Superb location”
Our third or probably fourth stay and it’s still amazing from the Valet team, Front Desk, Concierge, everyone is so friendly and helpful here. Perfect location just right behind Union Square. Shopping and cafes nearby very convenient. Not the biggest room in town but for sure it’s worth it because it’s premium location. Valet and Check in super efficient, need improvement on the room maintenance (dusty in some parts/area inside the room)

Perfect stay in San Francisco!”
The hotel was in such a great location. It was very easy to get a cab / Uber from right outside the hotel. There is a CVS & Starbucks right opposite the hotel, which makes it very convenient. Macy's is just the building across. Union Square is right beside the hotel. The restaurant at the hotel was also great for dinner & drinks. The check in & check out process was also very quick & easy. Loved our stay there, will definitely come back!!

Originally planned to stay in a higher priced hotel but due to a booking mix up ended up at the Grand Hyatt. The staff were excellent especially the concierge Joanna who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Absolutely wonderful suggestions which made our trip! Will book the Grand Hyatt again, next time on purpose!

Stung with a resort fee, not explained at check in or clearly shown at time of booking with Agoda. During stay got none of the facilities or amenities when I read what the resort fee was for. Not even bottled water in the room.

Very bad customer service and cheating”
3 problems at checking in front desk 1. Extra charged on service fee which It was misleading and hidden fees. 2. Parking fee was very expensive $73 per night 3. More 2 guests will have free breakfast but this is totally scam, hotel front desk always refuse to provide free breakfast. These things can ruin your vacation trip and have a very bad experience with Grand Hyatt Hotel. I am never ever visit this hotel again, terrible front desk. They are trying to rip you off. Please stay away this hotel.

Nice hotel in San Francisco Downtown”
This is one of the nice hotels at the heart of San Francisco, right at the Union Square area where access to the shop of a bunch of branded items is just walking distance. However, if you drive to stay there will be a bit tricky, hotel overnight self parking is 38 dollars, while valet parking will simply cost 55 dollars, which is a bit too stiff for commoners. The room interior is clean and neat, but the bathroom door does not really sealed when in used.
