Location, location, location
the hotel was nice but very dated, could do with a revamp. rooms where quite big we didn't eat at the hotel, went down and had drinks in the bar a few times, was nice when they had the music playing but it wasn't very often best things about hotel was the location, it was easy walk to a lot of points of interest.

Hotel needs a a facelift
Location, staff, history
The stay was okay, but it was during one of the red smog alerts, so not a very pleasant one. The hotel has a great legacy, but it is a bit tired and could use a refurbishment. The staff were very helpful and the location is convenient, but with so many choices in Beijing, I'm not sure I'd stay here again.

Great Service and awesome Location
Friendly staff, right next to tiananmen, beautiful beds
We were running the Beijing marathon, so we checked out late and the hotel was very gracious and supportive. The rooms are beautiful and the big beds all have such a wonderful Chinese feeling.
