An Enjoyable Stay”
If you would like a small, friendly hotel (and the staff couldn't be more helpful) I would certainly recommend this hotel. We had a party of eleven over a few days and were all very taken with the friendliness of the staff. There shall certainly be repeat visits to Paris and my first port of call for accommodation will be the Grand Hotel du Bel Air based purely on the warmth we received from the hotel owner and staff. It makes such a difference to your trip and all the more enjoyable.

a worth place to stay”
i found hotel easily without maps. Location is wonderfull! It takes not too much time to walk to centre and about 5-10 min on metro without transfer! Nearby the hotel there are a food market and many of bars. Some of them are really french! The stuff is very helpfull and open to any assistance! I've got an iron on demand. Many thanks to Helen for assistance in choosing bus tour! Rooms are different. Mine was very small, but nice and with all nessessary inside. For travelling with partner you must check your room befor booking for size! Air condition systems are also needed to check. On weekends you can find a food market on the opposite side of the street! Recommend to visit! Dont't doubt in choosing Grand Hotel du Bel Air!

small but clean and well maintained room”
I took a single room and spent three days in this hotel. To be honest, I was shocked by its size at the first sight. The room is rather small and the bathroom can barely hold a big guy. However, it's still quite comfy with almost everything that you'll need (towels, shampoo&conditioner, shower gel, hair dryer,safe and etc.),and the staffs do their clean job everyday and very well. The location is quite good as well. Only 5 minutes walk to the metro and railway station. And there are many restaurants nearby. The hotel owner can speak English fluently and is very nice and helpful, although he had forgotten to remind me there was a strike on the ERE towards the Charles DE gaulle airport when suggesting me this route and I had to grab a taxi at the railway station later since there was little time left. Overall, this hotel is quite worthy of money considering the high price of Paris and is a lovely and convenient place to stay.

Old world charm”
We stayed for a short night so we did not explore the area. We chose this hotel as it is one of the cheaper hotels in Paris, located in a safe neighbourhood and only one stop away from Gare du Lyon where we were going to take the train. There are many brasseries around to enjoy the buzz of a Parisian evening with great food and wine. The hotel is just next to a fruit store and bakery. The hotel is old and rundown. The lift is old fashioned and really really tiny, as in, only 1 person plus luggage. The room is small. But for the price in Paris, we did not expect much. The owner was nice and even told us where to go to see interesting sights. Overall its a nice outing inspite of the short stay.

Good hotel for the price”
The best thing about this hotel is its location: Just a few hundred meters from the metro station "Nation", you can reach all of Paris within minutes. The receptionist was exceptionally friendly, that was really great! Also, they offer parking for 20€/day, which is a good price for Paris. As with most hotels in Paris (or at least that's what I experienced so far in my 5+ previous stays), you should not expect perfectly cleaned rooms, but for me, it was sufficient for the price. The rooms could need some renovation works, still ;-) I would stay here again!

Personnel create the atmosphere”
So it's small cozy hotel very close to Nation metro station, which makes your stay very comfortable in a point of transport. In the same building with hotel you can find also a Patisserie and grocery store open till late hours. We got a room in the roof floor and it was a little bit dark, because of very small windows, but it also create some romantique atmosphere. We found few small unpleasantnesses according with cleanness, but at all the room worth money you pay for it. But the most exceptional in this hotel is staff. We were so welcomed and appreciated so it makes our stay unforgatable!

I love the warm welcome of the hotel personnel. they had provided us with information, maps and other necessary things to use during our stay. Location is convenient to all tourist attractions, with easy access to all transportation vehicles. i would definitely choose this hotel for my next visit.

helpful English speaking staff, cclose to all amenities, metro only 5 minutes walk away. I had top floor room which was different, clean, compact, dated old quality hotel. Must be one of the biggest weekend markets just around corner on a Saturday. Convenient to all shopping close by. Would recommend to anyone looking in the mid range and would stay there again

An old hotel in very convenient location for Paris visitors. The Metro is just a five minute walk away. My room was on the top floor, up a *very* narrow staircase. Simple facilities, very small shower and WC (couldn't close the bathroom door while using the toilet). A large ceiling fan, which came in handy. Bed was soft, but big. No bed bugs here. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would book again.

Livings around are very convenient”
We arrived hotel with big suitcases the lift is almost one person available with personalstuff. Room is clean but mine is in loft, the bathroom is special design but too small. WIFI signal was available but no login access while my stay.. no internet connection at all, luckily I stayed just one night! All to all, room is ok for short visiting not more than two days!
