We don't expect things to be smooth in life as things happened unexpectedly, but the hotel staff is taking the effort to help in sorting things out is unbelievable. Great management, great working staff and professionalism.

Good
Rooms small. Booked a room for 4 adults. Were supplied a room with a king size bed, a lounge that converted to a bed and a pull out type portable bed. The last 2 not really suitable for adults who want a comfortable sleep. Luckily we were only 3 adults as there would have been no room for 4 in this room without tripping over each other.

Very Busy Hotel
None
If you want a quiet and comfortable hotel with pleasant service, this is not the hotel for you. The hotel is set up for tour groups and everything is processing line, from check in to breakfast. As an independent traveller, you are pretty much on your own. Room is basic and no coffee making facilities. The room is really designed just for you to lie down for the night which is what you need in a group tour. Reception staff is not helpful and curt even to the point of being rude. Hotel is located by the Arno river and opposite a park. Nice area but to get to town center, it's about half hour walk. It can be hard work coming back when you are tired. I stayed there only because it is convenient for my business associate to pick me up in the morning to get us out to the suburbs. If you are an independent tourist, stay somewhere else. This hotel is expensive and you will sure get better deal somewhere else.

This is the worst hotel I had in my life.
This is the worst hotel that I have ever stayed. This place is terrible. The hotel room is way too small. The bath room is tiny with the money we paid is not worthy at all. The worst thing is the hotel receptionist does not understand the national language "English" and when you ask the question to them they shouted on you loudly. Same thing happened in the down stair garage manager. The day I parked my car into the garage, the attendant did not give me any ticket for the parking but only instructed where to park the car. After two days later, I paid the packing fee for $28 Europe for two nights when I wanted to pick up my car the garage manager shouted on me with the Italian language with very impolite manner for over than 10 minutes. The parking fee is way too high compare to most of the hotel that I stay in Italy and this hotel is the worst from the service and room size. This is the only place let me feel very uncomfortable comparing to any of the places that we stay in Italy for last 17 days. I will never never go back to this hotel. This hotel is very prejudice to Chinese and any oriental race.

Decent hotel but they wouldn't turn on A/C for us
Lobby area was nice, breakfast buffet was GREAT, view of quiet bush area from out room
It was below average for ONE big reason. It was 75 degrees outside and we were on the top floor so it was soooooo hot in our room, we said our air conditioning wasn't working and they said it isn't turned on until summer and it was only mid-April. It happened to be very hot that week and we had to leave our window open all night just to make it bearable and I ended up with about 20 moquito bites myself which really made me dislike the hotel! Breakfast was great though. Staff barely spoke any English at all which was frustrating. The hotel is a ways away from the sights. I wouldn't recommend, next time I'd stay closer to the sights and make sure it has AC if it's going to be warm. There was a nice park across the street, if you have a dog that's a bonus

Convenient Hotel in Florence
Convenient Location, Walking Distance to Attractions, Just outside the central restricted area
Hotel is mainly catered to group tours so it can be busy at times. Hotel is old but maintenance is decent. Location is just on the Arno river and you can walk into town in 15 minutes. Room is quite small but you are not in Florence to look at the room. The food in bistro next to the hotel (called the Outside Bistro!) is very nice and if you want to charge to your hotel bill, you need to tell the waiter before you order.

Modern rooms but packed with tour groups
Modern and clean rooms with amenities and free wifi
loved the rooms with the free wifi and they were newly renovated. nice balcony overlooking the river. location was about 15minutes walk to the heritage city area. cons include a jaded lobby area and many tour groups. as there are not many lifts, access to higher floors can potentially be quite slow if there are returning tour groups. food spread for breakfast is also very limited and of fairly poor quality. rooms do not have air-conditioning and only heater and might potentially get stuffy during summer/autumn. guest can open the window but road infront of the hotel is a busy road with plenty of noise and ambulances!
