Excellent resort”
Final review of the Hilton Vallarta Riviera. If you enjoyed the resort when it was the grand fiesta americana puerto Vallarta you still enjoy the resort. It is just as great as it has always been. Restaurants are all still wonderful with almost the same menus, and the service was excellent. During the evening some nights on 2 restaurants were open but most of our stay they were all open. Pool area As good as it has always been. The staff are amazing and very attentive. They go out of their way to make sure you never go thirsty. There is plenty of entertainment around the pool area to keep you entertained and amused. The food by the pool area is my favorite. Room service This seems to be better as they cleaned the rooms daily and seemed to do an overall better job. Management Management did a great job taking care of all your reservation needs. I would suggest that if you booked your reservation when it was the grand fiesta americana puerto Vallarta reconfirm your reservation with Hilton. Bars The following bars are still open Sky, lobby, Mojito, and pool bar. All provide excellent service and great drinks. Children If you're worried about kids being here I would just book your stay when it's not a school holiday. Finally The resort is still as amazing as it has always been. I have stayed here probably more than anyone and we had an excellent time. Can't wait to come back in February and March.

The resort was beautiful and the service was outstanding. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The room is modern and very clean. One of the best places we have stayed in Puerto Vallarta. The view from the room was amazing. Stayed with my 80plus year old parents and they had a wonderful time.

ADULTS ONLY need I say more”
The resort is all inclusive and adults only. The resort is set in a more tropical location only five minutes from town. The view from the room is amazing, and the rooms are beautiful

Great adults only all inclusive”
Shows were pretty amazing (especially the Michael Jackson show!!) Hotel was well kept (I think I recall hearing that this place is only 3 years old?) and the room was very clean—this being my 4th time at a hotel in PV and the only time I wasn’t grossed out by something in the room. Food options were nice. Bar selection was ok—best in the lobby bar but definitely don’t expect anything good at the swim up bar or poolside. Service was great poolside by our boy Rafael! The pools were very nice. Fun music played daily and foam parties 3x week. As far as value for price, I rate this 10/10. We paid <$200/night for two of us and all things considered, we were very pleased with everything there! I had never heard of this booking site, Agoda, but decided to take our chances and we are very please with everything!

They have it all!! Location, Views, Food, and People”
The resort is South of downtown, about an $8 uber ride. All rooms are ocean view with balconies where you can see whales and dolphins play and feed in the bay! The Jacuzzi suites with access to the Grand club were amazing! The food was excellent with something for everyone and the poolside and restaurant service was top notch. I would highly recommend this resort for a relaxing couples trip.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in the cleanness, the activities it offered at the hotel, to the look of the rooms. everything was great ! they have a few restaurants to choose from - I would suggest that the hotel extend the Breakfast hours by a hour , 10 am is too early to shut down to start serving lunch at D Brick. The Italian restaurant was delicious and the Authentic Mexican restaurant. The Asian restaurant was the only one i was slightly disappointed in . the pad Thai did not taste like pad Thai at all. I think they need to revive their Asian dishes and heighten the true flavors of Asian cuisine. Over all , the hotel was one I would definitely recommend and return to.

the hotel was great! the rooms were large and very clean with all rooms facing the ocean. the food was also great. from the buffet to the ceveche restaurant, we didn't have a bad meal. my wife is a vegetarian and all restaurant s were very accommodating to make sure she had a great meal. the drinks were also good, I would recommend going to the martini bar, mojito bar, and the tequila bar after dinner. the only negative is that we were expecting a laid back resort but they had pool parties every day and some late night partiers. the snorkeling and khiaking on the ocean were also very good. we saw all kinds of sea life from turtles to sea urchin's and everything in between. I would definitely recommend this resort and am looking forward to coming back.

This hotel caters to groups and corporate accounts. They will give a group a section on around the pool and push out other guests. They will serve canned beer to the group's while not others. We were pushed out to the fiesta hotel due to accepting groups when others were booked well in advance.

Gorgeous resort and amazing facilities and rooms. However had countless problems with lack of proper management of restaurants leading to significant wait times (1-2 hours) for dinners and limited number of staff leading to delays in the service. There were many frustrated families waiting to eat while there were empty tables. This was only applicable during dinner time- the pool service was quite excellent and speedy. There is a serious need for review of their restaurants’ management.

Perfect 4 day getaway place. Location is isolated with a the resorts personal beach, only 10 minutes from downtown if you feel the need to the leave. Food options are fantastic, drinks come out fast, housekeeping is on the bAll. Over all this was a great place to stay, I would stay here again and refer my friends.

Nice property. Quiet. Food prep cleanliness an issue ”
The resort had “oversold king suites” so we had two double beds. We paid over $2000/3nights. In December the hotel doesn’t get sun on the beach or pool area until ~1pm. You can head to the sky lounge and get a few hours of sun in the morning. The main issue we had was my husband ate ceviche at the seafood grill for a late lunch on New Years Eve. Unfortunately he got food poisoning from it and had to be seen by the resort doctor. He was so violently ill we missed the entire NYE beach party celebration, which was the whole reason we transferred to a resort from our condo. I went down quickly to grab some pasta from the beach buffet NYE party and the waiter (black coat) grabbed the spaghetti with his bare hand, rather than the tongs, before passing to the chef (white coat) who adding sauce and heating it. Food practices like this contributed to the violent illness my husband had after eating in the seafood grill. Because if this I can’t recommend an otherwise lovely resort.
