Wide open lawns and clean, comfortable rooms give the Grand Hotel Agra a homey appeal enhanced by the welcoming attitude of the staff. Situated in the Kant area of town, the train station and airport are particularly handy, while the Sadar Bazaar and Agra’s shopping centers are only a 15-minute walk away. The property also enjoys some of the cleanest air in the vicinity by virtue of its position just outside of Agra’s bustling city center. Value for money, exceptional service, and outstanding Indian food make this a popular hotel with both foreigners and locals, while its proximity to the Taj Mahal is another obvious advantage. The hotel also organizes cultural shows for the entertainment of guests.
"Overall, Trip was really enjoyable."

worst hotel in agra”
It should be called more of a marriage home rather than hotel. worst service and bad staff. I'll maintained rooms and bad food. location is excellent.

Value for money”
Hotel is widely known to general public transportation services, so it is easy to locate and travel to. Overall, staff is well-behaved & hotel is clean. Caution: Please make sure you have made a good deal to taxi/ car drivers for sight seeing. One cab driver made a deal with me for 20 USD (1000 INR) including tourist guide. But, later on they asked me another 10USD for guide, which was already included. I cancelled the deal and took help of hotel staff to book another one. The car driver & guide suggested by hotel was very polite, honest & good in driving. Overall, Trip was really enjoyable.
This is excellent Hotel. All staffs are friendly. It is centrally located hotel.
VERY GOOD HOTEL”
IT IS VERY GOOD HOTEL. IT IS CENTRALLY LOCATED HOTEL. IT IS BUDGET HOTEL.
Quite terrible actually”
I have never had such a bad experience at a hotel, especially one which charges rather exorbitant rates. Some points: 1. The persons manning the reception desk are curt and unwelcoming. A special mention to who accompanied us to the rooms and wouldn't leave till we tipped him 2. The bathroom was reeking of a dead animal and the best they could do was spray some room freshener 3. Poor amenities - Basic toiletries like shampoos and soaps missing. So was the menu and not to mention the makeshift bed whose mattress kept sliding off, TV that required constant input of password to make it function and WiFi that worked only in the lobby 4. The hotel tries to swindle you at every possible opportunity - Food is inordinately expensive for the average fare on offer. No complimentary breakfast. The cabs booked through the hotel are costly. Perhaps a few of these issues could have been tolerated if it were a cheaper hotel or it didn't flaunt the moniker of "Grand Hotel". This hotel is anything but. It is unprofessionally run with main purpose of making a quick buck at the expense of customer experience. Please give it a wide berth next time you're in Agra.
For the price, Great... Better than many in Agra”
The Grand Hotel is decently located... It isn't new, luxurious, or opulent... Perhaps it was, but the building and facilities are older and the garden and yard needs work. However, it's clean and cheap. The staff let you do your thing and aren't at your door every other minute hoping for a tip. It has a good fitness center and teh breakfast was decent. Overall, it was a good place to stay if you enjoy quite and privacy. Overall hotel conditions are clean but not luxurious and it's probably one of my top choices in Agra if i'm looking for a place to stay.
Good value for money”
This hotel is a good choice, given its location and the price of Agra hotels. Some of the older rooms should be updated to match the standard of the rooms around the garden court.
good place to stay”
the hotel was good with good ambience and location. Except the bathrooms which need to be more clean and maintained. the staff was courteous and the food was good.
Adequate accommodation for money”
Room was clean and comfortable. Restaurant was somewhat expensive but food was good.
Not at all worth the effort and money spent”
Pathetic. The rooms were not ready when we reached and the corridors were dirty as if no one has cleaned them in recent times. Second we had to wait for 45 minutes for the second room. They had joined two single beds which were uncomfortable. The bathrooms were stinking and even after complaining they just sprayed some extra dose of room freshener. It didn't last any longer and even after complaining twice no action taken. I had taken an elderly couple with me and it was embarrassing. Will never in my life recommend this hotel to anyone. Better to stay at 4/5 star hotel property or else come back to Delhi (drive through Yamuna expressway won’t take much time).
not value for money,overpriced”
Our Experiance was so bad at Hotel Grand. ”
Experiance was so bad, Staff was not gud even they did'nt offer us a glass of water, No room Service facility also the room was so Dirty. Hotel Room had Spoil our Trip.
Very good for amount paid”
This is good deal for the money spent. Enjoyable stay. Building was new so clean and comfortable hotel.
Great Stay...Bad food”
Comfortable room with bad food.”
It was comfortable and hygenic. Wish the food quality and quantity were,at par with restaurants in Kolkata, compared to the prices they charge. Its a good hotel dont get me wrong but ONLY FOR THE FOOD If GIVEN AN OPTION TO CHOOSE IN ONE WORD GOOD OR BAD I WOULD HAVE TO OPT FOR BAD DUE TO THE POOR FOOD QUALITY AND QUANTITY. I would advice the head chef and manager of the hotel to visit kolkata for 3 days and eat at various places around our city to know what food quality and quantity are all about.
Comfortable stay in pleasant surroundings”
Pleasant hotel in a quiet area”
Agra is a chaotic city; this hotel is in a quiet location.
Typical Low-End Poor Service”
The hotel itself was on the low end of sufferable but the staff were typical of the low to low-middle range of hotels in India: rarely rude but wholly unresponsive with the far-away look of 5000 years of non-violent see-the-larger-cycle of stealing your money. And yes, I returned to find a charge on my credit card statement from the Grand Hotel which I didn't make. In all fairness, this wasn't the only hotel that did it. For what it's worth, I had read 20 years worth of Indian religion and culture (including studying Hindi) and other than the Taj Mahal found nothing redeemable about travel in India except to see with my own eyes how filthy life can get. Viva Materialisma.
