It was so nice to have convenience facilities (subway, department store, mart, restaurant, etc.) nearby. And the staff members are so kind. When I asked them for help, they did their best to solve the problem, the bed was clean and cleaned every day. I hope many travelers come to this accommodation.

Great price, surprisingly decent facilities for a hostel”
Highly recommend. For the price point and location in center of Hermannplatz, Grand Hostel manages to provide very cleanly accommodations. It's not fancy by any means but for this price, it has everything you need. Staff were friendly, laundry at eur 10 for a load was nice convenience, breakfast upstairs nice but not necessary everyday. Rooms are slightly dated in decor from the 90s (but I kinda liked it), everything is still in good repair and kept clean and working. Surprisingly quiet if you ask for a room racing courtyard, even though outside of the hotel its very busy.

Well connected to the main sights in Berlin by metro, helpful staff, clean and spacious rooms, delicious breakfast. A bit too small lockers - the backpack didn't fit in them.

It was my first experience staying in hostel and had just the best experience! Had so much fun with the workers wish I could visit here again! BEST EVER!!!!! PLEASE if you visit Berlin STAY HERE (stay here)!! And please BOSS of hostel, raise the payment for the workers XD They are super AWESOME The food was great too!!

Nice hotel with a pleasant breakfast restaurant on the top floor; situated in a very busy and loud area (and not very clean area, therefore you are surprised after getting inside), however calm if you ask for a court room. Rooms are large, with led-TV. Little cafe bar by the entrance. 2 Underground Railways just on the corner, 1 park with playgrounds and plenty of little bistros and restos in the neighbourhood. Standard booking online easy, but if you have special questions or needs, it is necessary to wait for the office hours of the manager - not on weekends!

Very helpful, nice and talkative staff. Has ventilation in room and in washroom. Close to u-bahn and a stall plaza. the only thing is about the siren in the night, though it is out of the hostel's control.

I enjoyed my stay here. Excellent location, near to everything. The only thing I didn’t like about was that the noise that the guests are making in the open area. I think it’s the terrace. My room was facing that way and I can hear everybody laughing or talking. The sounds of ambulance are really annoying tho. It’s too loud. Please make your room more…soundproofing. But, all in all I enjoyed my stay.

More than just a hostel”
This Grand Ho(s)tel is located close to a metro station for 2 lines, the bus to the main train station is on the other side of the road and right in front of the entry door is the bus to the airport! The area is very busy with turkish bazars, shisha bars, kebab and chicken restaurants but also asian cuisine. The small but wholesome hotel lobby always smells beautifully of lillys. Everyday there is somebody friendly and competent at the reception. Our room was very spacious and nice, clean and had everything we needed. Definitely a good choice for a stay in Berlin!

This is a very nice hostel to fitted out to hotel standards located in Neukolln, South Berlin. The rooms are excellent is terms of the modern fit especially the really modern beds. My room with 10beds had two onsuite bathrooms and the beds were especailly comfortable. Reception doubles as a bar at the night time which was popular. No self catering kitchen. Recommended if the location works for you.

Booked a private room and it included towels, soap, shampoo and a gluh wine! Staff were helpful and it is right next to the underground so easy to get to the rest of the city. Great!
