Cozy room with a view”
during my trip to macau, i chose to stay at the grand hyatt macau hotel, located in the cotai area between the islands of coloane and taipa, off the tip of macau peninsula, china. packed with a spacious and tidy rooms, this is the hotel that made you wanted to stay more than just a few nights. with incredible view from the heights of the room, the night view in macau is pictured at the large window in our hotel room. dining in this hotel was a superb sensation. the beijing kitchen served you with the best cooking from china, including peking duck, while the lounge is so comforting with choices of champagne and wine. definitely a place worthwhile to be stayed in.
A wonderful experience”
We had booked this room to spend our anniversary and we were surprise that the hotel was so attentive that they send up a little cake for our little celebration. As it was our first trip to Macau the first impression was wonderful as upon our arrival we were brought up to the club fool to check in without the hassle to wait and queue in the lobby. Everything was there at the club lounge to facilitate the guest. Just to mention the staff Ms Haruka ,she was very attentive and informative to guest as to let the guest have a pleasant stay at the Grand Hyatt. Both of us really appreciate the assistance given to us by Ms Haruka for making our stay at Hyatt a memorable one.A thumbs up and very much recommended for the club room and club access! As compare to Sheraton we will still choose to stay in Grand Hyatt if we will go back ro Macau again.
Superb Experience in Macau”
Our stay at the Grand Hyatt Macau was a complete wow. Every one of the staff went out of their way to make our stay special. We recommend the club rooms and suites; access to the Club Lounge was a great bonus, with its live kitchen at breakfast and evening canapés. The hotel is adjacent to the House of Dancing Water, an easy walk to the Venetian complex and convenient for the central Cotai Strip. We thoroughly recommend this hotel and can't wait to return! Top tip is trying the hotel's Egg Tarts in the Lobby Lounge; absolutely superb!!
Great hotel in City of Dreams”
we had a great stay at the grand hyatt macau. we were upgraded to a suite at no extra charge and the room was very clean, modern, nicely appointed, with huge windows. the outdoor pool is quite huge. we ate dinner at mezza 9, which was fantastic!!!! that was a big surprise of the stay. we had some traditional macanese food, very good wine, and the service and atmosphere there were great. the chef we saw was quite precise, which is great to see!!!! the hotel is located in the cotai area, in the city of dreams complex -- great if you want to see house of dancing water.
Great rooms with good access to Macau attractions”
We stayed at the Grand Hyatt Macau for 5 nights with 3 children, 2,5, and 7 years old, in the grand suite room. The suite was large, both beds were double beds. My partner and myself fit well within the one bed with our baby daughter in the middle. Our 2 older boys slept well on the other bed. Then there is the lovely sofa in the lounge, nespresso machine, classy chinese tea...........all brand new, spacious, modern, clean......We can go on forever. Location wise it was good, within the city of dreams complex, opposite to the venetians, complimentary shuttles to literally anywhere in Macau, airport, ferry, other casino complexes, taipa city centre where there's alot of yummy food...... The buses were new and clean and feels very safe to sit in. The aircond was a comfortable temperature. We celebrated our 10th year wedding anniversary there, and when we arrived there was a nice chocolate cake waiting for us on the kitchen bench. Thanks! we really appreciated it!
A wonderful experience!”
The room was beautiful, new, clean and spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is part of the City of Dreams comprising of Crowne Plaza Hotel and Hard Rock Hotel. Despite being in Taipa Island instead of Macau, the free shuttle services provided by the hotel served to be very convenient. They provide free shuttle buses from the airport to hotel, hotel to Taipa City, Venetian and MGM Grand. Waiting time of the shuttle service was 5-10 mins. Overall, I would stay at the Grand Hyatt Macau again in my next visit.
Posh and beautiful hotel with great location,”
this year march 2011 was my first stay at grand hyatt macau hotel and i loved it so much that made me came back in november 27 2011 to stay in the same hotel. the room is spacious, clean, bright, the bathroom is luxurious, very bright and sparkling clean. the location of the hotel is very convenient, going to the casino is so easy, getting to the airport is just 10 minutes by hotel shutter bus. the service staff were very friendly and helpful.
Modern Hotel, Designer Room”
Grand Hyatt Macau one of the hotels located in "City of Dreams", excellent location connecting with the shopping mall (grand international shops) and Casino. I like the interior design of the room and we can play the music by the user friendly system by our own mp3 (also apply to Apple series products). Only 1 thing to be improved. The service of front desk staff, not everyone can speak in Cantonese, u should find the right one to communicate, and i met a moody staff there, he told me cannot find my booking, after that he did few phone calls, of course, he found my record finally!!! but he even didn't appologise to me!! except this guy, all the staff are helpful and reliable.
Wonderful hotel with great service!”
Our stay in Grand Hyatt Macau was memorable. Upon check-in, I was impressed with the service attitude of the reception staff and the concierge staff. We were upgraded to a King suite with a airport facing view. The suite was on the 16th floor, it was roomy, cosy and clean. It comes with a capsule coffee machine and good list of drinks in the fridge. The room service provided was commendable. I will recommend to my friends to stay in this hotel when visiting Macau. Will definitely consider to return again.
Lovely Hotel, Great hospitality and Fantastic room”
There are three Big hotels within the same area, Grand Hyatt, Hard Rock and Venation. Although Venation was the one too hyped, I selected the Grand Hyatt thanx to the deal that I got on Agoda, My trip there was only one night and that is actually enough if you do not intend spending any time relaxing in the hotel room. But for me the moment I entered the hotel room I just wanted to spend the rest of my day there in the room itself, so I went down to get myself extension for a day only to realize that the price was almost double of what I had booked it on Agoda.
Pretty alright digs”
although i've not stayed there, the grand hyatt in hong kong is one of my favourite hotels, with its extravagant but tasteful decor and its mix of spaces. so i expected much the same with its sister in macau. the design of the outside and of the public areas is comparatively rather bland and unoriginal, but i loved the first sight of the room: minimalist, clean, very soothing, and i enjoyed my stay there. but convenience has been sacrificed to design purity: when you're in the bath you can't reach the taps or soap holder, water usage is almost inescapably excessive, you have to almost climb out of bed to flick the light switches. i had no complaints about the service, the attitudes of staff, and so on: i certainly received very efficient and charming attention at check-in and check-out. the only restaurant i tried was the beijing kitchen, which i admired. of course there is plenty to choose from in terms of things to do nearby, and although taxis are sometimes hard to get the shuttle bus is fairly frequent and thus access to other parts of macau are easily managed. i enjoyed the hotel.
Spacious room and attentive service”
the moment we stepped into the hotel, we were promptly guided to the fastest check-in queue and the staff served us with a great attitude and a smile. unlike many other macau hotels, the lobby of grand hyatt does not reek of smoke. the room layout is unique. there is a nice bath tub looking out to a great view. the bed is comfortable and we especially like the sofa area where we can chill/work/watch tv. the concierge is top notch and always know where we want to go. upon check out, we were again promptly guided to the fastest queue, which proves that the service first time round is no fluke.
Very Comforatble Hotel with excellent services”
A very comfortable hotel with great services; it is close to the city centre & ferry terminal (shuttle bus provided). Grand Hyatt is one of the three hotel from City of Dreams, it is also a higher end hotel; though, the price is a bit pricy given that we can go to Las Vegas for the same price for a 4D3N trip (hotel + flight inclusive) from Canada. The theatre for the famous “The House of Dancing Water” show is right beside the hotel’s lobby; The Casino is quite new compare to other hotels, but lacking of variety of games since the casino’s focus are mainly on the Mainlanders. I would definitely stay @ Grand Hyatt again if the price isn’t this high.
Awesome and spacious room”
The stay at Grand Hyatt Macau Hotel was fantastic. We totally enjoyed our stay there. Upon check in, i requested for a room nearer to the lift lobby and the staff changed the room for me immediately. The room was so spacious and clean. i will go back to stay at Grand Hyatt Macau when i am going there for my next trip!
booked a grand suite twin for 1 night last dec 2, 2011. checking in was fast, front desk courteous and sweet. i was given free tickets for 5 for the bubble show, i thought based on the previous reviews, only 2 tickets are free per room per night stay. as we entered our room, was amazed by the room size, 2 big twin beds with a living and dining areas. a big plus was the espresso coffee machine.beds so so comfy and pillows so so soft. bathroom so sparklingly clean. a wide screened tv provided in bedroom and living room. we watched the dancing waters show at 8 pm, the theater is near the hotel lobby, so convenient. the show is one of a kind world class, spectacular performers with breathtaking stunts by motorbikes towards the end of the show. the food paradise at crown plaza near the bubble show theater offers affordable food, and just a short walk from this hotel.as we checked out the next day, concierge was polite and helpful as we stored our luggages, since we went to venetian hotel to watch the cirque du soliel, a must- see if you visit macau. overall, i really dont have regrets booking grand hyatt hotel for our family's 1st macau experience.
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Grand Hyatt. The location is at the heart of the Cotai strip. We got to the hotel early and our room wasn't ready and that was expected. The professional staff took my number and surprising notified us within an hour that the room was ready. The service was consistently great throughout our stay. The rooms are spacious and nicely appointed with modern amenities. The location was great to visit other hotels and casinos nearby as well. We'll definitely be returning to this hotel.
Beautiful hotel and a great location. ”
i only had one night at the grand hyatt this time but this is the second time within a year i have stayed at this location. i find the staff are very friendly and the hotel is close to many casinos, including the venetian which is just across the road. i was awarded a free upgrade which was a nice gesture. the hotel facilities and rooms are first class and great value. although there is more than enough to do within walking distance of the hotel and within the hotel it is very easy to visit other parts of macau by using the free bus service located under the hotel. i am looking forward to my next visit and would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone.
Two Thumbs up”
The Grand Hyatt Macau sets the bar higher in terms of quality hotels in Macau. For travelers with young children, the hotel is a must. Not too crowded to the excited gamblers, quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Gym and Pools are must see and use. The Beijing Kitchen restaurant is a must try. The Pecking duck is sumptuous. The Sweet and sour Mandarin fish is another jewel. Will definitely be back
5 Star Experience”
I went with my girlfriend for a weekend getaway to Macau. Wanting a luxury experience we thought we’d try out the new Grand Hyatt on the Cotai Strip, above the City of Dreams. While we did not go to the Casino, the hotel and its surroundings were very pleasant. Overall a very spacious room, wonderful facilities and great location. A few little things let them down, but overall highly recommended if you want to spoil yourself.
Beautiful hotel with nice staff”
We have a great time staying in Grand Hyatt Macau. The staffs are so accomodating and always courteous. The room is very nice and the bathroom is so huge. The decorations in the lobby are so welcoming... Very accessible to nearby hotels and shops but is short of restaurants to choose from. Rides going to nearby hotels are not a problem for the hotel has provided its own shuttle bus.
