Great resort.. couldn't fault anything..breakfast was yummy good choice of food. Staff were amazing always smiling and nothing was to much trouble. The pool was fantastic with amazing bar staff! Rooms were very clean..we put our sign out for a room clean and after returning from breakfast it was done! Great service. Location was great bar right out the front wiv one man band every night..bonus as a singer myself 😁😁. The massage therapists were on point hey you pay bit extra then on the street but at least you got trained therapists, and at $17 for a full body 1 hr can't complain at all. I've stayed all over Bali for the last 8 years and this was my best resort! I will be back again and again and again. Cheers grand barong! You don't mind paying $60 a night for your guys great service and pride in what you all do..

Pretty good place!”
The staff were so lovely, every single person we met was so willing to help and happy. The hotel is in a brilliant spot, right on poppies lane 2. The only thing I would be mindful of next time, is requesting a room toward the back of the hotel, as there is an adjoining bar at the front. I still slept fine, but it may be worth something to someone. Overall wonderful place, great pools, perfectly clean room and great staff, no negatives.

This place was everything I wanted it to be, needed it to be and surprised me over so many moments, hours, days and in the end the entire stay. The rooms are immaculate, the grounds are curated to an inch of their life, the staff are incredibly kind, diligent, respectful and if you need anything they are only too happy to help. To be honest, I haven’t had the level of professionalism, personal detail, genuine conversation and outstanding service in a very very long time. So long that I thought I may not see it again. Thank you for sharing the way you see the world by knowing how lucky we are to be here and for looking after me like I’ve never been looked after before. I couldn’t give you a higher recommendation and I believe if everyone was able to experience your hospitality they would be better for it.

Fantastic trip made easy by staying in a central location!”
We had a great time at the Grand Barong. Our room was great! I had read reviews that if you’re towards the front it can be a little noisy but this wasn’t the case! Once the door is closed you can’t hear a thing. The staff were so lovely and accommodating. We didn’t have breakfast included but were happy to explore the local restaurants too. Centrally located you can walk anywhere in Kuta! The swim up pool bars were great, we stayed in the front one more so. Can’t fault it for what we paid, i would happily stay here again.

+ Everyone's nice!! They are always smiling and say hi. + The room is really clean. Water and towels are served every day. + Two nice swimming pools. - Drink and sing on the terrace until after 12 a.m. Some late night rooms are like clubs. It was so loud that I couldn't fall asleep early.

25th wedding anniversary trip”
we were a little concerned about how noisy this place was going to be, but we had no problems at all with noise. Great location for all your shopping, everything is definitely within walking distance. Breakfast was beautiful, and different every day. We had a ground floor room, which basically just walked out onto the pool. Probably not the most romantic of places to stay, but would definitely stay here again. Great value.

The hotel is freaking huge, needs a bit of map to navigate around :D !! But the staff are nice and the facilities are good. I asked for hotel pickup, I landed around 2 am, the driver waited for me 2 hours (delayed flight) and was still happy to recieve me! KUDOS to yoda (drivers name ) :D

If you want a hotel you can go to with friends and be in the middle of the chaos the is kuta then look no further. It's a brilliant place to be if you enjoy the clubs scene and don't mind a bit of loud music. You can definitely still relax here aswell but I would mostly recommend this place for a younger audience.

First time in Bali and could have chose a better hotel/location close to beach all the bars, shopping mall etc, hotel staff good and can book all your day trips from hotel was only around £30 to hire a car and driver all day maybe cheaper else where but thought it was good value.
