Location was great as off the main square, and walking distance to the sights. the rooms and reception were Art Deco. Great city to visit. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. A very pleasant experience

The elevator was broken for 5 days after staying for 7 days. This is a 4 star hotel. It's ridiculous... There is a waiter at the counter who has a bad cold. This kind of service quality is not good

New Du Midi Hotel Montpellier review”
The New Du Midi Hotel in Montpellier had received great reviews so I was not surprised - but very pleased - when I found it to be one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. It boasts a perfect position right on Place la Comedie and the staff were so incredibly helpful and eager to make my stay as pleasurable as possible. The rooms are big and the hotel walls a delightful canvas of unique artwork. i would recommend it to anyone visiting Montpellier

Wonderful hotel with excellent service”
the new du midi hotel (formerly the grand du midi) is a delightful hotel. the rooms are a little on the small side, as with most european hotels, but beautifully furnished and appointed. the general decor of the public areas of the hotel is superb - a really pleasing modern interpretation of the classical style. perfectly located within walking distance of the station. we plan to stay there again next year.

Charming and modern ”
We enjoyed our stay at the Grand Hotel - it's very French in its design and obviously history. Loved the cute balcony in our room. You can't beat the location, it's right next to Place de la Comédie, in the middle of town and inside the car free zone - be aware though, there's still cars around. We caught a taxi when arriving at the train station - not worth it unless you have masses of luggage. It's only a 5minute walk, even with a suitcase in each hand. The bathroom was really spacious, something you rarely find in hotels, and so was the rest of the room. We didn't eat at The Grand, but we did enjoy a free welcome drunk in the newly opened hotel bar upon arrival. We were the only souls there, but maybe it has picked up after the official opening.

Interesting old building next to Opera Square/OldT”
The hotel is at the edge of old town, right next to the main Opera Square, close to restaurants, cafes and museums. Large airconditioned rooms, grant staircase and old elevator, comfortable beds, minibar. We had a very nice comfortable stay. The hotel had double windows which cut out noise from the street and allowed one to sleep well despite being in the middle of town. The only issue was that the internet was unreliable. After a couple of days, I could no longer connect to it unless I was in the breakfast room. The good thing about the breakfast was that it was available from 6:30 am to noon! Great for jet-lagged visitors!

Location is just around the corner from Place Comedie and old city center. Room/bathroom very clean, breakfast with good choices of food. Plenty restaurants nearby, and plenty shopping in the streets of old town.

Excellent Location & Beautifully Decorated!”
I love this hotel. It's only 3 mins from the main train station and facing the main square where most of the cafes and shops are located. The hotel staff are so friendly. Every room is equipped with a Nespresso coffee machine. I love this hotel! We feel very safe in this place.

Conveniently located”
The hotel beds were comfortable and the shower was amazing. The only grip we had was that the complimentary beverages e.g. coffee, tea, mineral water were not replenished daily.

Location is perfect. Couldn't ask for a more perfect spot. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We had room 101 with the terrace and it was very enjoyable.

Quiet place off the main strip”
this was just a sleeper for us as we were catching the train to barcelona the next day. for all that we wanted to do (sleep) this place was fine. the beds were comfy and the aircon helped us sleep through the heat

It was a bad choice to stay in i even couldn’t open the room window to have fresh air because of the bad smell and the street noise, the decor very dark and gloomy the lighting was so poor
