Our 4th Stay Here”
Quality is always first class. Easy walk from the train station. Not in the center of the city but we prefer that because it is quieter.

Awesome week in Florence ”
Artistic and awesome hotel. So much things to see. But kind of small, but so do the rest of hotel in the area. Very polite and helpful staff. My only complaint would be the fragrant used. Kind of too much that it cause me headache.

Choose room wisely!”
Location is great and the customer service are friendly try to help. My main issue was the room given to us was not even close to the picture (tried tirelessly to change it yo no avail). Our room was long and thin where you must walk sideways between the bed and tv to reach the other side of the room and the bathroom. I was promised a better ( same category room, not even an upgrade) on only the last two nights (I booked 4 nights) I hoped they would make it up with an upgrade on the last two nights but I was disappointed that they didn't offer nor did I want to ask. Breakfast was good but nothing spectacular, juices were not fresh and there wasn't a station for eggs or waffles to order only scrambled eggs. Not to aound picky but I honestly expected much more ever all from such a pricey hotel (peak season albeit). Valet parking at €35 per night is pretty much standard but VERY convenient, where you park by the door and they park it nearby.

Not worth it compared to previous years”
Price paid for the hotel is not worth it compared to previous years. It also depends on the room you will get. We will probably not coming back or recommend the hotel anymore. We had a late check-in with no compensation. “We will call you when we are ready. Feel free to go to our restaurant and have a lunch…” In a room on the first floor, the Wireless didn’t work. The air flow of the air conditioner was directly on the bed. There was dust on the side tables. Room with very narrow windows - looked more like a prison. Bathtub with a black spot/rust - damaged. No isolation at all. We could hear the children in the rooms nearby. Previous year, the swimming pool had chairs for sunbathing, where guests could enjoy the experience of the swimming pool. This year, those chairs were removed and now guests have sofas with notices that the chairs should be used for bar consumption. As guests arrive, employees in the swimming pool are focused only on selling drinks - not with the experience. Prices of the drinks seem to have increased 20% vs last year, at least in some items. Swimming pool with steady and dirty water - the water circulation was not working 100% of the time. Gym with 1 defective machine. Toiletries were like an average hotel, at least in our room. The only thing that stayed the same as last year was the excellent breakfast and the employees there, always providing a 5 stars service.

The Grand Hotel Minerva is centrally located, a short walk to everything - museums, historical sights, train station, and the best gelato in the city! Piazza di Santa Maria Novella is always bustling with artists and activities. Their roof top pool was great for unwinding after a day spent touring museums. The rooftop pool also has a wonderful view of the city. The staff was helpful, polite, and professional. My family and I had a wonderful three days at The Grand Hotel Minerva. I recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Florence.

Florence 2018”
We stayed at the Grand Hotel Minerva Florence for 4 nights in August. We were there for a wedding in Tuscany and to celebrate our friend's 50th birthday. On arrival we were upgraded to a Suite which was fabulous!!! the room, the breakfast, the staff and the well needed roof top pool and bar were all excellent - the hotel was like an oasis in a very hot city. The service and levels of cleanliness were 5 star. In fact the hotel should have a 5 star rating. We would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone and can't wait to stay there again

This hotel has 100 newly renovated rooms that are great. Staffs are all friendly and helpful. ”
My family of four enjoyed our stay at Grand Hotel Minerva very much. The room was clean and spacious. Complimentary breakfasts were very delicious and lavish. During our six nights there, we totally felt like at home even we were thousands miles away. The staffs were so friendly and very helpful. 3 minutes short walk to train station was a fantastic added value if you like to visit the nearby areas. The only thing I am not sure about was dinning at their own restaurant on the first floor. Can't say that we had a satisfying experience.

Great location, comfortable hotel”
We stayed five days at the Grand Hotel Minerva and we’re comfortable the entire time. The bed was firm-not too firm, the room was a comfortable size and the staff attentive, but not intrusive. We booked breakfast with the room and the breakfast buffet offered a plethora of choices which was nice given the length of our stay. The bar area was a wonderful place to decompress after a day of touristing before heading out for an evening meal. The location can’t be beat. Close to the train station and all of the major sights.

Excellent hotel”
The Grand Minerva Hotel is an excellent and awesome hotel. Staff was accommodating and kind. The breakfast was delicious! This place is located near St. Maria Novella, one of a historical church in Firenze. The hotel staff will provide you to a walking distance self-tour guide for you. Will stay in this hotel again for sure!

Oasis of calm in Florence”
Two nights here and I am bowled over by this hotel. Staff are great, friendly and knowledgeable (special mention for Alessia on reception), excellent breakfast selection and spotless, comfortable room with very efficient aircon and powerful shower. After a day sightseeing in the heat and crowds, the rooftop pool was a godsend to cool off, lots of people enjoying it so it's a splash around rather than a swim. But sitting up there with feet cooling in the water, glass of red wine in hand and watching the evening sun light up the whole of Florence, what could be better? 5 minute walk to the Duomo (go early as the queues are horrendous) and all the major sights are walkable easily, the rail station (for both trains and buses) is also very close. Hotel is on large square with minimal traffic noise. Maybe I was very lucky and got a late booking at a good rate, but it was incredible value for such a good hotel. Extras (pool bar etc) are not cheap, but Florence is not a cheap city. Highly recommend and hope to go back with husband next time (travelling with son). Thank you for a superb stay and making our visit to Florence so memorable.

9/10 Location, price, staff and cleanliness all top notch ”
5 mins from Firenze SM Novella stn, 10 mins to duomo, 15 mins to ponte vecchio. Location was awesome....hotel was contemporary newly renovated, breakfast was good, staff v friendly! We chose this hotel because of the location from the station, after arriving in Rome we took the train to Florence and we walked to the hotel and it was very close. We booked the junior suite as there were 3 of us in a room. The room was bigger than expected, bathrooms were clean, great towels and newly renovated and the hotel provided a free minibar daily restock during the renovation period. ( we had no disturbances during the renovation) I would highly recommend this hotel to people who want a nice quiet clean hotel with great service and don't mind walking around in Florence.
