The only criticism would be when asking concierge for help printing theatre tickets they were not helpful and somewhat abrupt.

baggage storage on the day of check out will cost USD3 per item which i feel may not be necessary for a 4 star hotel. location very good as grand central terminal is just next to it.

Nice hotel with value for money!!”
The location of the hotel is the best in town. No complaints there. Room is a bit small but overall value for money was great. Serive was good and response from front desk is always quick and nice. Would recommend anyone coming to NYC

A week in New York City”
Pros- great location; very central with ease of access to the main tourist areas. House keeping were very helpful and always polite Cons- bar staff were quite ignorant to people at the bar constantly joking amongst themselves while people were waiting to be served. The market place which is an internal shop had the same attitude. Great location but staff need better management.

No toilet paper in lobby toilets, minimal staff checking customers in and out made for lengthy lines, given two conditioners and no shampoo (no sower caps or cotton buds provided)....disappointing for the Hyatt.

Very Good Instead of Excellent ”
Staff at the Hyatt were disappointing. There were communication problems between the Hyatt and Agoda on booking and billing. I paid Agoda in advance for 2 queen rooms for 3 adults for 3 nights for the best rate and received confirmation. Thank goodness I double checked with the Hyatt before we left for NYC. The Hyatt only had me booked for 1 room for 1 night. Agoda eventually straightened it out but it took numerous calls to the Hyatt. Hyatt management had to get involved to fix the mistakes on their side. It is a blessing that I checked before we left. It took a couple of days to sort out. Agoda staff was responsive, helpful and diligent. Ultimately, we had a good trip. But, after we got home, I checked my credit card statement on-line and the Hyatt had billed me for rooms I had paid for in advance! I did not get a bill at check out. Again, Agoda had to step in to fix the problem and get the Hyatt to remove the charges. Otherwise, the hotel, the accommodations, the amenities and the location suited our needs.
