Absolutely HORRIBLE
The pros are it's right in the city and within walking distance of shops, banks, restaurants and some other things and most of the staff are courteous and nice. The cons are the Wi-Fi works when it wants to. Their routers are very old. The rooms are completely out of date, the floors have cracks and tiny holes. The mattress was very hard like I was sleeping on a piece of concrete but, the pillows are soft. There are only 2 electrical outlets in the room and one is being used by the tv that works when it wants to. The air conditioning sucks. If you turn it on in the evening around 7 pm it might be blowing cold air by around 6 or 7 am. There is hot water that's run by wiring so, be careful taking a shower. You can eat there but, you can save money by going somewhere else. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!! I will sleep on the street before I ever step foot in the Grand City Hotel ever again.

Acceptable
Gordon Ramsey needs to do a makeover of this hotel. It very run down and not maintained. I had breakfast there one morning and was totally disappointed, the food was crap. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Not what I expected
They should change the images they posted in agoda. Remove features/facilties that are not really actually present.

Cheap
Grand City hotel is cheap. I never know what No complimentary breakfast here. I've been charged 350 pesos for 2 240 pesos for 2 and I was charged 265 pesos this morning just by myself. The wifi here completely sucks. You never know when it's going to work. The staff are very friendly and good people. There is a lot to do here with regards to shopping. The traffic here is absolutely horrible and ridiculous. The hotel is extremely out of date and the elevators may work and may not. I booked this hotel room 20 days on Agoda and paid around $300 USD. I have no view from my room except of a concrete wall. The air conditioning is very bad. I have had hot water every day to take a shower which is something I wasn't expecting. The bathroom is functional and everything works as it should. Overall, it's a cheap hotel that has it's pros and cons. The bed and the pillows are very soft and my room is cleaned everyday. I have left money out and my suitcases have not been touched by the staff.
