerings. The service from the security, receptionists, and staff is very good. There is only one drawback... The parking is quite far at the back, which can be quite inconvenient if staying during the rainy season.
I just stayed at Altuz Hotel for 2 nights and was very satisfied with the service provided. Here are some things that made me happy: 1. *Strategic Location*: The hotel is located in the city center, making it easily accessible and close to tourist attractions. 2. *Comfortable Room*: My room was very clean, comfortable, and equipped with adequate facilities. 3. *Friendly Service*: The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. 4. *Complete Facilities*: The hotel has amenities such as a swimming pool, gym, and restaurant serving delicious food. 5. *Affordable Prices*: The rates for staying at this hotel are very affordable and in line with the quality of service provided. Drawback: It seems that the walls are not soundproof, because in the early morning when my alarm went off, I was knocked on the wall from the next room.

Thank you Agoda and Grand Altuz, the hotel service was extraordinary from arrival to departure, genuinely prioritizing the comfort of guests. The room was quite spacious and clean; I chose a superior queen room that included breakfast. Coincidentally, while I was staying there, the artist The Lantis was also staying there😁. The view from my room's window was not great in my opinion because it faced an apartment building; maybe next time I can upgrade my room or request a view of Merapi if it is still available. Other facilities were very good, especially on the 10th floor there is a sky bar where you can get a view and a cozy place, especially in the evening, highly recommended, also close to the swimming pool. For breakfast, I would rate the heavy food 8/10, and for desserts 9/10, especially the red velvet, which was incredibly delicious. Overall, the breakfast menu was complete. By the way, the parking lot is quite far from the hotel and you have to go through a small alley beside Kakkoi, but don’t worry, the hotel provides valet service, so we can just relax in the lobby. The location is strategic in the Seturan area with many trendy cafes, next to Kakkoi all-you-can-eat as well. Close to Pakuwon Mall, close to shopping places like Outlet Biru, Zara store, it’s very strategic. I highly recommend this hotel, next time I go to Yogyakarta I want to stay at Grand Altuz, thank youuuu🙏🏻.
