Centrally located near a great many popular tourist attractions, the 81 rooms at this long-standing establishment are a suitable mid-range option. Nearby extremely popular attractions that everyone simply must see when visiting include Montmartre village, the Avenue des Champs-Elysees, and the Louvre museum. The St. Lazare train station is directly across the street, so getting to just about any location in the city should not be a problem at all. Be sure to check out the nearby Les Ambassadeurs restaurant where award-winning dining has been winning the accolades of past diners for years. A convenient location and a reasonable price for what is offered makes this hotel a fine choice for a centrally located Parisian hotel.

Great location with poor service”
Hotel was located near to many of the hotspots (e.g. Galeries Lafayette Haussmann, Printemps Haussmann, Paris Opera and etc) in Paris with walking distance. Basic amenities were available in the hotel and there are convenient store within 3 minutes walking distance from the hotel. However, service provided by one of the staff was not that friendly. Requested whether there is other available room after found out that the door cannot be locked properly but was being rejected without checking for the availability. Overall still satisfy with everything.
Very good”
The building is a bit old same to the rooms. But the room was clean. Good location with restaurants nearby and the train station. Staff was helpful to keep our luggage for us after we check out as we went out to explore the city before we leave Paris.
Cheap hotel in a great location but very uninspiring/run down room”
The hotel was in a great location 2 minutes from the metro and RER and an easy walk to sights such as the Arc de Triomphe and lovely Parc Monceau. The hotel itself is fine however the room(s) are less than inspiring for a couples holiday. The wallpaper was dirty/peeling which was even more noticeable because the room was also bare of decor. The walls also felt paper thin which did not give the room a sense of privacy. Our bathroom door had also jusy been painted which we were not made aware of when checking in. We only found out when we got paint on ourselves when using the bathroom. We did not complain about any of this as we paid a really cheap price (£59 per night) and did not feel any other rooms would be different (other than the paint) however it definetely did affect the overall employability of our stay here as a young couple in Paris. I would recommend it only as a short stay for a solo traveller.
Hotel with excellent location”
The hotel is located beside the train station Saint-Lazare, from there you could go to any attractions that you like. The staff are friendly and they provide free hot water since there is no kettle in the room. I had a very pleasant stay. You could walk 10 mins to Galleries Lafayette. There are many restaurants and markets nearby.
Good place and no pot”
Next to Saint-Lazare very convenient to take bus, metro and train even a walk. Good price but there was no electronic pot to have some coffee or tea. The other things are good.
Great bargain, central location and helpful staff”
I requested an early check in as my flight was due to arrive in Paris at 5 am. However, the night auditor didn't bother to help, only said that I should wait for the Receptionist. Luckily, the day Receptionist was a friendly, helpful lady who took a look at my booking and saw that I have made the request and gave me a room, understanding that I came from a 14-hr flight. Breakfast was basic continental, but enough to give you something warm before heading out to explore the city. The rooms though, could use an upgrade. The toilets most especially. The rooms are from 1970s with curtains out of rings, badly mended bed covers. I could live with that as I only sleep in the room. The toilet however, needs to be renovated. The smell of the toilet leaks from under the gap of the toilet door. It was difficult to sleep. Solution? I stuffed a towel in the gap. It lessened the smell but I think it comes from the wall between the toilet itself and the room.
Great location for shoppers!”
This is pretty old hotel but still well maintained, conviniently located just next to Saint Lazare Station, 10 minutes walking distance to Printemps department store and the famous Gallery Lafayette, For those shoppers looking for budget hotel for great location in Paris!
Nice room with a view”
Great hotel, but would have been good to have a restaurant and a lobby bar. Staff was very friendly, and room was nice and tidy.
Good value, but no air conditioning”
Location is excellent and the hotel is quite convenient. The only problem is that there was no air conditioning. We were there in August and the room was very hot. Apart from that, it was nice.
Best location but not worth the money”
Hotel staff were great and helpful. Location is great. It’s very closed to metro station. We stayed here for two nights in triple room. The room is perfectly fit for 3 persons. The elevator is quite small. It can serve 2 persons, if you travel with the big luggages. The big problem of this hotel is the wall. Ot’s so thin. We can hear the noise of the next room and what people say in the walk way.
Exceptional”
very good location and very friendly staff and kept our bag. it has a lift. very convenient and our room was very nice.
Good location and value for money”
Great stay during in Paris
GREAT location, old hotel.”
There where this one guy, a older one. So helpful, made a lots of jokes and he where just a wonderful person. The rooms is old, no air-con in out room. We did have a balcony, big plus! If you only want a good location then choose this hotel. If you want a high standard, then choose another one. We were just 2 guys interrailing so couldnt care less about the standard, but we only wanted the location.
A Good Hotel For Tourist”
Early check-in was allowed on request. That saved a lot of time on arrival day. Day time Manager at reception was very considerate and cooperative.
Great location”
Great location. Very close to metro St lazare exit 8. Also, many malls around. U can easily walk around. There is a super market at B1 in st lazare mall. Can buy water and wines in very cheap price. Walk to Lafayette about 10 mins. Walk to rossiy airport bus station about 10 mins too. But the hotel is very small and old.
Excellent”
Convenient location next to the railway station which means a lot of people and trash on the street. No standing shower curtain, must sit in tub.
Tiny but clean sheets in good location”
No air-con so if you are traveling during summer it will be too hot to sleep. Safe was also not working. Carpet is old and needs changing but bed sheet was nice and clean. Location is great and stone throw from metro. I managed to book the room at a good rate hence my recommendation. If it’s anything pricier I’d differ in opinion.
Disappointed as quality not meet the price”
I am very disappointed with this hotel. With this price, I can't understand why the room don't have air conditioner. The only good thing, is that the hotel is very well located with public transport nearby: subway (MRT), bus, bus to CDG airport.
Good Hotel”
Very close to Saint Lazarre train and bus station (approximately 3 min walking), making it easier to commute to other places.
Ok for an overnight”
It's an inexpensive room in a good location. The mattresses had stains on them which were disconcerting, but the sheets were clean. Inconveniences include no shower curtain in the tub, and that the air conditioner is controlled by a remote control you must borrow from the front desk.
